Please help????

my phone wont start again after i flashed that Rom, its for Gt-I9100 International version, they phone wont boot at all, and when i plug it to the usb the computer ask me to install: QHSUSB_DLOAD.
Please any help

You flashed an i9100 rom?!!?! I'm blown away. Why...why...why? Why in god's name would you do that? We have completely different hardware, of course your phone won't boot. Dude...

There's a really good chance you're hard-bricked.
As a warning to other people out there who are just starting to do this stuff. DO NOT THINK THAT BECAUSE YOU HEARD SOMEWHERE THAT IS IS EASY THAT YOU CAN DO IT WITHOUT READING OR LEARNING ANYTHING. We here at XDA are all for helping people but this OP clearly did not read about flashing, read about what our phone is compared to the international version, or even do a search before posting this because then he would know how to attempt to get it into download mode and odin new firmware onto the device. We're not your personal, 24-hour tech support. If you want that, do not expect us to do it for free. If you genuinely want to learn about things and want someone to teach you how to fix something you did wrong, we'll be happy to do that. I'm going to repeat this one more time for effect:

But its very important we dont flash software from other phones. This phone is different than any other Samsung and GS2 out there. You can often recover a phone if you flash the wrong rom, apparently that will not be the case on this phone..
If you cant get into recovery or dl mode theres no chance of a recovery. Sorry. Recovery can be accessed by pulling the battery, putting it back in, holding volume up and down and power all at the same time. Release the power button while continuing to hold both volume buttons ONLY if the samsung logo pops up. If nothing, try dl mode. That is done by pulling battery, putting it back in. Hold volume up and down while inserting the usb cord. If it does nothing your pretty much sol.

this is my first android phone and you best believe that i would rather be put in a sweat box with 10 sumo wrestlers and have to clean and floss some ass before I flash add rom or anything else that has to do with rooting this phone that didnt have t989 in it or that wasn't confirmed by plenty of devs... just saying dont really understand how someone thats been a member for over a year and has cleary had years of exp with andriod phones would do this..... unless hes about 13 yrs old and wanted to run around his school saying i got mine rooted i got mine rooted..

You are hard bricked. Needs a non existent jtag to repair. Pray that connexion learns to unbrick them.

Dude....., there is good chance you hard bricked your phone your only option is (JTAG).

I flashed a kernel using the mount point for epic touch. Not sure which partition it actually flashed to but as soon as it flashed the phone shutdown and wouldnt do anything. Part of trying to get things going here we now know the right partition to flash a kernel too just working on the path.

Idk if someone already mentioned this but try this:
1.Pull battery out
2.Download Odin 1.85 or above
3.Install drivers
4.Open Odin.exe
5.Put your battery back in to the phone
6.While holding both volume keys, plug the USB in and if your phone goes into.download mode then you are set and can pick up all the stock stuff and flash it via Odin.
And if that doesn't work then you will need a jig to get into download and I dnt knw if someone had made one yet or not.

Goodluck.. I had my first hard brick long time ago when I flashed my moto razr with the firmware for moto razr v3i.

this is rhetorical by why even reply to someone's stupidity its plain and simple all it takes is a little bit of ****ing reading! jesus christ! topics like this annoy the crap out of me and should be deleted ! im not cool with helping someone that doesn't help themselves first sorry !

I wouldn't be so quick. Difficult and unexpected situations happen to all of us I am sure.
From the original post, I think OP may have an international version of the SGS2, and flashed the T989 Rom. He's just looking for a way back.

i understand that! ive bricked a phone because i DIDNT READ. and even then i still didnt make a topic of it ... i tried every way possible to recover, when that didnt work i took the phone back. Seriously if you can type you can obviously read. trust me it helps.

I fell victim to the famous brick! Flashed an i9100 rom to my T989 (yeah noticed now thats the damn model) restarted cwm and now cant turn on...
Any help???? thanks!

