So the ATT skyrocket has this:
http://www.spigen.com/cell-phone/sa...skyrocket-at-t-leather-case-argos-series.html
The galaxy note one actually replaces the back cover of the phone and has a leather flap that covers the screen. This allows for super small/thin case with superb screen protection.
I currently have the ATT skyrocket case, but the speaker is on the wrong side, and the t989 is a tad too thick. Besides that the case is perfect. Anyone know of any similar T989 cases?
The Skyrocket case is definitely worth the 40 bucks i paid.

If I may where did you purchase your case, do you think it would fit a T989D.
Can anyone else help us out?

Otterbox is up the ass of AT&T as well as Apple and it really pisses me off. The alternatives like Trident and GumDrop are slowing going to gain ground on them.

Check out the Case Mate POP! Case. It's got a kickstand. I have one for the AT&T SGS2 and it's great.

Well I will be buying that case to try it out. Right now I use the D3O and i love it, its a tight fight but i dont like having to press the power button so hard...
Has anyone compared the new SGS2 ATT LTE to ours its the same screen size and if the fronts are similar .....maybe we'll get an otterbox...
i think the D3O cases are way better than the Otterbox
Otterbox cases are always bulky and thick, makes the device larger than its
I had a Nexus One before SGS2 and I dropped that thing so many times not a scratch or a dent or anything on that. I know that the SGS2 is plastic vs nexus one which is why I want the best protection possible and adding alittle bulk knowing I can drop it and it will be protected.....

i got a really nice hard case from tmobile store today, its a white, hardshell bodyglove case with a gray rubber strip going across where the "hump" is on the lower end of the device. it fits great, the buttons are easy to push, unlike the d30. i have 2 different d30's and this body glove is my new daily driver... its called the bodyglove diamond shell - white... http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/addons/accessories/default.aspx?categorycode=21#tblId3
Hi guys,
I made an epic failing attempt to buy the flip case online. It was meant for the AT&T's version. So, i decided to file the back to make it fit, unfortunately, it doesn't hold very tightly once I do that. So there goes 20$. So, confirmed. The flip case for AT&T is different!
Without any luck, I resorted to buying a crappy one on Amazon.
Still, deep down I feel like the flip case is the right one for me, because I prefer a stock-like device, all from Sammy. Any of you guys would like to tell me a place to buy the original flip case, that would work with the international version?
Please! Let me know.

I have this case and it seems to work pretty good.

That is a hot looking case, with a good 9.99 tag!
I also saw a few, like the SGP leather cases. Love the look of it. My g-note is all naked right now except for screen protector...
After having the case a couple days I really like it, one of the corners is a lttle loose but the phone is held snug.
I like the way it holds when closed instead of a magnet or button it hooks around the side of the phone and holds good.

I've had both (Although I had the Commuter for my old LG Optimus One) and I currently have the Seidio Active (Without the kickstand) and the Seidio Active is much much better. The silicone and plastic is much higher quality and it doesn't lose it's shape like most Otterboxes too. The only upside with buying the Otterbox is that is comes with a screen protector (A pretty crappy one anyway) and that's about it. The Seidio case is much better.

By the way does the case get a lot of lint on it and does it get stuck inside pockets and such that's my main concern lol
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
The Seidio case picks up a little bit of lint, a LOT less than the Otterboxes do. Half the time for me it doesn't pick lint up but when it does it's barely noticeable and wipes off really easily. Can't same the same about the Otterbox though, I had a hell of a time with lint problems when I had one for my old phone.

Do yourself a favor and also check out the Trident Kraken(Excellent Video Review Here). It has an awesome kickstand, tons of accessories that can be bought(11 bucks for a windshield mount? DONE!) and you can take it out of the poly-carb box and use just the silicon sleeve when you don't need it. Plus from everything I read online, Trident offers far superior protection than SEIDO or Otterbox. And the rotatable belt clip is way better than a holster, to me anyway. Give it a look, love mine!
Also if you want slightly less protection(and thickness) consider the Trident Aegis.
Quit hatin' on the Commuter!

Of course the Trident Kraken offers superior protection when compared to the Seidio Active and Otterbox Commuter but it also adds a lot more bulk to your phone. (If you're ok with that, then go for the Kraken! It is the most protective case out of the three!).
And I wasn't hating on the Commuter, I was just stating what I had encountered when I had one with my old phone.
I decided to go with the Seidio Active case with the kickstand. It should arrive tomorrow so I'll update you guys on how it is.

Got the Seidio case in the mail today I love it but the only thing is that it doesn't have any opening for the 3 pin thing on the right side of the phone. I don't know if the Otterbox Commuter has an opening for it.

Commuter doesn't have an opening for the pogo pins either. Very few have them open and the only ones I own that have such an opening are some tpu cases I have.

Yeah I don't plan to use them anyways but so far this case is very good but we'll see how it survives a fall which hopefully never happens

Kraken does not have them either, nor does any high-protection case I have seen.
Would have to say the seidio active is my choice. After i tested it the hard way, due to me being sleep deprived. I was working inside my car engine bay and take off the phone due to getting in the way at times. I just so happened to forget it was in their and then started to drive away to get a drink. I finally realized what happen then went searching for it the case was scratch to heck, but the phone was safe
^ Mother of Buddha :-\
I have what I'm told is a Commuter for sale.. $20 shipped 405-259-2797
I like the little groove on my case from where the kickstand is too makes it feel nice when you hold the phone.

I think it would be the Seidio case. I don't personally care for their holsters.. just my opinion.
They have the spring-holster that looks like it is supposed to be a holster for Just the phone
I wonder if it would accommadate a tpu case? or a bumper? maybe even one of the cases that just cover the back?
..like this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749550
Oh, and this is the holster I mentioned: http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-spring-clip-holster-p/hlssgs3as.htm
My only concern on the seidio cases is the rubberized coating. Any chance of it chipping off?

My concern would be the spring loaded action. Seems like if you were to bump something, it would open it enough to let the phone fall out.
I've never tried one of the holsters though.

Thanks but That's not what I asked. I want to know about a Spigen Slim Armor VIEW for our S3, with the front flip cover protection.
http://www.spigen.com/galaxy-s4-case-slim-armor-view.html
spigen slim armor does not exist for galaxy s3
the case you want is not available for S3.
I'd suggest looking at this one: elago G5 Slim Fit Case for Galaxy S3
9 bucks on Amazon, prime shipping, lots of color choices.
It doesn't provide a lot of protection, but I'd say it's good enough for most drops.
I'm not sure why people want to protect the front screen. I keep my phone in my pocket with keys and other things and have never managed to scratch the gorilla glass.
I have the Samsung original protective cover plus on my S3 and it's great. Good protection and excellent design, similar to the phone's design. I thought it was enough. But taking it from my pocket it slipped from my hand. I managed to have good reflexes and made it hit on my foot but after that in landed on the ground. The ground was not plane so the glass broke. Very small and stupid fall and it broke instantly. Everything works but it looks terrible. It's 140 euros to change it on a store or I can try changing it myself for 30 euros, risking damaging the phone forever. That is why I want a case like that but one that is not a horrible pouch, which I don't like. (seems like a condom). I, like yourself, also thought that a non slim and full body case was over the top, like the otterbox defender, until it happened to me.
