[Q] Arc S: can it be flashed/rooted in the same way as the original Arc?

Hi there,
I was wondering if the Arc S can be flashed and rooted in the same way as the original Arc can be rooted and flashed?
Same firmware?
Same tools?
Same Howto's?
Same everything?
I assume this to be true as it was often said that the Arc S is just an Arc running at higher clock speed but even with the same CPU model.
Anybody with a rooted Arc S?

I was wondering is there anyway I can get Jelly Bean?

As Sony has confirmed months ago the Xperia Arc along with all the 2011 line will not get JB.
From the middle of nowhere to the center of everywhere through my ArcS!

You won't get official jb but there are plenty of jb custom roms... But they require you to unlock boatloader...
