Ewonder case w/ bt keyboard, anyone try it? - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Accessories

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...VW5_3?ie=UTF8&m=A2ZATBG5IJYVW5&n=&s=&v=glance
Just ordered that off amazon, how is it? Has anyone tried it?
I'm also looking to get a screen protector but not sure which one to get. I want one that doesn't change the feel of the screen at all like the mybat brand does on my galaxy s2.

I have it, and I'll be honest at first I was a little concerned, it looks and felt cheaply made at first site, but once I put in the tablet and I got it working it works great. I tend to forget to turn the keyboard off for days at a time and it still holds a charge days later. I haven't had any issues with the connection, the placement of the apostrephe key is a little odd, but other than that I love it.
---------- Post added at 02:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:02 PM ----------
Oh and the "stand" version if it is okay, but I prefer to lay down and/or sit so I have to hold my legs a little funny sometimes. You can't charge it while it's standing or closed though, that's a little dissapointing.

1. It's a good keyboard for the price.
2. There is a little ghost key problem.
3. It's a silicon keyboard.

ALL white Vibrant official OEM w/ SILVER BEZEL

so i Finally got some time of work in my office to post images of my white vibrant, I did conversion myself so back battery cover, middle part that covers board AND Silver bezel, it looks so nice with ics 4.0.4
it did took some serous effort to replace bezel but it was worth it, you just have to be very careful with it.
here are the images of it
Looks pretty nice. Are you going to do anything to the front? Like make it white also or leave it the way it is. Either way it looks great. :good:
looks beautiful. Great job!
Thanks guys actually I am thinking of selling my vibrant on eBay and adding some cash for white sgs2 or nexus is 400 now ...don't know what to do

they sell a white front part for this phone on ebay.i dont remember who it was that bought one or was thinking about buying it, but there was an argument here that it would be impossible to separate the glass from that part without destroying it. it would look nice though.
pictures always make phones look bigger lol
Nice!

I was holding back for one, I want one either all clear or the actual pebble blue colour (blue/silver streaks) and this seems the closest by looking at the link.
i'm not sure if it's a full coverage, even if it's 1-2mm off the edge, it's fine with me, as long as it's the stated colour, as it should look OK.
BTW i made the last purchased.
He relist them just now. I went ahead and purchased one. Recently bought the DBA real class feel platic screen protector, pretty disappointing, rainbow streak and only cover the display portion...oh well lesson learned, hopefully this will be much better
Looks like the glue is only on the edges like on the SGP. Can anyone confirm?

I can't comment on the proximity issue, this protector is clear, no dot's, that xgear failed sample, and because this screen protector is adhesived with the whole screen, i'm sure it's ok with sensitivity, but let just wait and see for the actual item once we get it.
I thought the protector has a blue cutout similar to the Spectre one? Guess we'll find out soon enough, from the pictures on Ebay, the pebble blue cutout look the most like OEM color (blue with silver streaks)

if you look at the one of the diagram, the one with a star pointing to the screen, you can read the first one as full attachment..
edit:
when I say clear, I mean the screen part without dot, sorry for the misunderstanding.
I actually would prefer it if this product does not cover the screen entirely. I am currently using the Spigen Neo Hybrid case and it does cover the edge of the screen a little.

[Q] Slide out keyboard & integrated case

I have a few of my users (yes IT manager here) asking if there is a physical keyboard for the s3 that is integrated with a case. They want the equivalent of this:
http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-thin-Sliding-Bluetooth-Keyboard-iPhone/dp/B0054KMWF2/ref=sr_1_3
They all know that any bluetooth or keyboard can work with it, they just wanted an integrated version as they prefer a bulkier s3 vs separate items.
I've looked around a bit and couldn't find anything, does anyone know where I might be able to find one? Or perhaps know a company that is making one now?
Thanks!
There are none :/

I've often wanted something like this when I need to answer a bunch of emails when I'm out and about. There are a bunch for iphones, but I've yet to see one to fit an Android device. It seems like if any phone would get one, the GSIII might. I've also wondered why nobody can seem to make the slider keyboard with an interchangeable TPU case to fit different models.

On eBay I came across this,
it's not really fit like the slider you mentioned though.
You know why you can't find one?
because it would make the camera useless, and severely diminish the speaker.
no-one has made a small enough keyboard to not cover them. the closest anyone has gotten is that computer generated render, in the previous posts that is not for sale.
it WILL happen.. just wait.

That's neat, but i wonder if the "hinge" can hold itself up
---------- Post added at 02:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:43 PM ----------
maybe someone needs to make a Gameklip-style thing, but for holding these micro-bluetooth keyboards (patent pending )
What would seem more practical and allow use of everything is the keyboard folding down. When it is closed laying against the screen with a flap or something separating keyboard and screen. You works have a full keyboard and since Bluetooth the keyboard could be used with other phone with the same case. Any case makers watching here... do it live. I've thought about it for over a year. I also have a good idea for amplifying phone speakers with battery any bulk. It works to made myself one.

It probably will (the hinge) hold, got a case from ebay and it was daaamn tight, surprisingly, it is still holding pretty good.

