[BOOTANIMATION] Galaxy S Bootanimations UPDATED: 15/12/2010 [CWM & DIY]

I made four custom bootanimations so I thought that it would be cool to share it.
You can only use the bootanimation if you use a kernel that supports bootanimations like:
Speedmod by hardcore, Voodoo 5.0.2 by Supercurio, Advanced Voodoo by trasig and z4mod by DamianGto
If i forgot one then please let me know.

Installation:
CWM: Just put it on your SDcard and apply with CWM.
DIY: Use Root Explorer, mount system as R/W and move bootanimation.zip to /system/media/

yes that is possible if you're a bit handy with a paint program you can do it yourself.
But why do you want to remove that text?

And where did you get it?

the wallpaper for the lockscreen is from zedge.net and the rest is black icons for jkay ds and ics from vertumus

You need to extract the zip. Then put the bootanimation.zip in system/media and the poweron.wav in system/etc

Yes I'm trying 2 different ways

It will be a very nice rom, pro . My friend has a X10 with MIUI rom, and it looks very amazing I love it. Keep moving

first off why not make it based om cm9 because then it only needs theming and framework patch
and i will say from source is best way
because those apks doesnt has any sense

Because Stock MIUI feels better than heavy theming and patches (Might include the CM9 framework patches)

Yes I know. There is a thread on it but links to download are not up as you will have to wait for it to be released. But in the meanwhile I'll do what I can Now and then include some of the things in the Ace miui Rom. I still need devs! So we can work out the kinks.

I've downloaded the PatchROM inside my linux partition, but i don't know what should i do after that. :
Do we have to resize all the apps to MDPI?
If the answer is yes, i want to ask something. So if the MIUI Official Team updates their ROM, do we have to re-resize the apps each time they update the ROM again in order to make this work for Gio?
I mean, like this scheme :
1. Resize apps->port to gio
2. When MIUI update their ROM, resize the latest apps again -> port to gio
3. When MIUI update their ROM again, resize the latest apps again -> port to gio.
Does the scheme is like that? Or we just have only resize for the first time only?

now we can port it

If miui has been portet to ace, made it for gio is simple. Just little modify build.prop, and change some libs

[MOD][ZipThemer] Framework Animation

Hello!
This is Vicino's Animation that he made for Xylon Rom. (Just the Framework Animation. Nothing else.)
I've made it into a Zipthemer package so others can enjoy it as i do.
It is tested on Maguro: Xylon, Xenon Hd Stable-1, CM 10.1, PA 2.99 Beta 9

I've put it in root of sdcard and then tried to flash it.

Download zipthemer from the play store and use zipthemer to build the framework animation.zip into a flashable zip for you.

Thanks for this. Worked as intended on xylon 14 latest beta.
Btw, have you ask vicino's permission? As i remember, he doesn't permit anyone to make zipthemer version of his animation.

I think I'm doin something wrong. I used zipthemer, then flashed the file it made for me using twrp& nothing happened. It says flash fail.

Confirm. Has the same problem too.
I think it's the problem of this mod, `cuz when I've apllied Xylon framework animation it worked fine for me as well as for others

Have you use the good edify in ZipThemer ?

You have to update the edify from the zipthemer menu.

for those getting install failed in twrp or so ...use zipthemer > menu>update edify>browse and select a zip rom or kernel or what u already have on storage and then press configure and voilla...rebuild package and you are good to go

Will this only work with maguro? Or since it's zipthemer will it work on toro as well?

It should work. I can not test it since i do not own a toro, but the beauty of ZipThemer is that when it creates an update package for you to install it also creates an undo package as well. So... You can try to see if it works. If not, the undo zip restores your framework to it's original state. If you try it and it works, please share your feedback... Cheers!

Hi, this is my first thread. Well, I have ported a playboy bootanimation for ya. It works perfectly on our Samsung Galaxy SIII Mini.
The bootanimation is under the attachment. Little tips: this bootanimation match with Virginity ROM.

1-Download the bootanimation under attachment
2-Copy it to /system/media
3-Paste and overwrite the old bootanimation

theres a simple fix for this problem just wiping cache/dalvik and fix permission after installing will make it very smooth
