I need the part number for a US wall charger. - Nokia Lumia 900

I've got a Lumia 800 (well three of them) but it has a stupid Euro wall charger and appearently the Nokia wall chargers do something differently (more voltage) than other USB wall chargers that allows the Lumia to get a more compleate and full charge.... So my question is can someone give me the part number off of thier wall charger so I can try to find a place to order one?
Or another option... If you have a new Rogers Lumia 900 and rather have a smaller sexy curved glass Lumia 800 I'd be willing to trade you one that is new in the box.

Considering you have european chargers, I can only assume that they're european model Lumia 800's.
That means they don't support all the wireless bands that are in use here. That means the data connection would be significantly slower than a US Lumia 800.
To answer your main question though, my AC adapter has the model of AC-16U

Thanks for the model number. About the other stuff you are half right. Yes it is the euro version but it does have most of the US bands. I still get 3G/4G but the phone lacks the 850 band so I do see EDGE a little more than I used to with my other att phones. That said being that the Lumia 800 is a euro phone it's IMEI isn't in att's database as a 'smartphone' so I get unlimited data for $10 a month via the 'data plan for non-smartphone' package

uk power adaptor

hi all
will be in usa in a few weeks and will be buying wifi xoom
problem is i need a uk power adaptor
anyone know where i can pick one of these up online?
i googled it but got no favourable results
tia
john.
I would probably just go with a travel adapter that you can buy at the airport or virtually every electronics store.
Yeah - thought of that but using a travel adaptor is not ideal on an ongoing basis for me
surely there is somewhere online that is selling these?
Has anyone seen any website offering them - only ones i have seen all have the same pic of the back of the charger where you cant see the pins to tell if its uk/US
would prefer a straight thru to the wall connection for charging if at all possible
thanks....

I would try eBay. Maybe you can get something from Taiwan or any other former UK colony since many of them will use the UK format. But honestly, why would anyone in the US sell a UK adapter for a specific device? That wouldn't sell very much so you still might want to consider something more general.

Thanks again creature
I do realise that noone in US would probably sell these
I was aiming this more towards anyone who may have bought one in US but is using it in UK or anywhere compatible with Uk style 3 pin plugs
Obviously noone has done this - surely I wont be the first......
Ok - I have found a UK site selling replacement charger units but again no pic of the front of the unit to see if its actually three pin
http://www.bmcdigital.co.uk/catalog...-charger-for-motorola-xoom-asm18wchargertri2a
It does list a part number though.
Could I ask two of you nice xoom owners one from US and one from UK to check the part number on your mains charger/adaptor please and post it here
The part numbers I see on the product details is
TEL-PDA-ACC-00622 (seems to be a motorola #)
and
ASM18WCHARGER-TRI2A (seems to be a site specific #)
Thanks you very much for your help
j.
just as a matter of interest - does anyone know if the atrix uses the same mains charger type as the xoom?
The model number on the US power adapter is FMP5632A.
From what I can see on the picture in your link it seems like what you need.
I think the Xoom has a unique charger b/c of the high power requirements. It is also not listed as compatible with the Atrix.
Thanks for your help on this - really appreciate it

I loved Cyprus -- when I was a kid toured around on a motorcycle. Anyway, there are different phones for different markets. The US t-mo phone will (of course) do data on t-mo but also, will work on at&t. It will also work on the more universal 2100 3G frequency for Europe and Asia.
If you buy the typical Euro phone, it does not have the 3G frequencies which work in the USA. On the other hand, any of the phones should connect w/o issue for text and voice.
Make sure, if he's buying on line, he does not get a version designed for some of the Arab language markets which do not have market.

Battery for Int'l and AT&T version - can I use one with the other?

I have not seen the seller selling the original battery for the Int'l version of the Note (N7000), however there are some that sell original battery for the AT&T version. However, they noted that the AT&T version is not compatible with the Int'l version.
I am thinking that the AT&T version can be used for the Int'l version, so I emailed on of the seller and their response is:
Both the international Note and the US version of the Note are constructed a
bit differently. The battery for the international version is different
than the battery for the US version. Not sure if it is to accommodate the
voltage difference of the wall chargers but I hear from the customers that
the batteries are different and not interchangable. The Note battery we
sell is for the U.S. ATT Note SGH-i717 only and will not work on the Samsung
Note N7000.
So it seems that there is an issue with charging the battery, judging by what this seller's customer reported? Can anyone provide insight on this?
My goal is to buy ORIGINAL Samsung battery, so I don't have to deal with quality or incompatibility issue and ended up damaging my Int'l Note, which have NO Samsung US warranty. If the AT&T version can be used in my Int'l version, I can buy one from an AT&T store!
NOTE: I used to have a Nokia phone a while back and I use 3rd party battery (non Nokia battery) and it damaged my phone, so I don't want to go through the same thing again.
I use both with no problems!
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
Think about it this way:
Compatible means physical size, shape, electrical contacts, and voltage and charging are the same.
What you are worried about is crappy chemistry, poor quality of manufacturing, or other poor design. Which is not an issue with any OEM battery.
Go to ATT store, pull the battery, read the ratings and compare their size and shape. If they match, you are golden.
David
I did order one of the AT&T Note batteries for my N7000 international Note. Both batteries look identical. After several charges with the new battery, it doesn't seem to function any differently either.
So if you want a second battery, proceed with one for the AT&T Note.
Best is to check part numbers if present.
One thing I know is that in the I777, I9100 batteries wouldn't work - the I777 specifically checked the ID resistor (the pin between + and -) for a value that was different from I9100 batteries - but with the I777, NFC was in the battery.
In the I717, NFC is in the battery door instead of the battery.

What is the model number of the Official UK charger for the Tab S2 9.7"?

I have misplaced the official charger that came with my Galaxy Tab S2 9.7" tablet. All other chargers charge soooo slow. I want to buy a replacement genuine charger - the same that came with the unit. What is the part number so I can Google and buy it please? UK 3 pin.
Thank you.
Mine has the following printed on it
Model : EP-TA12UWE
only other number is 140498-12, not sure if either of these will be of use.
Thank you. Any others just for consistency? I found one online that says Model number EP-TA20UWE is for the tablet which is slightly different to the above. Also when I put the above model number into Amazon, the reviews were bad saying it is not fast charging.
Argh am so confused.
here is a snapshot of the charger
