Aren't you running a custom rom? Extract the modified build.prop from the custom ROM zip file.
Edit: Sorry, no computer? Missed that. Still would help to get the one for your rom.
If you have root explorer or zarchiver then you can browse and extract it from the ROM on your SD card. You wouldn't need a PC to do that if you have the ROM file on your SD.

Oh. you shouldnt flash any updates from chobitsdigitalis, when you are not in a custom deodexed rom (instructions are explicitly shown there). The MMS.apk is already deodexed, it will not work on stock unless you odex them back. What you need is the Odexed Stock mms.apk and the .odex extension file paste in your system/app set with proper permissions.

U need to root your device to use root explorer.
Or
Make your own cwm flashable zip.
Don't forget to press thanks

if it is a flashable zip, just use CWM and click the "install from sd card" option and choose the said zip. It will then replace your current stock mms apk
you can also try pushing (pasting) the stock mms apk i've provided using root explorer and set permissions to:
r-w
r
r
Install handcent and forget all these..

Is it possible for me to change a, . Exe file to a, . Zip file?
Generally, no. But I know 7zip ( http://www.7-zip.org/ )can extract the contents of many executables as if they were a zip. What is this for?
Generally no. But what do you need to do and I might try and help

It's probably not too wise to flash an .exe file to your phone. That's a windows executable file and this is Android.

Hey kingtnutt,
What are you trying to do with the .exe file? Do you need to extract it to pull files from it? More details would help.
If the .exe is a "self-extractor" it would probably work to change the extension to .zip and then extract it. It may not, though.

Ok, sounds like you have a self extractor. Follow the instructions here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1835033
Sounds like you're trying to install a One-click update.
There are instructions for installing via Mobile Odin here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1721229
See the 'Android Section'
sfhub and rwilco12 have done a bang up job of putting up detailed install instructions.
Take some time and really read throught the posts, watch Qbking77's videos and then re-read the posts AND follow ups. Or you could end up with a shiny fishing lure.
Why not use PC Odin? Especially if you're just starting out. Might save you loads of trouble.
Good luck

Unfortunately those one-clicks are compiled in such a way that they can't be extracted. You have two options to flash it, Odin or Mobile Odin.
Out of curiosity, why would you want to convert it to a ZIP?

K. The good news is that these one-clicks make flashing with a ZIP look almost impossible. You seriously plug your phone in and press the start button in the one-click and you're done (that's over-simplifying but you get the idea). Check out the instructions in the OP and it walks you right through it.
If you still want to use a zip Crawrj has the fh23 rom here

OP says a maybe to a future update on the rom for T-Mobile but I figured to see if someone here is willing to take a stab at it.

I have flashed AT&T touchwiz based roms before without issues. Im not sure if the same could be done with AOSP. I would say try it, but i dont want to be help accountable if your device implodes.
I just went ahead and just changed the update script. Flashed it and its working awesome so far. Guess mods can close this thread.

Open the rom zip navigate through Meta-INF>Com>Google>Android>then open up updater-script file. Change D2Att to D2Tmo. Done. Easier to do on a computer but possible to use with Rom Toolbox Pro.

I had unzip the roms and zip them back but after that recovery wont flash em. Is it because we need to zip them with notepad++?
By the way I have a similar thread and nobody seems to care to help on flashing that rom to tmobile. Would be nice if you help us do so too!

By recovery won't flash it do you mean it gives you a error and aborts? If so that usually means their is a error somewhere in the updater script

I do everything straight from my phone using ROM toolbox app. I just advised to use a PC so that you would not need to extract the Rom and just go straight to editing the update script file, but it can be done from our phones.
Really not that hard. Whatever ROM you have. The .zip file needs to be extracted then follow my steps one page back. Then use ROM toolbox to compress the extracted folders back to a zip then flash done.
Maybe I can make a picture guide but only if there is demand for it not going to waste my time if not.

So I can flash this rom with no changes and then I can do the changes with rom tool box! I understand about wasting your time. but If you make a good thread on how to do this and ask a mod to make it to sticky so people will have Ideas on how to flash a rom from att and letting people know that it really works. We have one like that for the S2 tmobile and skyrocket

Edit
scratch that Ktoonz AOKP ROM can be flashed without changing any thing to the files.
Thank you bro. Thats what we are here for to help each other lol. By the way Is that JellyBam after you changed the files. Have you ran into any bugs? How is the call quality and do you have echo?
just thought id share that i done exactly what g1master said and it worked flawlessly. all i had to do was change the d2att in the first lines to d2tmo and it worked fine. i used notepad++ to make the changed btw
Ok this is what I did. Unzip with winrar and did the steps from the op with notepad++ zip back with winrar and now that im trying to flash I get this

opening update package...
installing update...
installation aborted.

Edit... Did the same with 7-zip and recovery aborted too.

No I didn't, simply because inside the zip there is only the META-INF folder and nothing else. Am I missing something here? Does your zip only have that too, or another folder in there as well?

I don't think you're quite getting me. That zip file that you downloaded has no boot animation in it. It is essentially an empty zip file. So if you flash it via CWM nothing will happen.
