I recently switched from Vibrant to T989, and I am using the stock music player(the one that shows headphone). However, when I play an album or playlist, it always stopped after the song and wont resume unless I press the power or volume up buttons any remedy to this annoying issue. I know I can try other players, but i'd like this pine.
Thanks

Hi,
Since installing 2.2 stock root, I've had the HTC Audio player start playing audio files by itself. Both times, I was not touching anything and when I looked at the player, it had the "play" triangle looking like it was not playing. I had to hit the play button once, once to turn it on (even though it was playing) and again to turn it off.
Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me?
Thanks.
I am using stock music player.
I normally stop the music by pulling out the headphone. It works all the time.
But a few days ago. The music still stop after I pull out the headphone. But when i press the play button again either on stock music player widget or inside the music app, it just play the very first song of the list instant of continue the last song just like it reset the player every time.
Anyone please help . Thanks
Google listen, google music, slacket, Pandora, and spotify. If I begin playing a song and turn the screen off, more than likely songs will randomly pause, randomly because I don't know when. Wth
Please help thanks!

Happens with me too, but only as I unlock the screen. I am using the PlayerPro app, not sure why this happens.
tried mortplayer, google music, zimly, stock and the only one that hasnt paused is UberMusic. Not sure why that is tho. after a week of having this phone that is the only problem i can find. running juggs 5.0.
I'm Running DARKSIDE DIGITAL WARFARE and I don't experience these issues either with the stock player or Google Music (It happens with custom playlists under Google Music but thats a known but on their side)
After a day of testing I can say ubermusic works. It doesn't pause when screen is off and the notification music control works with it ( no album or song name). I hope this helps although it brings your choices of player to 1 that works with everything and a bunch that do a few.
Hello everyone, I have a completley stock samsung s2x on telus. Everytime I end a call on bluetooth in my 2012 honda civic the built in music player in my phone starts to play automatically, sometimes I am streaming music and the music player still comes on and I get two different songs playing at the same time. I finally erased all my music files on my phone, any ideas.
I can't help with the issue, but what I can tell you is that Samsung's bluetooth stack is totally messed up. There are a number of issues associated with it.

My only suggestion would be to completely close the music apps, don't just hit pause and "home" back and just leave the application open. If hitting "back" doesnt close it, use the built in task manager to kill it.
I'm having an issue while using Google's Play Music player with a bluetooth speaker where the volume jumps significantly when the player changes to the next track on the album/playlist/queue. Pressing the volume rocker up or down once brings the volume back down to the same level as before and the volume bar shows that the volume setting has not moved other than the one notch up or down corresponding with the button press. I've recreated it many times, including after clearing data, force-closing the app, and rebooting the phone.
It's not an issue with any other media player on my phone (Poweramp, Netflix, MX Player, etc.). Unfortunately, Google searches and XDA searches about the issue come up with a lot of unrelated results thanks to Google's generic name for the music player and the numerous unrelated issues people seem to have with bluetooth volumes across various apps.
Any ideas of what might be going on here?
