soooo i wanna develop a rom myself dont know where to start so i thought maybe learn to add/tweak current roms out there
personally i love miui roms so i would prefer to work on those

if you have not done any work b4 a good place to start would be themeing,
_calum_ has a nice guide in the x10 forums

I tried the i9100 rom on a t989 and bricked it never again will i do that mistake but i think you could go into the development section of forum and get a good dev to help you out . someone like allstar devs they are cool . :laugh:

Are you guys serious? If you flash a ROM/Kernel from a different phone onto ours it will brick because of differing processors. There is a proper way to port ROMs from different phone with same resolutions though.

All SuperNexus is is stock AOSP. It doesn't have any mods/tweaks.

I don't quite understand what you're trying to say......If your talking about flashing the rom(Aceone v2.2) made for Galaxy Ace then you can't......It should be ported for our phones first

+1 By Paper weight he means if you want to brick your phone flash then flash that zip. You can however learn the skills to port a rom and then port roms for us but beware they can sometimes be very buggy.
Errm yes you can flash DroidWFS (my port). I searched the internet for "Aceone V2.2" but it didn't return any results.

Yeh, I think Aceone is not posted on XDA but on other forums. Youtube results came up though.

You have to flash again your ROM, the locksreen that I sent you is for CM9 not for CM10. Sorry.
Maybe try some CM9 custom rom with similar look (before install locksreen mount everything in recovery).

Can someone explain in fair ease how to port MIUI v5 or V6 onto a AOSP Based ROM, like ShinyROM/CM11/OmniROM? Preferably in a GITHub format so Updates to MIUI and these bases update the whole package? Been fiddling with porting it and had no success and the official MIUI porting team instructions seem to not apply/im not grasping it as much as I should

I tried that first to be honest, but not from the guide directly, just guessing what might work, i know MIUI has init.d things that seperate it from AOSP
PS: Are you the same guy i saw over on MIUI forum?? (I'm XeoShion there)
