hello guys where can I find the Rom for xperia play in this video?
it's fantastic for me
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci3oHUPT9BQ&feature=youtu.be
That is not a Rom actually. That is a launcher.
And that launcher is called ssLauncher. I'm using it right now, and I love it. It's able to be completely customized, but you have to do it all yourself, or find a theme from somewhere.
and where I find this launcher? as it is called? thanks
Search the Play Store for ssLauncher.
It's a launcher
TLR Theory doesn't flash roms and stuff, it just a launcher.

I was wondering that the "goto" launchers are and whats the difference between them all? I cant find ish on them, except screenshots etc. No threads dedicated to them, as in what each one does etc.
I also have the same question. I think I kind of have an idea but not 100% sure if they're anything more than eye candy...?
I use GO Launcher.

I hear that, but why? Just more options? smoother? Does the launcher help smoothen things out? And this one is the one you have to pay for, right?
I like ADWLauncher EX. There is a free version of ADWLauncher which is good also. I like them because of the options and the amount of themes both paid and free. I bought EX and have never regretted it. Only $3.99 on the market and adds many many options to ADW. Try the Free version by searching Anderwebs in the market. Then search ADW themes to find themes available for ADW. Also play with the ADW settings and stuff to get familiar with what all you can do with it. I also like launcherpro. There is a free version of it as well, but no matter what home replacement app I try I always go back to ADW because of the customization, low memory use, speed and smoothness of it.

These.are just choices we have like the choice to.root or not. LauncherPro has some nice themes and Sense like features. Hey you can load them all up and.check them out and see which ones you like. ADW themes are ok as well.

Hello,
I am a noob to android coming from wm6.5 and blackberry. I have been browsing the homescreen thread and would like to learn how to get my phone to look as great as the ones i have seen. is there a tutorial available or is it more so trial and error? when i see some of the screen details in the thread, it's like a foreign language to me.
TIA
Steve
Welcome to Android. Its much easier than you think. Some will be trial and error to get something just how you like it. Some is as easy as changing the launcher you use and applying themes. There are also tons of apps like desktop Visualizer, folder organizer, circle launcher, and many more that you can use to customize the look and feel of your device. You can also install different clocks or lockscreens and if you have rooted your phone and flashed a de-odexed rom you can use some of the themes you see posted here. My best advice is for you to look through "post your homescreen" type threads. Most people will list what apps they use and may share icons or wallpapers too. Use Google and Android Market to learn what some of those apps do. Many are free or very inexpensive. You could also look at the sticky posts in this thread, forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=527 for some more about theming. There is really no right or wrong, just do what you like and make your phone your own. Good luck.

Do you have root? Do you have a rom also? Which rom are you running? If you do not have root I recommend using zedomax's v3 root kernal to root.
No, i'm running completely stock for now. I was able to customize my homescreen using go launcher, simple text and WP clock that wil hold me over for a little while. I tried posting an image, but my noon status won't let me.

Hello Pals,
Not a real problem, just a question.
This is my new configuration:
- Firmware R800i_4.0.2.A.0.62_phoenixvendor
- LuPuS STOCK ICS&GB
- Hybrid Rom v.1.0 by Kris Dee
I have to say that my device really goes great so, meanwhile, this may become an advice to whoever is looking for the best configuration for Xperia Play.
Here is my question:
Since the rom comes VERY light, just the essential (e.g. not even MAPS, you have to download it if you want, and I like it), I had to download the Xperia PLAY games launcher, sometimes it doesn't start when you slide the phone but it doesn't matter.
Any idea where I can find Bruce Lee (I loved it so much) and the playstation suite with Crash Bandicoot?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but it was a long time I didn't come here.
See Ya
When you were on stock firmware you should of backed them up. Search google

I'm sorry if this is the wrong place but which themes can i use on my N5 with 4.4.3? If any i would also like so reccomendations.
If this is the wrong place i will delete it.
For what I know (and tested) you can install any AOSP theme. There is a couple on the Play Store.
just google CM11 theme, there are a TON of them here on xda, there are some on Google Play, and CM has a theme showcase app on Play Store.
As the title says, I've made the switch to HavocOS. I love it except for the default launcher. I was actually starting to just get used to app drawer in Miui. But I felt need to see what else is being developed for for my rn5p.
I need some suggestions on open source, free with configurable options. I don't need anything crazy like prime or what have you. Something simple but enough customization, clean and to the point.
Everything I have found I am not found of, nor was it free. Any suggestions would be alright, alright, alright.
Its Heineken, not Heineken't.
Lawnchair v2
Find apk and install it. On playstore its only version 1 use Google.
Ok, they just launched lawnchair v2 on play store.
