@Basian Mile
If you can't make the .apk work give Beautiful Widgets a try.
Many clock widget skins to choose from and quite a few very similar to what you are looking for.

Simply install it, but remember to allow installation of non-market apps trough settings > developement options >
Make sure to keep your clock on internal memory since widgets installed to sdcard are removed from your widgets selection since your homescreen would crash if you connected your phone to your pc (sdcard is unmounted on usb connect).
Please report your experience. And yes beautiful widgets is a very good alternative

I has installed it but like i say, there is no widget for me to choose. Maybe its because of Liquidsmooth, ApexLauncher or whatever. Its crazy...

If I understand it correctly, that's the launcher (app drawer) from Nexus One.

How have you had it working, i.e. in the sense that it looks and acts like a nexus one.

We have already found that you just pull the apk from a nexus1 rom and install it onto the desire.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6002164&postcount=80
Then you goto applications and remove htcsense from being default and force close it. when you next go to the home screen it asks which one you want to use (htcsense or launcer2)
EDIT: You can also install Gallery3d from the nexus this way

But if you just install launcher2.apk from N1 it's not functioning properly -- icons are small, etc.

Works fine here, everything looks exactly as it should
Maybe I had the wrong APK. Can you share the one you've used?
I've got it themed up for Cyanogen goodness:

Not only do the shapes randomly change in colors, but any time you swipe across the screen or click an icon it creates a ripple effect like in a lake. I suggest trying it out if you're looking for a nice live wallpaper that is good for showing off.
will try it
Edit: cool I will keep this
Thanks for the suggestion. I was looking for the perfect wallpaper and found it.

I have a question for the first and the third poster, how do you change the colour of the topbar? (the wifi-icon, the battery icon etc) because mine are just a plain and boring white

We're using Gingerbread ROMs (i.e. CyanogenMod 7 or GingerVilian).
I've been using LightGrid Pro for awhile, it's the perfect update to good old Popsquares.
Of course, I rarely see it except for the lockscreen, since I can't seem to pull myself away from Slidescreen Pro as my homescreen.
where could I download this?

What you're asking for is warez, and it's not going to happen. I'd suggest emailing the developer.

Installed it. LW's didn't interest me before, but thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis............ This is beautiful......... Thank you! I hope someone can delete the watermark on the upper left hand corner that says accuweather, so that this LW will be perfect.
I've set my min freq to 245Mhz, still having some lags when opening the app drawer. Do you have the same issue? But I don't mind, as long as my phone is beautiful.
Hey maxx35000, does your LW update at night? It's already 6:40PM here in the Philippines but the beach is still sunny.hahaha I also saw other people having day and night changes on their S2's..
Nevermind, it changed now.

Did you install it like a normal app? Because that didn't work for me. I manually did it, copy paste the file secretwallpaper1 to system/app. Then set permissions to rw-r-r. Hope that helps.

Hi!
The title says it all, I'm interested if the Note II can handle any app in double panel view.
I use computer almost never, and having a smartphone which could view any 2 apps at a time would be so good and would be a great next phone I'll buy.
Thanks for your answers already!
Not stock. Only a handful of apps will work in multi view.
But there is a mod in dev section that allows any app to run in multiview

Only certain stock apps are available in the Multi window by default. If you need to add your own apps, there are a few methods, or you can flash a ROM that already have this feature built-in
So far, the easiest is this one, you just need to find the item name of the apps you wish to add, and use the webtool to generate a zip file to flash into your Note II (You need to be rooted)
Here's how mine looks like once I added apps that I want :
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Do remember to do the necessary backups before proceeding further.
Hope this helps!
Ok, thanks for your replies. At this time I wasn't able to find the mod kylec mentioned about, and the manual method looks pretty creepy, but I'll look into it later, when I actually have the device with me. It was a big relievement to know that there is at least some way to double-panel all apps. It's sad how Samsung doesn't give us the device's full potential by standard.
Remind that even u flash unlimited multi window mod , it wont be easy to use, many apps will be stretched strangly.

A few days ago, I started modifying my stock launcher on my Galaxy Tab3 (GT-P5200). I've focused on the dock.
Till now I've managed to modify the launcher so far, that I can store up to 13 icons on the dock.
I also managed to remove the text from the icons. This is how my screen looks at the moment.
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now I want to continue modifying the dock by making it scrollable (like the homescreen or appdrawer).
And before anyone suggests me exactly, what I do not want, I'll explain briefly what is important for me.
I don't want to use a different launcher (like Nova / AWD / Apex / or something like that).
I also do not want to use any other app, which modifies my launcher.
I simply want to modify my stock launcher (TouchWiz) by modifying the code itself
I would appreciate it if anyone could help me or at least could explain to me
where the scrolling of the homescreens is defined in the code.
.
Wonder how you get 13 icons in the dock? Wish I had that option.

Well, ... I just modified SecLauncher3.apk. But I recognized that these 13 apps won't survive a reboot.
When I reboot my device, the system/launcher (or whatever it is) resets the dock, so that only 10 apps
will be shown after reboot. I still have the possibility to put up to 13 apps on the dock, but after reboot,
only 10 apps will be shown.
