Dimensions of the battery - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Accessories

Just a quick question to see if my existing desire z wall charger will work for my new note batteries (awaiting delivery for note).
Can someone give me the height, width and depth of the standard battery? I might be able to hack at the charger if need be.
Thanks in advance.

Well, I can't give super precise measurements. The battery is about 0,6 cm thick, 6,7 cm tall and 5,2 cm wide.

Mugen Extended Battery (Lots of Pics)

Hey guys,
Just got the mugen extended battery in the mail. Their regular shipping somehow took longer than 3 weeks and I still have not received the item, so I asked them to reship using FedEx. Guess what, it took 2 days to get to Richmond Hill, Canada, which is just north of Toronto.
Anyways, just though I'd upload some high quality pics with measurements so if any of you guys are planning on buying it, you guys have a sense of how things ll look when you get it.
Feel free to update this with your own pictures.
Update 1: More pictures of battery on phone. Post #10
________________________________________________________________________________
After using this for some times, I believe I can give a rather full rounded review of this case
Make and Looks:
After looking at the pics below, it is definitely safe to conclude that if you cannot stand additional bulk to the galaxy nexus, this extended is definitely not a recommended, as it does double the thickness of the phone. Also, this battery is not for those who are seriously concious of the way their phones look, as this is, to be honest, not the best looking extended battery pack out there.
HOWEVER, if you are like me, and enjoy funtion over form, it would be my pleasure to say that this battery is definitely recommended. The back casing of the Mugen Power battery mimicks the back of the galaxy nexus to provide users with enough grip so as to reduce the slipperiness and possibilities of drops. Also, the battery which is rated at 4000mah does add some weight to the phone, which to me is a great addition as it just feels that the phone is more secure in my hands with the added weight. The battery, when installed on the phone, depicts the resemblence of a humpback whale, which not to say is ugly in anyway, it is simply Unique. The kickstand is a bit flimsy, but that is just an additional use of the new backing to watching movies and videos, so can't complain there.Lastly, the camera holes are perfectly cut out for the 5MP camera, it does not affect picture quality in anyway, but does take away from the original good looks of the phone.
Usage
To be honest, the GNEX isn't among the top performing android handsets in the battery department. Getting through a full day with my full usage has always been a problem, no matter what brightness setting I set. Battery times for me has always been 13-16 hours with 3-4 hours standby, and that is already after using franco kernel and aokp.
Now, with the Mugen Power battery, I can say this: I have a GMAXXXXXXXXXX. The battery after 3 - 5 charge cycles is AMAZING! Unlike other cheap extended batteries, I would say that mugen lived up to their name, as this battery is more than what they described as double my battery life. With it, I get by two days with super super super heavy usage including a ton a gaming, videos, and auto-sync and wifi on 24/7. That is around 2 days 3 hours with 7-9 hours screen on with the screen at around 50% brightness!!
Would I recommend?
Yes, I would definitely recommend this extended battery to anyone out there. If the price of said Mugen Battery is within your acceptable budget limit, there is no other battery that compares to what Mugen is delivering. And as the old saying goes, "You get what you payed for".
Thanks for this, please post back your results

Could you also post some pics of the battery in the phone? I want to see how it fits the back of the phone. (like how much it takes away from the aesthetics, namely.)

The seido doesnt even look good on it. try the SGP Neo Hybrid, cut the back flap off, so the battery sticks through , and that way, it looks sexy and it provides the functionality you need
Also, a fellow xda member has posted a picture about how it would look

What's with the lip around the back? is it because of your cut? BTW, whats the material on the back of the seido? it doesnt look plastic..is it matte or something?
Yes it's because of the cut. I could probably cut a little more to make it more streamlined.
The seidio with NFC has a soft touch battery cover. It matches the case and feels great in the hand.

Case with batteries possibles?

Since One X has the pogo pin at the bottom that support charging, will it be possible to have case with extended batteries connect to OneX via the pogo pin?
Majority of case w/ batteries (for other phones) makes the phone bigger since it needs to connect to the port at the side. with pogo pin, the case can be same side, just making the phone a big thicker.
it's possible, but whether it will become reality will depend on HTC and third-party manufacturers..
I inquired about something like this from power skin, got a reply that a case will be available in about 40 days, not sure if they'll be using the pogo stuff or standard micro usb
Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
They have them for the Galaxy SII (with the MicroUSB connector) so it's obviously possible. I wonder if the charging pins on the back could be used - that would make it a much sleeker case. I would buy one...

God I would hope they use the pogo pins... I mean they're so convenient!
Should be possible. Pogo pins are just USB really, only reason not to do it is poor design.

