Restoring HTCClock Widget - HTC One X

Hey everyone,
i tried to clean up my HTC One X Rom with Titanium Backup.
This way, i deinstalled the HTC Flip Clock Widget.
Now i tried to get the Flip Clock back.
So i copied the HTCClockwidget.apk from a Custom Rom "system/app"
to the root "system/app" Folder in my HTC One X.
I also give it the same permissions like the Apps in the "system/app" Folder.
It shows, if i try to install the widget, that this is installed already, but i cant pick or see the HTC Flip Clock Widget in the Widgetlist.
So my questions are:
Is this APK "HTCClockwidget.apk" the Flip Clock from HTC One X?

[QUESTION] How to remove HTC Wallpapers?

Hello everyone

How Do I get rid of the folder option??(circled in the picture)

[Q] Missing FriendStream Widget

After installing the Froyo leak I moved some of the 'bloatware' files into a separate file rather than deleting them. Included in the moved files were the two FriendStream files (apk and odex) as well as the two FriendStream Widget Files (com.htc.FriendStreamWidget apk and odex). I have since decided that I would prefer the FriendStream Widget over the stock Facebook widget and thus moved all four files back into the /system/app folder. 'ls' in adb shell verifies that the files are there and I can open the FriendStream app, but the Widget is not listed and thus cannot be added to a home screen. Any thoughts on how to get the Widget to show up in my add Widget list or otherwise get it on my Home Screen?

Modded AudioManager Pro keeps uninstalling itself..any ideas?

Hey guys!
So I bought AudioManager Pro and I love the look of the widget on my homescreen and I love the app itself. The thing is, there doesn't seem to be a theme out there that perfectly fits my current homescreen's look. So I decided to make my own.
I don't know much about APK's and such so the tutorial on theme making AudioManager provides doesn't do much for me so I thought of just messing with the .png's inside the apk to suit my needs.
So I made a copy of the apk using root explorer and placed it somewhere on my external sd so I could mod it on my pc. I edited the fuxia (cus I hate it!) .png's to create the look I want. I didn't extract the apk or anything. I just opened it with winrar and opened each .png I edited there. Saved the edits on to desktop and dragged them into the apk file to replace the originals.
I drag this modded apk back to the original directory replacing the old one using root explorer... I then try it out by adding the modded widget to homescreen and it works!!! ...up until I reboot my phone that is. Once I do, my AudioManager Pro gets uninstalled for some reason. :| So I have to reinstall and replace the apk each time I reboot. Not THAT big of a deal but annoying none the less.
I've tried backing up the modded apk using titanium, uninstalling the app, then reinstalling from backup but then the apk wouldn't install that way. Any other suggestions?
Is there a way I can put AudioManager Pro in the apps folder where all the persistent apps are? Perhaps that would keep it alive post-reboot? If so, any suggestions how to do this?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] How to De-senseize?

So basically i wanna remove Sense and Widgets from InsertCoin, but keep the functions that make Sense great like the Camera, Facebook Sense...Oh and also the Lockscreen to the Vanilla one. I've seen plenty of scripts written for other phones and none seem to work for Desire sadly Any halp?
Open the zip before flashing (don't extract it) and remove all the widgets and other stuff you don't want. Either in system/app or data/app. The flash it with signature verification turned off.

install the rom and if you are s-off install different launcher like adw or launcher pro. Go to root explorer and delete folder called rosie
Oh damn, i suppose i should have read this
But how do I remove the Sense incoming call screen???
Plug phone into ADB (if you have it on your PC) or use astro file manager go to system/apps and delete htclockscreen.apk then unplug the phone and restart it will go back to the original AOSP lockscreen.
And id suggest using ADW Launcher EX. then you get all the HTC apps with the AOSP look
EDIT: Also you need to get another alarm clock because deleting the htclockscreen.apk file means you cant turn off your alarm
iDidit!
Okay, so following the post that was located in baadnewz's website (which was linked from the same page as the ROM LOL) i have removed all the stuff i want, such as the Launcher, all Sense widgets and most apps except for Friend Stream (for facebook photo syncing) Gmail, Stocks and a few other things but added ADW Launcher 1.3.6 (not for constant use, just so the ROM would have something to go to after setting up as i am using ADW EX). After doing so i gave myself 10-20~MB in extra space! resulting from a 188MB Installation zip to 170~MB! I have to say, the smoothest DHD ROM I've ever used! I think i might just PM baadnewz himself to see what he thinks of my 'work'
I will edit this post to add photos...I may post a DL link depending on how many people 'thank' this post

[Q] MIUI removing widgets

I removed some of the standard applications in the MIUI firmware (like Music).
App is removed, but it remains the widget.
In "\system\app" folder I do not see it.
How can I remove this widget? And the other system - such as a clock, photo frame, search etc.
Do you have S-OFF?
If you are S-OFF, you can do it directly in rom with an explorer which has root rights (e.g. root explorer)
If you are not S-OFF, you have to it via ADB:

but where are these widgets? as I wrote in "\system\app" folder I do not see it. there is an application, but not widgets. When I remove applications, widgets still remain.

This is because the stock widget are applications seperate from their applications. Just find those applications that has part of its name that matches the application you removed. (eg. For sense roms, to remove Facebook for HTC Sense completely, delete htcfacebook.apk and htcfacebookwidget.apk)

Guys, do you see what I write?
1. I ALREADY deleted the application (eg "Music").
2. NO files in the folders widget! Generally NO more files, whose name somehow related to "Music".
3. NOT Sense, but MIUI. I know how to remove widgets in Sense. in MIUI of this recipe does not work!
