Very important for me to write any thing to add or change.
Of course I would not do a new version every day but I'll try to update important things!
Install as normal CM9.
It is important to know:
-Works only to P930
-You can not go back to the base 2.3.5 ROM(you can via backup or unbricking tutorial)
-You can connect to the computer only in media mode
-Always maintained earlier version, sometimes a new version that contains bugs
-If you have same bugs - do not make WIPE DATA. It usually does not work up, just delete your data and apps.

yeah, the launcher is very tres cool but i think still has some issues, i'm showing double microphones in the search bar, for example, and going through the original thread about it , linked in the OP, there is some confusion....still reading that thread though.
also, i couldn't get gapps to flash, tried 2x.

Love this rom, can't Waite for your minor fixes and customizations.

How's the battery life? or any "save battery" tweaks? The only reason I'm not on CM9 atm is the bad experience I had w/ the battery life when it first came out.

That's strange mirage, I found my battery was way better after I flashed the first nightly!

I checked out the thread for this motorola launcher. Seems to be the major difference between CM9. What makes it so special? I couldn't see much that makes it better than apex.

i read the OP and understand that, thus my comment that the gapps did not flash with the ROM as per the original instructions.

just reflashed the op ROM after wiping data and such & reconfirming my earlier helpful comment that gapps is not fully included in the rom.

None of those apps (besides Search) are part of the standard CM9 gapps package either.

the one i downloaded had them (the link in the huge cm9 thread). as well as the wiki page gapps link and rom manager pro's gapps does as well.
anywhoo, not sure why this needs to be continually pointed out to me, i simply commented about gapps in an earlier post, it wasn't a big deal then and it's not now.

hope this clears up the confusion on which gapps for cm9

Anyone using this ROM? How is it compared to stock CM9? Speed? Battery life? Also, if I'm coming from CM9 what do I have to wipe?

Actually the gapps that is generally recommended is the latest found here.

again, that is the link provided in the cm9 thread and in that link is the March 17 ICS gapps zip which is v11, the v i referenced above.
perhaps if y'all let me know what your point is in making this an issue with me i can get a better idea of what it is you are trying to achieve here. otherwise i am unsure as to why my non-essential comment re: install is being picked apart.

The only point I was trying to make was that the 03/17 gapps, as far as I can tell from Googling, is *not* the same as gapps v11 because the only threads I see that talk about gapps v11 are from January and February. Now since I'm at work and can't download v11 and 3/17 to compare the two packages, I can't speak to whether or not your v11 .zip that you are using has more of the Google apps than the *latest* which is 03/17. This is really kind of a silly discussion.

I'm just trying to clear it up for you (and anyone else). No one is making it an "issue".
The "v11" package is old, from January. If some sources still recommend to use them, it is because those sources have not been updated to recommend the newer ones available. The latest gapps package is from March (gapps-ics-20120317-signed.zip), which is the one used in this ROM (it says so right in the first post). The two packages are not the same.

It loads up but gets stuck in boot mode..
with theese triangles.moving around..
When i click power off it goes in but with a message..

This ROM was based on LT26i Xperia S, so the SD card cannot working. Currently, all the ROM from XS cannot working very well on ACRO S, may be you need make this ROM based on ACRO S official ROM.

With official Acro S ROM as base and the Acro S CWM-Kernel, the SD card should work.
Basically, the ROMs for Xperia S and Acro S are the same but there seems to be a small difference somewhere in handling the external storage.

Those 6 peoples who downloaded can say if sd card works?

Good news, the SD card can be found but the music in it not been load after replaced two files. However, I still met system crash error, unfortunately, Google Services Framework has stopped. And still have not above menu and black background screen.

This is my first booting ROM, it seems working fine, for best performance enable Zram to 26% and overclock to 1400Mhz (not necessary but adds smoothness ), and use TURBOBOOST mod if you meet some slowdowns!
First boot takes a while, and when setup wizard comes up you will get a force close of a thing but don't worry, that doesnt matter!
And let the rom stabilize because for the first 2-3 minutes it's laggy as hell! :cyclops:

If you want the mass storage shortcut, you have 2 options:
- flash this zip http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41446998&postcount=24 wich also contains smallapps launcher and another thing, wich are very very buggy and i wont fix
- flash this projectsmyrna.com/dogaozkaracahost/paolosrom/storage.zip wich is the same exact zip without those buggy apps, just the shortcut. If you use the shortcut please go thank him because it's his work.
Anyway YOU MUST flash the zip AFTER THE FIRST BOOT, if you flash it with the rom you will have a bootloop.

