[Launcher] VistaLauncher V1.2 updated! again!

i design a Launcher based on Vista Aero (200dpi)

you can download it here if you like but i will create a better one soon!

is this only installed thru adb? I installed the normal way it says installed(astro) but there is no changes..pardon my noob retardness...

It's a system protected file, so astro can't install it. Push through ADB, it's easier

anyway to use terminal to install

Very nice launcher.

Let's say I don't have adb....
i used su.fb app and moved the launcher to system/app and tried installing it there..I lost my home button and still no changes...tried jus moving it there ..and a reboot and I got black screen..wiped n flashed now I'm back to square 1 is it even possible to make the changes with the su.fb app??

i just put it in a theme the flashed give me a link to your desire rom and i put it in for you so the only thing you do is install new update

Would this launcher work on 3.9.10?

I flashed the 1.2 full rom, after the setup it went into a blank screen. When i press the end button, and pressed it again i can see the lockscreen. When i unlock my phone it just goes back to the black screen.

I've put together The best of themes I like and this is the result. Note, that most of graphics aren't my work, say thanks to authors of themes listed bellow!
Tested only on Doc's Froyo JPA as zip update using Clockwork recovery! And users reports no problems on Doc's JPO ;-)

Tested on my JPO Doc Kalpic, works perfect. Nice combo you did there.
Although I would've loved to see some transparency on the notification pulldown.
EDIT: Also, ANDRODena's lock screen looks nicer

Will try this later, but looks epic.
Never really liked batt version C, would you be able to make a D version? Also +1 on the lockscreen, if you could add androdenas one that would be great!

Simply using Clockwork recovery (included in Doc's rom), select install zip from sdcard... very easy, I recommend Doc's Froyo 7.5, it's master rom with latest goodies!

Is there anyway to get the notifications from grey to black or white? The grey looks a bit crap lol

I just tried it on Docs 7.6. Its nice. Very nice work of compiling the best of other themes. I appreciate the work.It would be great if you could make the notification pull-down as transparent. Other than that its awesome.

Yes, I want to do that, but I can't find that damn grey png :-( today will be available new version with stock lockscreen, extended power menu, improved icons, etc. ;-) stay tuned

I will wait for it. But i dont want stock lockscreen. I love the Stock glass screen lock from samsung. It looks awesome and simple.

Could you be more specific how to install this?
When i copied the .zip file to my internal SD i "bricked" me phone so i had to reinstall 2.2 with an kernel that had clockworkmod recovery and root so i could reflash my old ROM.
when installed the .zip file my phone just didn't want to reboot. So could you write a little how to? That would help me a lot

Buddy you just have to flash it via CWM recovery just like you flash other things.Just put the .zip on internal sd and flash it. I have tested it on Docs JPO v7.6 with no problems. Its working flawlessly.

iM GUESSING it is compatinle with the CDMA Version of Mike ROM correct? i didnt think it would matter, But i figured i'd ask anyway. Looks awesome man!!!

Thanks for this theme but I have a issue with the battery button.
My battery is on 85% atm but in statusbar it's not changing, still 100%.
My Rom: Android Open Kang Project - maguro Milestone 2.

you have disabled the % in the menu mileston2 ?

Was a bit busy. Didn't get to try it yet.. Gonna grab some lunch in 10 minutes and will try when I get back.
pff, just made a nandroid and wanted to flash when I found out the downloads are not available anymore.

ok cool.. I pulled the SystemUI.apk from my device; replaced the files in the archive and pushed it back which seems to work fine. Just done the files for the battery indicator for now but ofcourse it can be done for all other icons.
I don't think it would be very recommendable to flash the mod to any rom as it completely replaces the SystemUI.apk.
1. pull /system/app/SystemUI.apk from the device
2. Open in 7zip and overwrite the icon files of choice
3. Push the file back to /system/app/SystemUI.apk
needless to say.. --!BACKUP!--

4eXT Recovery Theme

Hi i made a theme for 4ext recovery for the desire s and should work just fine with the desire coz both have same resolution 480x800. Its called IcySense5 coz its all sense 5 icon png files which were a balls to find and resized them all and it has ICS colors. Took me ages + bout 20 trial and errors making build prop but i got there. Hope u like it.
Credits to marc2040 and T-Macgnolia for all the help before.

Download the zip file to ur sdcard then boot recovery and flash it. IF u dont like it, just boot recovery, go to tools und uninstall theme. if theme does'nt load, go to tools/reload theme

Yh im gona change things later, but mine is ment to be like that coz its ics with the blue n black and with sense 5 icons. Now that iv got all the colors right, changing some png files will be easy. So il try urs later i must change that spinner to, looks out of place lol

That was the plan, i dont like aosp roms to be honest, i just made this theme coz thought people might like it with thier kitkat rom.

Hi there, maybe wrong thread, but could someone upload 4ext 1.0.0.6 RC1 ? I tried both recovery control and recovery updater app and both of them point me to the earlier 1.0.0.5. Thanks in advance.