Um think u might be out of luck seeing that u just got it u might want to take it back and see if u can get it replacement

Why cant you boot it into download mode via ADB and flash is back to stock with ODIN?

Wrong section to post a question in... Sorry to say but you're screwed like everyone else that did the same as you and posted the same topic a hundred times... Best bet is to try and get a warranty or ins change and tell them it just stopped working.. Good luck

NVM wrong post...

Happen to me...i bought a USB jig, because i could not boot into download mode...it did not work. so j tried everything under the sun and i sent it back to T-Mobile and told them that it just went out and they sent me another for 5$ because i had insurance. since the phone would not boot with the jig they could not see that i had rooted it..

It's been posted before, if you flash from the International s2 your screwed! No way around it, feel for you my man.

I wouldn't say you fell victim to being bricked. More like you failed to read the explicit warnings about flashing ROMs from other devices.

The JIG tool will not work in this case. However, for a few bucks you can buy a JTAG tool and for sure you will fix it. However, to be used it's necessary some background to proceed things in a right way..
You can try eBay to find someone that offers the box service to fix your device. So if you don't have choices, I strongly advice you to try one of this options, because for sure the box can figure this problem out.

thats seems more complicated than properly flashing roms which gave birth to this thread. Just exchange it

sprint galaxy s3 Qualcomm secureboot enable

OK like the title says seems to be that the boot loader is locked .... I tried to Odin everything and nothing works it just fails idk what to do after this never had this issue on my other galaxy s3s I had about 4 of them so far or nor did I have this on my note 2 so if someone can help I'll appreciate it thanks

Except its not, samsung devices come with the bootloader unlocked. When using odin, use a thick, heavy duty cable, a blackberry one if you can get ahold of it.
Try different cables, different ports, and even a different computer

So keep trying and trying again and again lol ?? And I am using a blackberry cable now

Yup, I know sometimes it'll take 5+ tries before it actually goes through. All drivers are installed and it shows up right? Just keep at it until it goes through, if not there are flashables in the dev section that'll take you back to pure stock

Yea I am stuck on stock n I hate it and yea all drivers are good and everything . I'll guess I'll be up all night trying to root thanks tho
As soon as i switched to my laptop with vista it did it in one shot looks like odin doesn't like windows 7 or windows 8

[Q] Here goes nothing..... 99% sure I hard bricked my phone. Any suggestions..

Well, I was just another idiot to root my phone without knowing what I was doing. I know, you guys get a million of these a day from some idiot who decided "Hey, rooting should be fun". The rooting process was rather simple and I accomplished it quite easily. Well, when I went to flash my rom my phone restarted during the process and has been blank ever since. I lost I am not able to enter into download mode or recovery mode-- the only sign of life that I have had from my phone is a red light when it is plugged in via usb without the battery.
When I connect my phone via usb my computer chimes as though the phone is connected, but picks it up as: Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008
Odin does seem to pick it up but either gets stuck in setup connection when I have attempted to flash my stock rom, or gives me an error saying that it can't open the serial port.
When I attempt to go into download mode while connected via usb the computer also makes a connect and disconnect noise (I do realize that I should be attempting download mode before connecting to my usb, it was just one of the many things that I have tried)
I have read over various forums, found numerous possible outcomes, and I am just about at my wits end. I comprehend that my phone is probably a goner and that jtag may be my only option. Writing here was my very last resort, but I just don't see any other option.
I have a at&t Samsung Galaxy S3 SGH-i474 which originally was running android 4.1.2.
Odin 1.85 seems to be the only version that works properly for me.
Any information would be fantastic & I don't mind the harsh criticism. I take full responsibility for my stupidity, but I have learned quite a bit along the way...

I have same phone and used a USB jig to get to download mode.I was stuck at Samsung logo. Got a gig on ebay for cheap.