IMPORTANT
Some guys can flash the rom correctly, some get an error, can you guys take a screenshot or a photo of the error?
Just to be sure, toggle MD5 check off, and try again if you have problems!

i've reuploaded and problem is continuing so paolo could you check update-script? also dropbox one giving error too

Ok thank you doga, I'm sure I know what the problem is, it's the keyboard, the last 2 set perms. I'll take them off with keyboard files and re upload with the keyboard in a flash able zip file

Actually, it does work, when you connect to the pc you must go to settings, storage and turn on the storage connection, I don't think in xperia roms you can do it from status bar, anyway I'll look for a short cut because I noticed too

nice rom, fast, sleek,
what doesn't work for me is that there are no sound enhancements under settings only clear audio!!
usb mount is a pain please find a shortcut.
using this rom currently - battery drain is another issue for me at the moment, will do a full charge and check.
EDIT: DAMNNN YOU NOOBY _ YOUR ROM ROCKS, JUST PLAYED TEMPLE RUN 2 & SUBWAY SURFER they run superb no lags, no mods added at all, only changed the font as it didn't look good on the small font size.

Everything is working but there should be option to mount as mass media instead of stock MTP in next release.
I also has Error 7 in TWRP but it doesn't matter.

That problem with flash is being fixed right now, it's the keyboards fault, this evening or tomorrow a new build will be up without that problem!
The keyboard needs to be flashed apart in a flashable zip :highfive:

SMS counts is also not working... What i mean is when we received a sms there is number shown in the message app icon so we know how much messages we received
if u fixed that we appreciate otherwise its cool without it

dont ktow if this is also a problem with all xperia roms .... or even if our phones are DLNA compatible or not ... the Movies app detects my computer but doesnt list the shared movies ..

Do I really need to be on stock Samsung ROM to flash this?

I'll give it a go. I love MIUI, had to drop it cause it was impossible to connect to my car bluetooth. I've been using CM instead and I now have in car bluetooth call/music. Wish this will work. Crossed fingers.

Been waiting for a 4.4.4 version, but why is the Multi Lang download only 468mb when the official Rom from the Miui site is 743mb?

So far so good. Good install, good network signal, wifi ok, google apps ok, miui cloud account working perfectly. MIUI again... Will test bluetooth later.

the official will be on a samsung base - this is cyanogen mod/aosp based version.
(i'll stand corrected on that one but im pretty sure that may be the reason)

I think the op is suggesting this as its the first thing you have to do with your phone before you ever get to flash any rom. being on an up to date baseband/modem would also stop the lte/wifi drop out issue from the old modems. Of course, most of us will already be rooted etc so we can skip straight to cleaning and flashing :highfive:

1.I just installed Titanium backup to install my apps, but when I open it up it tells me my phone is not rooted?
2. Could install the S4 Camera on this rom, I'm looking for a really good camera?

2. Select phone information
3. Change WCDMA preferred to LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)
i dont think it sticks after a reboot though.

Too early to tell yet. Seems reasonable so far - need time to test it though.

[MOD][MM][STOCK][ROOT][Z5 Series] Home APK, SystemUI Latest version

I want to share 2 edited APKs with you all as I am using them by myself for couple of days
I just downloaded the Home APK from APK mirror and decompiled it, edit some values, edited some images and recompiled it, signed it, and zip-aligned it.
Same goes for the SystemUI except I used the one from XZROM v 3.0 , so preedited credits goes to the respective ROM developers.
Home APK Features :
- No gradient anywhere , looks very clean and bright.
- Auto hide page navigation indicators
- "APPS" button changed to something beautiful (by my standard)
- App drawer is fully transparent.
- Based on latest Home version 10.2.A.1.0 and then changed to 10.2.A.1.0_CHINMOY32
- "Auto Rotate" and "Double Tap to Sleep" pre-selected in settings.
- Some animation optimization done, speed and fluency wised, you will be able to feel them while using.
- Thats all , I think

Instructions:
- First of all make a nandroid backup of your full system. (i.e. I am not responsible for any sorrow someone might feel)
- Copy the APKs to their respective folders inside the SYSTEM partition (must have root for that) using any decent file explorer (i.e. X-Plore)
- SET permission 644
- Clean Cache and Delvik Cache.
- Restart and you are all done.

Bro your file is not flashable .zip it is an .apk . I replace systemui from system/privateapp/systemui and give the right permission and restart

I know they are not flashable. But either way you need to clean the cache and delvik cache. It may seem like it is working without cleaning but after a while it will start to boot-loop. So clean 'em just to be on safe side of things
I cant give you odexed , but you can always copy them to their respective places and delete the "OAT" folder and make them work in your odexed ROM.
