Data on flashed epic to cricket...

I randomly lost my data on my flashed epic on cricket..and my phone keeps popping up the hands free activation...plus when connected to wifi it constantly shuts off then reconnects....but my device still says 3g on it but no data...help please?

Did you flash something on top of that custom rom that was tailored for cricket? Did you back to up your rom before this? Sounds like you flashed over your custom rom for cricket. If you backed it is up, do a nand restore.

I didnt flash any roms or anything. And i just restored a backup right after the phone was flashed to cricket and it says 3g but i still have no data

As far as I know, unless they installed a custom rom, you never had 3G working with cricket in the first place.

How did u do it i have the same problem ?

3g works on cricket with the stock rom, the only thing that doesnt work stock is mms. what rom are you using? I have several cricket roms for the epic.

does it matter? i have sleeper_ROM, i just tried editing all the profiles in qpst. i have 3g icon and now with the upstream bar and downstream bar animates but it no avil. I still cant load pages in browser

[SOLVED]Can't get 4g or 3g. Only E.

I fixed it by flashing a new ROM and wiping all the data!

Someone please help! I don't know what to do!

Nevermind, I think I fixed it!

I fixed it by changing the band to GSM Preferred/GSM ALL but now I only get E. Any way I can get back 4g?

Change it back to automatic or Odin kl1 modem from rootzwiki team kang post.

I changed it to auto, and i'm getting signal. Time to check if 4g. Thanks.
EDIT: It shows signal, but Im not getting any. Can't send text or browse web. Time to odin modem.

I flashed it, and I went to settings and looked at the network mode: It was GSM only. I changed it to auto mode. It seems to still get and send texts, and I looked at band selection with the dialer code, and there wasn't a star besides anything. I think it might've worked, but I still only get e.

By flashed I mean odined. Lol

I had same issue and this is how I fixed it.
disable data connection and switch your phone off, remove the back cover and remove sim card completely. Then re-insert sim card and turn your phone back on and it should ask you to re-enable data connection once it boots up.

I did this, but it didn't ask me to turn it back on, so I turned it on manually, and still only E.

Other phones receive 3G? Perhaps T-Mobile is servicing your area? This has happened to me but I had no control over it.

Weird. My issue was that I was testing a few of the skyrocket modems. After using Odin to get kl1 it worked again. Yeah i would sugeest resetting apn in wireless settings .

Here's what I did that messed with my 3G
I flashed skyrocket roms.
So what I did was wipe everything. Go to mounts and storage and format system. Then flash Juggernaut or any other rom you desire. Then you're done

AOKP internet problem!!? Please help!

Ever since last night my 4g/3g has been on and off.. And off more times then on.. It keeps saying "no interent connection" in the notification window. Retarded the phone 20 times. Deleted downloaded cache I even updated the rom this morning... This is so annoying. And its no my service because I used the CM10 and everything was working perfect. I go back to AOKP and no interent connection. It has bars at the top but nothing like "H" or "H+" next to it when its off.. Idk why this is happening. Everything was perfect. I was chilling last night at the bar trying upload some pictures and ever since then this problem started..

Maybe try updating your modem?
And be nice to your phone, don't retard it

Oh no i wasn't talking about wifi. Sorry. I was talking about 4g. When I dont have access to wifi its giving me trouble.. Only on this rom. Its sad because this is my fav rom lol. But 4g/3g keeps shutting off idk why.

Just data enabled. It seems to be working now though. Also how can I reconnect my Gmail? For some reason all my contacts that are synced to Gmail isn't working. I have no contacts..

Mine did the same. It would drop off the data network sort if speak. Toggle and it won't come back on. Call and text were fine. Data was gone

Cm10 and CM10.1

What is the trick to get the mobile data to kick in. The signal bars show signal but they are greyed out, not blue like when connected. I tried updating profile and prl but cannot connect even tried over WiFi but no luck. Sprint GNex GA02 modems.

The pick is not of the issue but that is what the bars look like this us pa3 with mobile data off

Try different radios. Fh05 work much better than ga02 for me

Happened to me on BB7 and the fix was to change from LTE/CDMA to just CDMA (or vice versa) uncheck mobile data wait 15 or so seconds then turn it back on and then if/when I saw the 3g icon Id update profile then prl.

I have tried that, and mine still isn't blue. I switched from TouchWiz to CM10 last week and at first, the signal bars and WiFi indicator were both blue. Now they are grey. And yes, my Sync is on.

Aosp low signal on 4G only

Hello,
I find that whenever I am on an aosp rom, when I am connected to 4G I never get more than one bar but with any other connection I get close to if not full bars all of the time.
Does anyone know why this would be?

You need to factory setting back to stock. Use the Odin and stock files to do that. After you got to stock, 4G will start to kick in and then you are able to use any rom. But you need to back it up to your sd card so you don't have to lose all of your data.
