I think this tut is for advance users. But others can try
1. Get your "framework-res.apk" in /system/framework
2. Use apktool to decomplie that file. (I recommend apktool becoz I often use it )
- Command to decomplie: apktool d framework-res.apk framework-res
3. Download source file here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?4u6y6udecy60dei
Click to collapse
4. In extracted folder which u get from "framework-res.apk", find "anim" folder in \res
5. Extract source file in step 3, u will get 2 folder:
- anims
- other_files
6. Copy files from both folders in step 5 into "anim" folder in step 4
7. Open "integers.xml" in /res/value and find this line:
<integer name="config_shortAnimTime">150</integer>
Click to collapse
then add the following lines after it:
<integer name="config_activityShortDur">150</integer>
<integer name="config_activityDefaultDur">220</integer>
Click to collapse
8. Complie your "framework-res.apk" with command: apktool b framework-res new.apk
9. You will get a file "new.apk" but dont use it. Open extracted folder which u get in step 2, u will find a folder "build" and a file is "resource.arsc" inside
10. Now you need to use 7zip. Right click on that resource file, choose 7zip > add to archive and select original framework-res.apk with type is zip.
11. Open "new.apk" in step 8 and original "framework-res.apk" with 7zip. Drag and drop "anim" and xml folders in "new.apk" to "framework-res.apk"
12. It's finished. U can use the file "framework-res.apk" now and see the transition.
Have fun! If u have question, just ask and I will answer

[UPDATED][Boot Animation + Sound -Fixed] Droid RAZR boot animation for SGA

UPDATED: Boot sound for Samsung ROM has been fixed.
UPDATED: Now it's cropped correctly and the image quality has been improved.
Hi All,
I've just found the original Motorola Droid RAZR boot animation. It looks really nice and futuristic, so I decided to edit it to fit in our SGA because the original boot animation was for HDPI devices which appears bigger in SGA.
Yes, you can use this boot animation in any rom.
How to install (it's not flashable):
Download the attached zip file bootanimation.zip (don't change the name)
Use root explorer or same kind of tool.
Copy the boot animation from SD card and paste it to /system/media folder
Reboot, and see the changes...
How to install boot sound (for any CM7-based ROM):
Read this guide to enable boot sound on CM7: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1298144
Download the attached zip file android_audio.zip and then extract it
Copy the mp3 file android_audio.mp3 from SD card and paste it to /system/media folder
Reboot
How to install boot sound (for any Samsung-based ROM):
Download the attached zip file PowerOn.zip and then extract it
Copy the wav file PowerOn.ogg from SD card and paste it to /system/etc folder
Reboot
Please rate this thread and press the thanks button if you like this boot animation

Zip it using WinRAR or 7zip, using Store compression method.
Make sure your desc.txt is consistent, eg if you only have one folder then only one entry should be used on desc.txt.
Bootanimation is consisted of images (for me seems that OP is trying to make a boot animation using videos), I mostly use PNG and JPEG/JPG.
A new boot animation doesn't increases the boot time, unless you use a super awesome boot animation that has 50+Mb size. Try to keep it small.
I don't know if this will change something, but I've never used a interlaced PNG file. So, don't save PNG as interlaced.
Remember to set the correct permissions on phone!
I think this should be enough for your bootanimations to work Also, check this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1678540.
Okay here is your answer...Also go check mine- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1663859
Making zip(easy way):
1.Download bootanimation creator and previewer- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1234611
2.Install both
3.Take your .png files and copy them into part0 and part1(If u have one)folders
4.Copy both those folders into one new folder
5.Open bootaniamation creator and select your folder
6.change your values fps etc.
7.Set loop for part0 folder to 1
8.Set loop for part1 folder to 10
9.Save bootanimation and copy to system/media
Making flashable zip:
1.Copy your bootanimation.zip (The one u made above rename to bootanimation.zip) to a new folder named media and cut media into a new folder named system
2.Zip it up
3.Download META-INF folder (atached) and extract it - http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?l4opf3nn4w10p0a
4.Go inside the folder and go in META-INF/com/google/android
5.Open Updater-Script with notepad++/Scite(I prefer it) I already made it just edit bootanimation created by ...
5.And add it to your zip
Also when u create a flashable zip permisions will be set as it is in updater-script so this should resolve your problem as it forces the phone to set permisions
Making a preview:
1.Go to gif ninja.com
2.Uploud your .png's in your part folders
3.Create the gif
4.Wait....
5.Right click on image and click properties
6.Copy the link
7.Use it as a image in XDA!
Happy bootanimation making!Hope this helped!if it did not please drop me a pm would love to help!
here my creation : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3-NCstEO255RmNISXZwa1ducFk/view?usp=docslist_api
But it does not work. leave a blank screen. Pls someone test and tell my fault

Creating/Installing Custom Bootanimation For Android

C r e a t i n g/ I n s t a l l i n g
C u s t o m B o o t a n i m a t i o n F o r A n d r o i d
Step 1 :- CREATE ANIMATION IMAGES
Open Photoshop(or any other image editor).Make the background color black and then place the image layer above background layer and make its opacity 0% and save it as PNG named 0000 and then keep on increasing the opacity (Remember name for First Image should be 0000.png,for second 0001.png,for third 0002.png and so on.Save them in 240x320 resolution(your device's resolution)
TIP:-Use splatter or any other brushes:-Same as above but the difference is you will not change the opacity it should be 100% and the splatters on the image will increase with new one.(IT LOOKS QUITE IMPRESSIVE)
Step 2:-
Make two folder named part0 and part1. Put your images created in those folder. For Ex. 0000.png to 0009.png in part0 and 0010.png to 0070.png in part1.
Step3 :-
Create desc.txt
and write:-
240 320 24
p 1 0 part0
p 0 0 part1
and save it
------------------------------------------------------------------
EXPLANATION of 240 320 24
p 1 0 part0 :-
240 320(your device's resolution)
24(frames per second.......higher the no. faster will your bootanimation)
p(pointer to tell it to look at new commands)
1(no. of times this section of bootanimation will play....0=infinite)
0(Pause....0=no pause 10=10sec pause repeating or moving on next line)
part0(folder in which your animation images are contained)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[/B] Step 4:-
Create a folder named bootanimation and in that put part0,part1 and desc.txt.ZIP the contents of bootanimation folder(REMEMBER COMPRESSION METHOD SHOULD BE STORE)
Step 5:-
Copy bootanimation.zip to your sd card.
Step 6:-
Using Root Explorer(or any other alternatives) copy bootanimation.zip to system\media (Remember change mount to R/W)
STEP 7 :-
Reboot,ENJOY and SHOW-OFF!

Definitely a difference between this and bravia engine 1,the screen much more vivid
No problem so far, so if you want to try,Download file from attachement.
Extract the contents of the attachment, I've put them on the location folder, example:
The contents of app/ to system/app/
The contents of etc/ to system/etc/

Set their permissions to rw-r--r--. And then, add these lines to build.prop:

i already tried it. i can't see any improvements.
Take a look at your photographies. There is more contrast, they are more sharp, and you probably notice more depth in picture. In the end it depends on your eyes. And dont try it in sunlight, our screen is too poor for it.
