I rooted my Droid Incredible 2 today and installed Cyanogen mod 7 on it using these tutorials:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgIYFGcVimU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGEASn3v0v8
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtjUTFk4Njc
I've been trying to unroot it now, using this tutorial:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnlnWW8tsvo
But, once I get to the part at around 5:12 in the video, and hit "BOOTLOADER" on my phone, it scans for PG32IMG.zip but says "No image!". I need to unroot this so I can send it back to Verizon, please help ASAP.
Is PG32IMG.zip in the root of your SD card?

I ran into the same issue last night. It said the same when I tried to flash . I'm not sure what you wanted to do but I did end up flashing it through Rom Manager. Scroll down to Flash Alternate Recovery.(RA Recovery v2.3).

I ran that file and my phone seems to have returned to stock. Is that all I need to do? Just run that file? Can I send it back to Verizon like this? And, also, when I hold Vol Down + Power, I can't get into the recovery menu, the phone just boots up like normal.

That's exactly what that file will do. Return it to stock with stock recovery so you can return it if needed. Only thing it won't change is s-off/on status.

Absolutely.
This is what they would do at the Sprint store if they have to reset your phone.
Nothing to be afraid of.
only if ur s-off can check if it says s-off or s-on in your bootloader
nah u shouldnt be worried bro
Are you rooted and what method did you use? What did you do last that started the issues? You could just try to reflash a OTA rooted version check the DEV forums for one .

I am doing this the most ass-backwards way possible.
I do not have a USB-Micro USB cord. I am now transferring that large file via bluetooth to my Blackberry, where I switched the Micro CD Card out with my EVO. I also lost my Micro-SD adapter.
This whole ordeal has been one massive fail.
I'm about to pass out, but will update tomorrow.
Thanks!
Edit: Limited to 5 thanks per day? Well, until tomorrow, my verbal thanks will have to suffice gentlemen.

There are several different ways to go.
The quickest way (might not work and is just a temp fix) is to download, then unzip the zip file to EVO-RECOVERY folder on your computer. Boot the phone into RECOVERY (with the red triangle), then run the recovery-windows.bat file if you're running Windows on your computer and see does that do anything. Whether or not it works would tell me exactly how the phone was rooted.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38127313/EVO-recovery.zip
The phone is s-on, you're going to need to run unrevoked to gain s-off so you can flash a recovery. You can't flash any unofficial zips in hboot with s-on. Search for unrevoked and your hboot version to find the correct version of unrevoked to unlock the bootloader(hboot).

Toast Method 1 (only needed a PC36IMG file and a temp recovery) or the old Unrevoked (3.1 something, before unrevoked-forever was added). It did not need S-OFF for just flashing ROMs.

Good point. I rooted and S-off via toast right after launch. I guess if someone only did his first step it would look like that. Good point. Speaking of toast, I just threw up quotes of his latest post all over general subforum in all the threads where people are trying to decide if they want nexus or Evo LTE.
They locked the one X down like no tomorrow. Team win and toast can't get recovery to access USB for mount while in recovery. Making me lean nexus.

Did you ever try the EVO-RECOVERY download. No one said anything about pressing volume up and the power button. When you see the red triangle, do not do anything except run the recovery-windows.bat file on your computer (after extracting the files to the EVO-RECOVERY folder) to see if a recovery menu appears. I forgot to mention that the phone must be connected to the computer.
If that does not work, then you might want to go to the unrevoked site and follow their root instructions.

Perfect, the quickest way.
Download the attached files and place them on the root of your SD card.
Flash the unrevoked-forever from the temporary recovery menu that I gave you. That will turn the phone S-OFF.
Then run the PC36IMG file through the bootloader (power off the phone, then volume down +power buttons) and accept the update. That will give you the latest Amon permanent recovery. I also added the superuser.zip file in case you need to flash it (especially on stock ROM if you need it for superuser permissions).
Thank you Everyone

No problem. I just tried to give you a work around to Toast Method 2 (I see the phone was rooted with Toast Method 1 only) which would also S-OFF the phone, but is more complicated.
You could have also used unrevoked, but you probably would needed to unroot first, then install the Hboot drivers, then run unrevoked (not to mention downloading all of those things) which would have taken some time.

I have a lot of junk on my computer, I mean old files.
HI everyone, I need some help. My micro USB port went on my phone and VW sent me a replacement. I used the tacoroot temp root methond and the Revolutionary to gain s- off and flashed the newest radio etc. All seemed fine. Fastboot screen say S- off and shows newest radio, I thought great! time to root. Nope..here is what I get:
first of all I have to use adb shell to boot the phone into Revolutionary/CWM recovery. It will not let me do it by holding the power and vol down button.
second when I go into recovery and pick a rom to flash I get this error: E:Can't open /sdcard/xxxx_ rom.zip.
makes no sense to me. Any Ideas?
You didn't receive any errors when using revolutionary? When you boot up your ROM go into settings and look under the power option and make sure fast boot is disabled.
I would go through the whole process again. It sounds like something went wrong in rooting.
