Is there any ICS ROM which has not been themed at all? I tried Racing's UCLD2 ROM but all the icons are grey. Is there any non themed ICS ROM? Or is there a TouchWiz ICS Theme that I can flash over the ICS perfection ROM? Would really appreciate some help. Never thought I'd say this but stock Android gets boring really quick.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1573649This is a very clean version of stock all it would need is the auto rotation fix
100% stock including kernel? No.

Jedi Mind Trick seems to be very stable and a lot of people like it. I think at this point many of the ICS roms are pretty solid. If you want an AOSP based rom I would go with AOKP. Search around in the dev forum and see if anything catches your eye.

Depends on what your requirements are for best. Are you aiming for an S2 that's better than a stock S3 or a super debloated S2 that is absolutely quick or something that you can theme everything? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Is the stock s3 ROM stable with everything working at this point? If not, I'd go for am s2 that's quick and light. Thanks

Most Roms I've found here are based on T-Mobile base and work great but I've been longing for a tweaked Telus-based Rom for my T989D. The result was the following Rom:
-Removed Touchwiz Launcher and replaced with Apex Launcher
-Numerous tweaks to build.prop
-Rooted, Deodexed, Zipaligned
-Busybox
-Numerous init.d scripts
-CPU Sleeper Script (Thanks to eugene373)
-Google Now (Thanks to cajunflavoredbob)
I will be slowly evolving this as I learn more about Rom making and get a chance to talk to some more experienced devs (such as 14-toggle, etc.).
You can download it here:

If you have any questions feel free to ask but keep in mind I'm a complete newbie. Suggestions are welcome!

Personally, I haven't really studied the difference between the two versions. I do find that the Telus base is more stable on my T989D though.

Completely understandable, the truth is I put this up to speed up the learning process through criticism and advice . Yes it is rooted, I will update the description.

For now, I am running stock Telus Rom. I rooted my phone, and flashed TWRP 2.2.2 Recovery. There are so many ROMs for this phone I have a problem choosing the right one But I will definitely be waiting for this one!

social hub
is the social hub included in the rom? And by the way, the best one I have tried:good:
Thank you that's very generous. I'm afraid the hubs aren't included, however, it would be a simple matter of adding the apk to the system/app since I have not messed around with the framework that makes the Samsung apps work.

Its too bad that telus released the 4.0.3 ics, dont understand why koodo got 4.0.4 because telus owns koodo?! weird
i just rooted my phone and i'm ready to install a custom rom, what i basically want is a debloated with touchwiz rom, additional features/options would be better
The one you get after searching lol, but seriously just look in the Dec section not og dev, the other one and then just read. I suggest something of DjIntrigue

Seems like in general if you want good battery life go with a near-stock ICS rom, frosty is a good one but there are several to choose from. I'm currently trying serenity 1.2 LITE right now, it's pretty nice so far but I've only been using it a few hours.
After finally getting rooted yesterday (woohoo!), I flashed Stock sX v3.0. Awesome.

I would try anything from Wildchild. He mods stock ROMs both ICS and JB and they work great. I'm running the Xquizit xD v31(JB) and couldn't be happier. You can find it in the gs3 development forum.
Battery life is good and v 31 comes with all the tools you might need. You can also flash the Kitchen v 10 with it to customize your ROM.

Temporary do to someone stealing his work and it is a downer in general, besides we are on the verge of Official JB. So no point in spending so much time working on a rom that will be rebased and redone all over.

Coming from the s2 and loving Shostock, what is the closest Rom to it on the s3?
Also, I like a blue theme. What is the closest to john Mc's blue theme?

Shostock is really just stock with mods and multi window. I suggest you try csrom thabmb. Never version coming soon. I'd say some others but aren't quite a stable IMO. Devil rejects is nice too..or flash anything and find what you like

There are a lot more stock based ROM's here than the i777. SHOStock was about the only one for the i777, and luckily it's an awesome one.
There isn't an "official" or international 4.1.2 like there is for the i777 jst ports of Spint's and Verizons. If you don't care about multiwindow I suggest what I did before but if you want to try a port then try Jelly 'beans' for more customization and Dandroid for am awesome AOSP themed ROM.
Losers ROM or Devils Reject have a great community like Shoman's and they are teaming up for a new one soon as well. So in order words you have a ton to choose from and with morphology (in themes and apps sections) you can create your own theme anyway on most stock ROM's.
Welcome and enjoy your stay
I too came from shostock 2-3 on my s2 and right now im running that rom on my s3 I just got and is running good no problems

Another favorite rom could be incoming, no eta ofc but this is great news for those that love the aosp themed debloated tw roms. Beanstown has ported his rom to the sprint note 2 before when he had the Verizon note 2 (something I rocked forever after and not looking back). Anyways just a heads up and something very much to look forward to!
Tho i do think it's already possible to just flash the Verizon rom and use compulsion kernel to fix any hiccups, Main thing you don't wanna do is flash any other carrier rom with the radio (modem.bin) built inside, which beans does not include in his rom. Since US edition is the same thru out this is possible, just would need to flash your carrier kernel after the rom.