Like these?... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trk...kw=galaxy+s3+keyboard+case&_sacat=0&_from=R40
The only concern I'd have about these is that they seem to just have a "soft" hinge (ie. just the material), so it probably wouldn't support itself. Something like this would be great though if it was a hard case (think Nintendo DS), as it would protect the screen when closed.

Not a good answer, but you can get a simple OnTheGo USB cable, and plug any USB keyboard in. Handy if you are going to do a lot of work on the phone. Not that you would carry a USB keyboard around.
FYI ele-boat says it'll be available for purchase November 10th.

iFace Anti-shock Case

What do you guys think?
Here's a link to the shop on ebay: Link.
I'm looking for something a little stylish in design and came across this.
I'm trying to favor Form over the actual function of a case. I'm almost tempted to get this one, but I wanted to see what others had as an opinion on it.
This case looks very similar to the iOttie Macaron case (see here)
If it is similar to that case as in feel and fit for the phone then I will buy this case immediately. I loved my iOttie for my iPhone 5 when I had it.

I got my case in the mail over the weekend. I'll post pictures later.
Overall, it's very nice. The grip feels very good in the hand, and the case itself makes a perfect fit around the phone. The buttons aren't too tight like I've seen on other cases, but they make good enough contact that they work with every press. I'd even go as far as saying that pressing the buttons in the case feel more tactile than pressing the buttons on the phone itself.
My one complaint has to do with the rounded back. Oftentimes when I'm at restaurants or sitting at my desk, I'll set my phone on the table to use it. The rounded back makes the touch screen awkward to use as the case tends to slide the phone around a bit, or spin in place. I'd also gripe that the "iFace" logo is upside down when the phone is in proper landscape mode for camera use. No big deal though.
I got my case in the Android shade Lime-green color, but it comes in many different colors.
Also, Shipping took exactly two weeks for me, but YMMV.

It's not a whole lot to look at, but hopefully it helps. Excuse the orange paint stains on my kitchen counter. It's really bothering me in these pictures.
The back. Ample enough protection for the camera lens.
Spoiler
I really like the rounded contours along the perimeter of the phone. it feels good in the hand. It's got a soft rubbery grip. I actually nearly dropped my phone while taking one of these pictures, luckily for the grip...I managed to catch it in time.
Spoiler
The space for the MicroUSB and 3.5mm jack: Could be a bit tight for some, but works for all of my cords. My largest USB has quite a snug fit.
Spoiler
EDIT:WHELP, spoiler tags don't work like I assumed. Also, If you notice the ruler in the background, I was going to try and get some measurements, but a paper ruler doesnt do me very good when trying to figure out a difference between a couple milimeters. As far as thickness goes, the case doesn't even add a full milimeter. The sides are a bit of a different story, due to the rounded edges.
iFace case is strongly recommended for the Optimus G. It is very good quality with excellent grip.
Here is a link;
iFace first class Optimus G case
I've had a number of....accidental drop tests. This is truly a great case. The rubber bump-edge really does an excellent job protecting from falls. These aren't just little baby falls either, for instance, last night, my poor little phone fell from my hand, about 5 feet onto hard brick flooring. I've yet to acquire a single scratch anywhere on my phone!

[Q] Galaxy Death Note 8.0

Hi,
I've been playing latlely with my galaxy note 8.0 wich by the way is the best tablet I've ever used and notice that is very slipery.
I have never dropped it or anithing so before it happens I decided to use some magic spell on it called protecturum griporum Plasti dip!!!... anyway, the question is:
Do you think it would damage the tablet over time?? heating or something else??
So far so good, no noticeable overheating or signal looss, it is indeed A LOT grippier. it is the first try so I didnt take to much time with the masking tape nor painting the logo, If it happens to be no problem whit it and I find it realy apealing, I will remove this coat and apply 3 coats of plasty dip and paint the logo using a stencil or something (sugestions?).
Anyway please post your comments, here some pics:
Is it clear, looks like you started with a black/brown Note. Did it make the Note less slippery. Will be interesting to see how it holds up over time.

Yea! It made it a lot less slippery, much secure to hold and set on surfaces where previously it would feel like sliding off or damaging the shiny white plastic.
I got the Galaxy note 8.0 in eBay for a reasonable price and the plasti-dip can was a gift from a friend who used it to protect some bicycle parts and got some to spare, I’m nor really sure where did he buy it but I guess plastidip.com is a good start.
It been two days and heavy usage of the tablet, no overheating o performance issues whatsoever so I would say it’s a safe procedure, will try the 3 coats and possibly vinyl logo in a few weeks.:good:
Cheers!!!

:| I have no clue... I mean the can isn’t very clear, it doesn’t say anything about the dry product, although it says the regular: keep off from eyes or skin and vapors inhaling and the sort, but every paint can says something similar so... Anyway it’s a great question so I checked in plasti-dip official page and found:
"Is Plasti Dip® safe to use on children's toys, animal containment, and/or on kitchen utensils?
Plasti Dip® does not contain any heavy metals, and when completely dry, is considered harmless. However, it is not recommended that it be used on items that may be chewed or inserted into the mouth as it may present a choking hazard."
I’m hoping this is accurate cause I like the feeling of the Death Note 8.0 and I have already plasti-dipped my keyboards hand rest and mouse hahaha... let’s keep researching.
If I find something significant I’ll keep you posted.
Thanks for the feedback
