I just received the OTA update and they have solved the biggest problem of all i.e. the menu button..
Now we can long press multitask button to bring up the menu when the 3 dot menu does not appear.
Also it shows 3 dot menu in places where they wouldn't usually appear.eg. Root Explorer...Screenshots coming later courtesy ckpv5.
THOSE WHO HAVE ROOTED..IMP:
You cannot update until you unroot and lock your bootloader again.
STEPS:
1.) Use fastboot and use command is 'fastboot oem lock'
2.) Then remove SuperUser
3.) Then try the system update.
It is a small 9 mb update so downloading worries
HIT THANKS IF I HELPED!!
isnt it already availible ? i have that feature already since i bought it. can i know what version is the one that you downlod ?
update :
i just update it and i lost my clock widget and music widget. i havent found any big difference so far. therefore i've got the menu feature since i bought it.
update 2 :
nvm, once i reboot everything gets back

I dont know if this happened to my phone before root or after root + custom rom.
When you open google play market on the top right you should have 3 dot menu. on my phone it is missing that. does any one know how to get it back ? thanks

Hi, If you installed a custom ROM, your 3-dot menu should be disabled and the menu key is remapped to recent key (The last touch key on your phone under the screen)
And to repair it you probably have a tweak section on your ROM (based on j4n87 tweaks) go to the tweaks and change it back
I know lots of you are booting into recovery like crazy but in order to do so we've got to press and hold 3 buttons at once, its gonna wear out our buttons.......not anymore!
Go to the Play store and install QuickBoot. Once installed you can then make a shortcut on your desktop, or the dock if you choose, for recovery. Simply tapping the shortcut automatically powers off your phone and boots you directly into CWM recovery.

Yep...I do something similar. I have a scrolling dock, apps are one the first "page" and toggles are on the second, including QuickBoot's boot into recovery :good:

Well for me this is the longest I have stayed with a stock rom EVER lol. I dont want to flash any custom rom right now, im too lazy to a 4 in 1 reboot mod so this works just wonderful for the time being.
You could just always download rom manager and use it to boot into recovery..

Tasker is also very handy for this. Create a new task with a pop-up menu that has your reboot options- Recovery, Normal, Bootloader. On home screen- Add > Shortcut > Task Cut > select task. Edit icon if necessary. Done!

There was a small hide button on those 3 buttons in B106, but after upgrading to B107 that disappeared and it seems you can't hide the "back, home and open tasks" buttons anymore? Is there still a way to hide those 3 buttons?
I dont had down arrow button in b106 welll but i also want to hide the soft keys, anyone can tell us how to get that hide button ??
Really? I had that function when I was in B106, but when I upgraded to B107 and reset my phone to default, it was gone.
This Feature is disabled on the global Versions, but with Root you can reactivate it Just edit your Build Prop
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390352
ro.config.hw_shownavisettings = true means that you can hide the navigation bar (Settings -> Navigation Bar). <- Works with ROM version 104 and 107

I m telling you what i did.OK, first you need to root your phone. Instructions are here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2390491
TRY THE 3RD ONE.THE BEST
IF U DONT GET ROOT THEN BACKUP UR DATA AND FACTORY RESET AND REDO INSTRUCTIONS !!!!
Then install build prop editor from google play store. Open it, it will require root access, press left button ( grant written in chinese).
Search for line "ro.config.hw_shownavisettings" press the option. now make the false buttons "TRUE", so the line becomes "ro.config.hw_shownavisettings=true"
Give feedback and press Thanks, cheers :highfive:

Thanks for your help :good:
L has been out for a couple of weeks for now and after flashing the L port from android develoment page I noticed that in the power menu there was no options for "rebooting to recovery" so I put these together:
View attachment Reboot.4.apk
View attachment Reboot_Recovery.3.apk
View attachment Reboot_Bootloader.1.apk
The names are self explaining but I am not responsible if u get put into a boot loop or anything like that.
I am going to be making more things like this but here is the link for my original thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/themes-apps/cool-tasker-apps-t2869234 that I started posting apps like this on
TO USE THIS JUST DOWNLOAD THE OPTIONS YOU WANT AND INSTALL THEM. NEXT JUST CLICK ON THE APP AND GRANT SUPER SUER PREMISON THEN CLICK ON THE APP AND IT WILL REBOOT TO RECOVERY OR JUST REBOOT YOU OR REBOOT YOU INTO YOUR BOOTLOADER
Just in time, just flashed Android L (9001) and I want Reboot Menu options like previous custom roms tweaked..
thanks and trying it now.. feedbacks in a moment
hope i wont get bootloop
No problem did it work?, I myself am using 9001 and it works great. Check out my other thread (link up top) I have more lile this one.

Yeah it works, but it would be better if its only 1 app when click it pop-ups the reboot recovery, bootloader & turn-off menu...

You guys could download the zip update in the official website and place it in the root folder. Once you restart the phone the update will be detected.

Already done that but no luck. it keeps me ERROR.
Is this update is for everyone or one who got bugs in pie update because i didn't get any update and also there was no bug in my previous pie update
For those who got fail, try update it through recovery. It works for me.
Download the zip file from the official website. Put it in external sd card. Boot to recovery mode and select "Apply update from external storage". Then, choose the zip file.

Yeah. I relocked the bootloader using this method:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/max-pro-m2/how-to/unroot-relock-bootloader-max-pro-m2-t3885870
This will wipe everything and encrypt back your phone.
