yeah it is the base of delano´s work it is working great i´am modding right now.
some news about progress:
cm9 bootanimation added cuz there was no bootanimation
now, im themeing in UOT kitchen
Have you got any screenshoot's? Except maybe that it looks as the stock rom.

Prerequisites:
- Make sure your 3 button combination works
- Flash with full battery, or atleast at 75%
- For your own safety, always disable lagfix
- Back-up all your apps, messages etc. All data will be wiped
Step 1
Download je base rom here
When GR is based on JVR then flash JVR is it based on JVS then flash JVS and so on
Step 2
- Extract you rom base
Pasword = samfirmware.com
- Open Odin v1.82
- Tick Re-Partition on and load the following files in Odin
PIT = s1_odin_20100512.pit
PDA = CODE.tar (it is the one with code in the name)
PHONE = MODEM.tar (it is the one with modem/phone in the name)
CSC = CSC.tar (it is the one with csc in the name)
Boot your phone into Download Mode (VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER)
Connect your phone and wait for Odin to say 'Added!!'
This will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes
After your phone booted, close Odin
Step 3
Let your phone start up this may take a while
Congratulations you are now on Android your rom base
Step 4
Download a semaphore kernel for your rom base
Start up odin again
PDA = Semaphore_kernel_xxxxxxxxx.tar
Connect your phone when it is in download mode and click on start
Now let your phone boot fully again
Update to latest GingerReal
Note1: GingerReal2 is using WipeDetection when you are not on GingerReal2 the rom will wipe!
Note2: GingerReal2 is using custom modem/kernel detection. When you put your own zImage/modem.bin on your sdcard these will be installed otherwise the ones that comes with GingerReal
1. Download the latest GingerReal and put it on your SD-card
2. Boot in recovery
3. Choose for "install zip from SD" then "choose zip from sd"
5. Apply the GingerReal-X.X-XXXX.zip
6. Wait till it is done and reboot your device after that
7. Wait till it is fully booted
Congratulation you are now on the latest GingerReal

The nicest thing is the dialer from ICS.
The red marker is the video call button. I made a one pixel to aim.
Because 4 buttons breaks the nice dialer I made it this way.

You can just release a patch for the JVQ . In the version 7.0 i had many bootloops so i have not the opportunity to instal the patch. Can you make one for the JVQ please?(we know that it will not work for the default browser, but we have Opera/Firefox). Looking for your response . Thank you very much .

V6.x basepack is okay.
I had a V7.x basepack but had a lot off issues with enabling ext4

even if i gave u permission , u should use stock gio rom , not ace's rom

Did you ask google permission, before you made your ROM?
NO. Because Android is open source. You should GOOGLE what that means.
Also he gave you credits, so I don't see the problem...

using cf-root ace ramdisk. it will say s5830-cfroot on cwm manager, and adrealine cpu control, but thats just a name. its a combination of the kernel for gio and the ramdisk for ace(fully compitable).
- data working. no need to set up APN manually any more.
- adrealine ''boost'' included. use terminal app and enter:

boost
- adrealine CPU control included and working. may give a few errors but frequencies get changed.

- added task manager app. you don't need it though, just to prevent crashes and reboots when its not there and you press the button from the recent menu.
- re-ported the whole rom.
- all patches for both gio and ace preinstalled.
- contact sync for google account now included. calander isn't, as I don't think it is used as much as contact sync. use the provided patch for that.
- not really visible updates, but much changed though.

Q : Can I install any RAM management script like V6 Supercharger , Slaidyboost , Kickass Kernelizer into this ROM ?
Definitely a big NO because this ROM has my special version of Adrenaline Engine preinstalled.
So installing other RAM management script may conflict with my Adrenaline Engine causing the phone doesn't work as smooth as it should be !

hi Remco, I'm on this rom for a day now and I must say its pretty neat
Appdrawer and launcher work smoothly without any signs of lag at all,
even with 130+ apps installed (on sd-ext of course)
I also like the fact that it comes without too much apps installed,
although there are some (system)apps that should be included.
I.e. the weather/news widget, its such a small file that it would't matter that much for the rom size, of course you shouldn't put it
on the launcher by default because it does drain the battery.
I also noticed that the Google Search widget is included, but the app itself is missing. I know it's easy to install from the Play store but still
The stock FM-radio should also be included for convenience
I will post further comments as I will keep using your rom for a week,
reason for this is the failing camera, any chance for a patch before that time?

the camera lib of ace is different from gio's , and u need a different camera.apk

i know, im not like that....
copied the camera and cameradata from my working beats v5, but theres a strange error...
when you use ace camera.apk it says 5 mp but cant connect, mine gives another error, I'll try it with a complete stock camera.apk..

First 24 hr feedback: seriously good rom mate. Highly stable, great battery life and very fast and responsive. No apparent downsides yet lol. Appreciate the little extras like SuperSU, EQS, xmkernel etc. Coming from 4.2 roms like liquid & carbon I thought sense based roms would be heavier and noticably less responsive even without bloatware but not the case here, plus it's the first time I've had over 12 hours battery with normal use.

It's stable plus none of the slow downs or occasional lag typical of some stock-based works. Haven't nodded anything except enable fast charge and disable the directional s2w. Tried various governor/scheduler combos smartmax+sio seems to be the best balance. Media seems fine with no video/audio playback problems, gameplay is smooth, I don't play that many tho.

How different is it from schniz's ics rom ?

but i'm missing power widget and some calender widget

it will be great if we can chose which app, widget will be uninstall
