[Q] [REQ] [THEME] [PORT] Purple or Red

Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in making a purple theme or a red theme. I think it would be nice to have different colored themes we haven't seen yet on our phones. Again thank you everyone for your endless hours of hard work in making all this for us. I attached a link on a theme called Purple Haze for the Epic 4G AOKP ROM. Love the way it looks. If possible to make it available for any of AnaKonda/AOKP/Blazer/VeNuM Ice. Maybe a port or create a new one?

i believe ppl are waiting one the official ICS kernel so ppl will actually use the theme ..say if i make a theme an the next day ICS updates to a new kernel ppl aren't really goin to use it..but your ideas are nice ..are u using gb or ICS ?

Thanks I didn't know that. But helps a lot. I'm using AnaKonda ROM at the moment but I'm constantly switching to AOKP or ICE. I like them all a lot.

I'm not intersted in the $$ and have worked on a port... but you do realize this is cm7/2.3.7 right??? It's NOT ICS... unless I missed something??

Hell im still using GB. And im absolutely positive im not the only one using GB still lol....so regardless if this isnt ICS as of yet....a port of it would be great. Besides im sure it would be more stable than current ICS state on our phones.

Edit: This is gb, 1.2.0. To get anything newer I'd have to register and I don't speak the language. =P
I haven't really been through it all yet. Video recording seemed to not work and signal was a little wonky. You have to go into settings> operator and select sprint. Didnt really have time to test much else yet.

To turn data on go to System settings - Mobile Networks - Access Point Names - and click the dot for sprint.
Just to let you know this is a extremely alpha build. I don't think the camera works... might have some force closes. Not a daily driver.

Downloading now. Will report back

On JoyOS.
Buttery smooth...fast.
Camera works
Recording doesn't.
Obviously no 4g
Wifi works
USB utilities work
Status bar still has Chinese/Japan w/e language
All UI customizations work
Widgets work
Needs a few image tweaks
Looks like iPhone fresh out the box lol....
Seems pretty much stable so far...ill explore more. I'm at ihop with the lil baby trying to eat lol.

Generally you would want to start a WIP type thread in the general section ...then once deemed stable and worthy of postage in the Dev section....you get a release thread

Whatever happened to CM7?

I saw there was a someone developing it for our device some months back but it seems to be dead now & is not fully functional. Maybe I'm crazy but I would still love to use CM7 in the midst of all this ICS/Jelly Bean craziness I loved it on my DX

Our developers have moved on to cm10 now bro. I guess there is no Interest in cm7

Dude I just logged on to make a thread asking the same question! I'm sure cm7 on this phone would have been bad ass! Sadly it probably won't happen til later on down the road after this phone is old and done and someone decides to tackle it for fun.

Honestly if wimax was working I'd gladly take the jump onboard cm7 for awhile. Never got to experience cm7 on this phone. Not to mention this phone was built to run gingerbread!

I wonder why they waited all the way until ICS was released to open source HC.

I had Cm7 running for a couple days, can you say butter! It was so nice to have a ROM like that. And the themes was a bonus. It only needs a little more work in my opinion.

I see no reason to be flamed for that! Cm7 is not that old and it was great and we epic touch users never really got to get into it as much as we liked.

CM7 brings back bad memories for this community. People keep asking about it like twice a week too.
Bubby and that who what when where why. Guy apparently ripped people off and that was about the end of CM7 on the E4GT. CM9 took focus and CM10 is dividing it a little now.

I believe the source is still there. Not sure how hard it would be but with GB source being available for this phone if someone wanted they could compile it. I'm sure it would get some love. There is always people out there that like to run older builds for fun. Hell I saw cupcake being built for one phone. Can't remember which but I thought it would be pretty cool to try it.

I use trwp and have never had an issue but it will work with any of the custom recoveries
download theme,
place on root of sd,
wipe dalvik and caches.

Awesome Theme. I love the clean look on the icons, animations, and color. Perfect for me. The Jellybomb theme was way too blue for my tastes! You put together a great mix here. Thank you!

I've done some theming for the sgs2 and 3 so I threw this together and if anyone is interested I'll post it. As of right now this is only for Jedi 14. Let me know if you guys and gals want it.
Well folks sorry this took so long but been like crazy busy. This will work on jedi master 14 and jedi x 15, sorry no tweaked yet. If you do not want the status bar clock you must flash the N0-CLOCK.zip first then the theme. I would like to thank my good friend lantek23 because i borrowed some of his images from his blackglass theme. Oh almost forgot if you want the text bubbles in the screenshots the are bubbles #5.

I'm at a county fair with the wife but I'm gonna try and get it up tonight or first thing tomorrow at the latest. Don't want the wife pissed at me for as she says "playing with my phone. Lol. I'll put up 2 versions one without the status bar clock and one with. I personally can't stand that damn clock. There is a lot more themed than what the screen shots show. So I hope ya all like it and please if there is anything else ya want in there don't hesitate to ask.

I'm working on a version for tweaked but there are a lot of differences between the two roms. Power should be on in a few hours so keep your eyes out for the links.

What's up mongo? I remember you from the S2/Juggernaut days (hope you haven't forgotten). This guy does solid work, something you can obviously see is the screenshots. Keep up the theming as we could use more non-AOSP themers.
