[CWM FLASHABLE] Ripped Samsung Boot Animations (MDPI 320 * 480)[UPDATE] - Galaxy Ace S5830 Themes and Apps

UPDATE - More Ripped Bootanimation optimized for MDPI (320 * 480) CWM FLASHABLE
well, hello guys, this is my first thread and my first try
what i do here is making a simple flashable bootanimation .zip files, optimized for MDPI devices.
> no need for copy in /system/media and altering permissions :good: because i've found a lot of bootanim that you have to put it manually.
> optimized for MDPI screen :good:
> separated small file and flexible, you don't have to install a new rom and you can install it whether in stock rom, cm7, or cm9. :good:
> bored? just switch to another boot animation, simply via cwm or px recovery :good:

INSTALLATION
1. Download the attached ZIP and copy to the root of your SD card.
2. Reboot into Recovery (CWM or PX tested).
3. Choose "Flash zip from sdcard."
4. Choose the "pawnboy_ICSBOOT.zip" and let it do its thing.
5. Once it's complete, reboot your phone and you're done.
For more detailed view you can use themechooser (i.e. AChep's ICS theme combined with nexus bootanimation and nexus boot sound (which i have one)
and edit your build.prop (phone model, android version, build display etc.)

1) ICS Nexus Boot Animation
this is a stock boot animation ripped from ICS, and converted to MDPI resolution (320 * 480) and i made the flashable zip file (just flash with cwm or px recovery)
works nice on my ace tested with stock, cm7 & cm9
download it here : http://www.mediafire.com/?k7yivzb5k766v6i 842 Downloads to date

attractive illumination, with on & off boot animation. hefty file

4) Galaxy SIII Boot Animation
not very different from above.

If the custom kernel has support for both original and custom boot animation you don't need to make any change to the original.
If you want to use custom boot animation you just put that in data/local. If you want to use the Original you just remove the custom boot animation;-)

[Boot Animation] Android Particle Ring (Dynamic Hue HDPI)

need help in installing
Hi,
I have flashed the bootanimation zip file on my S2 (stock XWLP7 non rooted) through CWM, but the boot animation is old one only it did not change.
Below are the steps I took to flash this, please let me know if I am doing anything wrong
1. Download CWM on external SD card and animation zip on internal SD
2. Power off Phone
3. Hold down the 3 buttons: Volume-up, Home and Power
4. Press volume down to ‘apply update from external storage’
5. Use volume down to find the CWM.zip
6. CWM installed and ClockworkMod Recovery menu appeared
7. Press on the screen ‘ – install zip from sdcard’
8. Press on ‘choose zip from sdcard’
9. select boot animation zip file
10. Install
11. reboot
Please help I want to change the boot animation...
You need a kernel that supports custom bootanimation, stock, non rooted will probably not work.

why can't i overwrite this bootanimation? I wanted to try another bootanimation so i replaced the bootanimation.zip with the new one and reboot but it still shows this bootanimation. How do i remove it and make sure that the new one works?

I think I saw one.
But was really weird
the was like some missing pixels.
The part where it says to acces recovery mode, the buttons were wrong.
The OS Version said like 2.3.4 and not 2.3.7
and recovery mode text was green
It also said "Made by..."
Which I totally hate when they do that.
So I did my own, without any of the stuff and the correct information.
Very nice.one to keep...thnks

[9th Jul] Google Play Edition Boot Animation - Optimised for S3 - Inc Boot Sounds

This is the same boot animation that's doing the rounds, as well as one made by me for the SGS3.
This one has been optimised for the display size of the SGS3 and resized to 720x153 (1080x240 original) and looks much better on our display's resolution.
This is for any 720p display.
Ask your ROM dev to enable boot animation zips, or use Anbech's mod:

How to use:
Make sure you have boot animation zips enabled.

It's so lovely & simple...Thanks
Just an alternative/workaround since the method above didnt flawlessly work. For those stuck in Galaxy S3 Boot animation test in boot, even after flashing one of the two bootanimations after enabling, here it is:
1. Enable boot animation, learn here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1897969
2. When you boot, open a root explorer, FX Explorer or Root Browser. Under system/data/local, delete bootanimation.zip, or back it up if you want.
3. Boot to CWM, Flash your choice of Google Edition or SGS3 Google Edition boot animations.
Youre done, and enjoy. Hope that is clear to you.

you have to find the enabler of custom boot animations (for your ROM).
