I received a Galaxy Nexus from my friend who's father works for Samsung as an engineer. The phone is not a final production model, it says that it is a HSPA REV 0.9. When I attempt to boot normally or into recovery mode it goes into an endless boot loop that says it's formatting /data/. I have tried flashing it, reloading the stock ROM and nothing has worked. Thanks for any help.

I tried to change the carrier of my newly bought HTC EVO 3g. When i tried to backup the NV Ram, the phone re booted and continues to reboot after reaching the logo screen. I can go to boot loader but recovery is not working. I tried flashing it with some PC36IMG.zip downloaded of web. The whole flash process goes without a glitch but still the problem ain't solved. I tried using RUU which gives bootloader version error. My phone has a locked boot loader ie still S-ON. I just bought it a week back. Any help would be greatly appreciated..
Recently I flashed RebelRom Beta 2, it resulted in a the LG logo being displayed on my phone but nothing would happen. So I did a restore from CWM, and the restore worked fine for a couple of days but at some point my phone lost power. Now whenever I turn it on I get boot loops and am unable to get into CWM. My question is is my phone bricked, and what can I do to avoid another brick? (Note I never formatted /data and I always follow installation instructions.)

It's a known problem, at this point the solution is to restore you back and don't shut off your phone. Reboots work fine, but shut off will boot loop it.
Hmmm so I can't turn off my phone. What do you mean by reboot/how do I reboot? Also does this mean I can't flash roms anymore? And finally is there a fix on the horizon?
I rooted my Galaxy s4 as soon as I got it and after flashing a few roms i started getting issues getting them to boot up now im basically stuck on twrp because no rom will boot up, they flash perfectly but once the phone reboots i get stuck on the Black and white Samsung Galaxy S4 logo and wont boot past that. I am currently stuck on twrp recovery since nothing wants to boot up not even my backups. Any help?

If you still have a rom installed and it will not fully boot up normally
then simply go into cwm or twrp recovery and do a "factory reset",
after that it should boot normally without any further booting issues.
Since this will be the first normal boot, be sure to give it 3-4 minutes.
Have patience.
Good luck!
Hi,
My Android (Samsung Galaxy Fame Gt S6810P) stuck on start up boot screen. This is a rooted device with custom rom (xperia) was working properly. Recently I installed a custom boot animation. At beginning boot animation was playing continuously and after 2-3 restarts it was ok. I didn't restart after that. Now I restarted it yesterday, It stuck on again and even after 10 times restarts did not help. So I boot into recovery mode and tried everything including factory reset but no hope. When rebooting after factory reset it was showing some error like "no root access".
And when I reboot again stuck!! Please help me out...
Wrong forum, this is I9100 Q&A; your device has its own Q&A here. I've asked mods to move your thread, sit tight until they do.
did you have nandroid backup if yes use it..else try flashing stock firmware via odin
hey..
u can also use samsung kies for ..this issue.....
Hey guys,
So few days ago I decided to do a factory data reset on my tablet since it was moving very slow. I activated it through settings (not recovery mode) and my tablet had about 35-40% of battery. Long story short, my tablet now is in boot loop, not showing anything else except "Samsung galaxy tab 3". The thing is that this is not the first time for her getting stuck there, before I had the same problem when tried to root it, but then I simply flashed a new stock ROM and everything worked fine. This time flashing a new ROM didn't help me, I also cannot access recovery mode, only download. What do I do now?
I have the same problem on my Tab 3. Hope someone has a solution to this problem.
I've been doing a lot of flashing lately, including the stock ROM via odin, and have found that the first boot doesn't complete... I shut it down, go into recovery, do a factory reset, then boot, and it comes up fine. I'm not sure why you can't access recovery mode, but if you can, maybe try that?
Removing the external SD card solved my problem, so if you have a SD card plugged in, remove it. You can plug it back when the boot animation will start (not the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 3" splash screen).