If you can't get in to DL mode, you will need a JTAG

That's one of my main issues.... I went through and deleted my files and I can't find the original rom I tried to flash. I know it was for ParanoidAndroid.
I am fairly certain I messed up my bootloader.

Are you SURE it was for D2ATT?

Jig doesn't do a damn thing :crying: I ordered an older HTC inspire off of ebay to use for the time being... but I think the little voice in the back of my head that said "You need to upgrade to the s4" must have had something to do with bricking my phone. I don't even know if I want to go through the hassle of jtaging... I am slightly wondering if AT&T would take it due to the fact that it's only a few months old.

They might, but at this point, its either a new phone, or JTAG I'm sorry! But...on the bright side...my old phone was the HTC inspire! Its got sense 5, And 4.3 ROMs! I loved that damn phone...till I dropped it while on the charger, and the USB port broke but you could even stick with that for a while if you had to. The ONLY downside to that phone is the battery. So, when you get the phone, head on over to the "HTC DESIRE HD" forums and try it out. ( all desire HD ROMs are 120% comparable with inspire 4g...no dev in inspire 4g forums)

Head over to the Sprint S3 forums here and there is actually a boot image they have linked throughout the pages so it can at least get into download mode. Fairly easy process it seems like, I am currently bricked myself but I have the US Cellular variant S3 but no one has the boot image I need to write to my sd card via Ubuntu. They have the boot images for T-Mobile, Sprint and I am quite sure ATT as well. Good luck!

Thanks so much for all of the awesome information! I am completely lost without my phone. I am a writer, and I get all of my notifications and emails via my phone and I feel like I've been stuck to my CPU lately. Hopefully the inspire will work out of me for the time being. I am going to have to get used to the fact that the phone only has a rear face camera as well. My little guy loves to take his own picture so he'll have to adjust. Appreciate the help!

I have a question for you that maybe you'll have an answer to and maybe you won't. I did receive my HTC so everything with my galaxy now is basically just a test, but I do miss the phone! Alright, so I downloaded qpst and when I plug my phone in via usb it shows up as "Phone In Download Mode". I thought this was odd, and was wondering if maybe it is stuck in download mode? If you don't have any ideas, that's completely fine. But if you do, please share them with me. My goal is become proficient and I know I will achieve it either way Thanks so much...

Try to use Odin, to flash the stock ROM. Some people have reported black download modes.

This is the debrick image used to write to the micro sd card. Again, you may want to read through the forum to fully understand the process. Here's the link to the devrick image, it is for the Sprint Galaxy 3.

You should know... that if I could possibly kiss you and ask you to marry me on the spot... I would! I followed the steps, found my boot image via google, and got my phone back in action! I seriously screamed when I saw the charge icon appear after I plugged my phone in. If you can find your image you should!

Need help rooting and recovery willing to pay! Please read thanks

So I recently bought a HTC one x the evida on and I want to root and be able to flash Roms onto it I am very good with rooting and flashing stuff to phones but have never done it with an HTC and was up all night last night messing with it and got nowhere. Tonight its sitting next to me staring at me and I just wanna be done with it lol so I have teamviewer installed on my computer and am willing to pay someone to just do it real quick for me if you don't know what teamviewer is I can explain or you can google it. I really would like to get this done tonight and get you some extra holiday cash! Thanks guys!

You don't need someone else to do it for you, it's pretty easy. Start by explaining exactly what you've attempted. Also your bootloader details. And the variant that you have (at&t, Rogers, Telstra).

I know I really don't need someone to do it for me but I am having a real difficult time doing it it is about evita One X AT&T I have followed every single guide for every single tool kit that there is on xda for this device and for some reason it will do the whole thing where I can reboot it into the bootloader via fastboot but whenever I try to get the token to enter into HTC Dev it will not bring up a token and continuously says waiting I have all necessary drivers installed onto the computer I have actually tried two different computers numerous different USB ports and cords and nothing as to why I posted this thread telling me that I will pay someone lol
