[REQ]/[PORT] MIUI Themes/Lockscreens/Theme Manager

Searched if there already was this kinda topic here, and it wasn't.
Is it possible to get the MIUI Lockscreens ported to our beloved SGS2?

They look REALLY AWESOME and I would die for this on my SGS2.
Anyone who can do some magic?
Would gladly donate to the person who can/will port this, if possible

Thats the first ever bit of miui that I actually like. Nice find, hope someone ports them over.

Just download the mtz file and install(open) it. It will ask to install the theme.
To change/edit go to apps->themes->edit-theme->lockscreen
Works on my i9100 with MIUI 1.7.1 test31

I am on stock rooted rom. I assume it won't work on that?

No worries. This is a bit OT for this thread, sorry. But can you tell me short about the rom? Like are the battery times good? And can you chose danish language in the rom as well? Are the shortcuts in the lockscreens configurable?

Widgetlocker is a good alternative, its on the market and there are loads of miui slider down themes here on xda.
I will say it isnt free but well worth the money and works a dream on the sgs2

I already use Widget Locker as my lockscreen But I guess I have to look closer at the WL themes thread

yea the thread is a bit of a mess but worth the effort its like a bargain bin gotta dig through the crap to get to the goodies lol.

These locksccreen couldn't be ported. They havent been ported to any stock rom phone. They work for any MIUI port but not on stock.
Use widgetlocker if you want but I don't like having another apps running in background and thus consuming battery only to have a lockscreen. Plus wl could be incompatible with apps tracking the screen unlocked as so it isn't a real lockscreen (embedded in system) but an app that SIMULATES a lockscreen

Battery times seem alot better then stock (though i didnt charge > 8 times on stock, installed roms straight away. Batt. live seems to improve after first few charges)
The shortcuts are configurable only by changing its path in the xml of the lockscreen, not by MIUI interface.
For me, MIUI is the best rom for SGS2 atm...still waiting for CM tho

I know that it is possible to get a default lockscreen changed on the SGS II. Nitr8 SGSII ROM has the stock android lockscreen instead of Samsung, he advised me that you can use this old SGS thread and it works. As I'm a ROM cooker and not a themer and don't deal with frameworks, somebody else (Maybe a themer) can try it? thread on how to do it is here

Thanks for the info. I do the odd bit of xml changing for my themes. If its to do with xml maybe I stand a chance but if its smali I wouldn't know where to start, I think its time to do some reading and try and learn.
I would love to change this lockscreen. I'm going to try next week.
I don't like miui but I installed it on my desire just to try these lock screens and they are really nice.

[Q] A theme request

Hello all... Good morning ,Good evening and good afternoon. Just a simple request i wanted to ask. Could some one make an all transparent theme but input dragons in it. Like how the cyan dragon theme is. I tried it but i'm guessing the version is to old. I got the " it was necessary to remove it when upgrading to 3.0 gingerbread based recovery. I love sense 3.0 and 3.5. He had everything transparent. Even the dialer. I think people were transparent as well. Not trying to ask anyone to put there life in it. Just hoping someone will look at this and go sure. Thanks in advance.

[REQUEST] MIUI Power Control Widget

I was wondering if someone could port the MIUI Power Control Widget to AOSP or Stock Samsung Roms.
I think it looks really good. It has got the same function as the AOSP toggles but if you click the 3 dots, a bigger menu opens (see screens attached).

I've been asking this for a while in different forums but it seem to fall on deaf ears. I would like to see it replace the stock power control widget that you seem to get in all roms as the miui one look soo much nicer.

use mihome app from market, its only working with miui launcher

thanks mate but all I would like is the some help on how to extract the widget from mihome launcher app and add it to miui roms as I use the full Miui v5 for my phones. thanks anyway

Im not too sure if it is possible though because it may require the miui framework which has quite a few changes from aosp. If your interested, I have a section in my thread (link in sig) that has all (at least to my knowledge) MIUI ports to date.

hey thanks mate will have a read I'm currently using miui v5 from HERE
it's the unofficial miui v5 so as far as my thick skull knows with it's less than average knowledge of these things it should be compatible/work.
would I be right in thinking that getting the right xml files and graphics from the mihome launcher app and putting them into the rom somewhere e.g. framework-res.apk, frameworkmiui-res.apk or miuihome.apk should add the widget to the rom? or am I way off?

[Q] Transparent Status Bar

Hey guys, I've searched through the One X forum but had no success in getting answers or mods for this, so I hope it's okay to post this question.
Is it possible (I suppose it is, considering Sense based MIUI has it transparent) to make the status bar from Sense transparent without use of other launchers? I'd probably get some guts to try and do this on my own, but I haven't touched apk tool yet, not even once.

what rom are you using at the moment? are you stock? anyways depending on what you are using have you had a look in the themes and apps section? or even in the android development the thread by Master Dougi? he has some transparent statusbar mods so give him a shout

then yeah check in android development and check his mod thread....plenty of goodies in there mate

No success there either, checked out his threads, he offers one only for energize rom and is a rather old mod now.. but I did notice that on some of his and Vegetaleb's screenshots, they have the transparent/semi-transparent status bar.

[Request] G3 Tweaksbox stock Android lockscreen theme

Hello!
I can't be the only one who's a huge fan of the stock Android lockscreen! Therefore I'd like to ask if anybody have the time and is willing to create a lockscreen theme compatible with g3tweaksbox. I can offer a huge thank you in return.

I also really want this. After installing Tweaksbox this is the first thing I looked for to no avail