I am also waiting for an accessory like this. Hope some company makes one I think it would be very popular!
A TPU case with a battery capable of recharging the phone 1.2 times would be great, especially with pogo-pin power delivery.
I'd imagine that it would run from just at the very edge of where the camera is, all the way down to just short of the speaker grille, and the full width of the back. That probably means that the battery can be comparatively thin instead of increasing thickness, or so I'd hope.
I am awaiting such cases badly ... if such a battery case is released I would buy it instantly ...

You know what's better than a case with a battery? A case with a battery and sdcard slot! If Usbotg gets working, it really could be a possibility!
Sent from my Thrive using Tapatalk 2
If it can be done for the galaxy nexus, then its ideal to have it for the ox, although it really depends on the manufacturers and I really think sd card thing would be brilliant

The second model looks awful. Really happy with this development though as the limited battery life for my needs is the only thing holding back this phone for me

This battery is really good?
Very big fan, and I won't often stick my neck out on such matters. I used my phone a lot today (although not my craziest of usage days) and I was on 81% at 7pm. I told my girlfriend (whose iPhone was dead) but she didn't care at all

Same issue with my friends phone.
Battery works just fine , but the cover won't click in properly.
I have one of the hyperion extended batteries, it works great but make the phone look like a turtle, spoils all the benefit of the nice slim design the note has going for it. However, it does sit better in the hand though. I use it occasionally, like on some days when I know I'll be out using my GPS and data heavily and still I have like 40% remaining. Does not double the battery life but more like 1 2/3 good thing is I can use my phone heavily for the entire day and not wonder if I will have juice remaining.
i'm planning to buy a new battery. i will remember of this 5000mah. thank you.

I do own one! This battery rocks!
Tremendous Capacity! It lasts 2 days with ease (with minor use) :good:
Believe me when I say this, but this battery is DEFINITELY worth the money!
Something else that you should pay attention (very important!) is the quality of the cover, since it is unique with your battery and there is no replacement!
I used another battery like this before with a "sweat" kind of plastic cover and with no side stand. Bigger cover, more difficult to handle, which I was forced to remove afterwards, due poor quality and increased wear.
THIS SPECIFIC cover, is covered by an excellent quality and increased strength!
It is surely a good buy!

Samsung S III battery dimensions

Hi everybody,
Sorry if i am in the wrong place. I have a Tinji Mobile GT-I9300 SIII clone. Its stock battery performance is too much poor. Watching about 1 hour and 30 minutes video while all the sensors are off ( except cell raido ). I want to buy a battery better in performance. The stock battery is labeled with the same model code as SIII original battery which is EB-L1G6LLU 2100 mAh. But it has 3 connection pins different from the original SII battery which has 4 connection pins. My battery dimensions are Length:63.20mm, Width:50.08mm, Height:4.41 mm.
Anyone can check these values with the original SIII battery ? If it matches, i am intending to buy one or two.
Thanks,
Firat
Length: 5 cm (1.9685 inches)
Height: 6,3 cm (2.48031 inches)
Width: 0,5 cm (0.19685 inch)
Also, not only the dimensions matter cause there are some cutouts on the corners (see pic)
thank you very much

Hi,
thank you very much for your response. It helped me very much. Dimensions are the same as my current battery and also cutouts on the corners are same, either. Absolutely identical. Interestingly, the phone dimensions ( except the tickness, a litle bit ticker than original ) are the same, even though mine has a 4.6" display that is slightly smaller than the original one which is 4.8".
I ordered the extended batteries. will see if it really fits.
thank you very much again.
Hi! have you got the batteries? are them ok with your phone? I am in the same situation than you, so I'd like to know if the batteries fits with a tinji S3 clone!!
Thank you!

Hi,
Yes, i have received them. Dimension are OK. There is a plastic part on the pins side of the battery i received that helps the battery be securely held in its place. But that does not match of my phone's battery holder. In fact, with some sharp material that part may be cut to make it fit in the battery holder. I did not try it, because the back cover received with the battery does not lock my phone.
I sold them to someone else that has an original S III and he got pleased with both battery and back cover and the performance of the battery itself.
I hope this helps....

I personally haven't tried that one but i have the 4400 mah anker and it adds quite a bit of bulk. Probably the same bulk as an otterbox. But trust me it feels a lot better in hand. And have about 5-6+ hours of screen time is so worth it. I know people that also use the battery as a back up.

I actually just bought one of these last week after looking for a 3000mah battery that wouldn't break the bank. I pm'ed someone that had a battery list, price and review thread going to see if they knew anything about it but got no response (Guess newbies are nobodys) or maybe I missed the pm policy.
Anyways I'm pretty happy with it I guess. It will get me through an 8hr work day faily easy but the S3 just seems to burn through battery at an incredible rate no matter the size of the battery. I haven't really put it through any sort of test so other than that I can't really say much. It will add significant thickness to the phone. If I compare the S3 next to my Razr Maxx I'd say it's about a millimeter or two thicker.
