They said in Barcelona that it will be released internationally in Q2

Can you flash the UK version firmware on the AT&T Lumia 900? I am in Australia so the LTE isnt spported here anyway but the UK software is the Tango update and is unbranded.

Ummm...why would you want to? Tango is the most minor of updates, that so far hasn't shown anything really useful for the 900. Why risk it... you can always pick up a HTC Sensation and fullfill your flashing urge there. I hear they have a ROM now that will turn that baby into an iPhone 6....with a few tweets and such....

Wow but build 8112 seems older than tango

Build 8112 was pushed out to resolve the internet connectivity issues that most 900's faced. My 900 has been running this build since April 13th when they pushed it out...

Yep Build 8112 was on my at&t Titan 2, Think it was pushed to the Lumia 900s to sort out the purple camera issue.

yes, i have build 7.10.8112.7 on my lumia 900. this was after at$t, last update earlier this month

The L900 shipped with 7.10.8112.7. That update was to enable LTE on L900 and Titan II devices. Tree have been no OS updates since the L900 launch. There have been two firmware updates.

Oh, and 8112 is older than Tango, because it was created for LTE phones, before Tango was finalized.
The fomware to fix the data issue: 2175.1002.8112.12084. Firmware to fix the purple screen issue: 2175.1003.8112.12085.

That is correct. Us rogers customers in Canada still didn't get the 12085 update to fix the purple screen issue.

So..
What I have is not the latest on which was promised as 7.8 and 7.10 is the older version?

Correct. 7.8 won't be out until some time around the WP8 release which is expected in October, In fact you don't even have Tango yet, which is the release before 7.8.
If you're outside of North America I think you can expect Tango soon. Rogers and AT&T are apparently in no hurry to release it.

With 7.8 the OS Version may or may not change.

Well with WP7.8 the OS version will change. But it may not even include 7 or 8 in the actual number.

Looks like T-Mobile started rolling Marhmallow for the 925 in Poland about a week ago, but I can't find the OTA anywhere.
Anybody here have a link/mirror?

Android 8.1?

Anyone have any idea or hear any news of when Android 8.1 will be pushed to UK Nokia 6.1? News online 4-5 days ago that it started rolling out OTA in India?

Nothing here on my UK model. Stuck on February security patch.

I got the 8.1 update with the april patch a few days ago (april 13rd) in france

I got it from Carphone Warehouse here in the UK, they got exclusive rights to sell it. Model TA-1050.

Its annoying. Hopefully get it rolled out ASAP.

Mine is from Carphone Warehouse too. I've tried using a VPN to spoof that I'm in India and France but nothing is coming through.
I'm hoping that 8.1 will allow me to use the more recent Google Pixel camera APKs as I'm currently having to use an ancient one in order for HDR processing to work.

My only criticism of the phone is the camera, like you say, hopefully the update will allow us to use the updated camera apps.

What's your model number? Mine says TA-1050
I've tried using a VPN to spoof being in France with no luck. I wonder if it's tied to my IMEI.
Any suggestions as to something else that might work would be good.

Mine is also TA-1043 version 5
According to https://nokiapoweruser.com/variants-nokia-7-plus-8-sirocco-6-plus-1-emerge-various-certifications/ there are 5 Nokia 6.1 variants : TA-1050, TA-1043, TA-1045, TA-1016, TA-1054

I bought a TA-1043 from amazon.de (shipped to ireland) and i have not gotten the 8.1 upgrade either....
Does anyone know what the difference between the various models (1043 / 1050) is?

I just got the TA-1043 in Hungary from Germany (Amazon) and got 8.1 on first boot.

Anyone with the TA-1050 model got this update yet? I'm not very impressed given my security patch is from the 1st Feb... It's nearly May.
Anyone know what model lauched in USA the other day? Be interesting to see if they also got the update out the box.

Carphone Warehouse have exclusivity in the UK - not sure if my model is 'their' brand and therefore has slowed updates. Bit annoying that the brand new Nokia 6 is behind the old Nokia 6 with updates though - kind of makes me wonder what the real point of Android One is.

Yeah I don't think that makes a difference. They are sim free/unlocked devices.
As an android one phone, the updates are pushed directly from Google OTA (supposedly). Just find it strange that it's still not pushed in the UK.

You don't happen to be with EE do you? I seen someone complaining about Nokia phones not receiving update due to EE... On an unlocked phone... I don't have another sim to try.

Considering i have a TA-1043 (same as a user above who also ordered off Amazon Germany but is based in hungary and received the update on first boot), i'm guessing the updates are just country limited. UK/Ireland seem to be down the pecking order.
Has anyone tried connecting over a VPN to do the update (or at least download it)?

I’ve tried. No luck.
