Just ordered a sim free from Amazon

Just ordered a one X from amazon and was just wandering what everyone else views on yours? Is it worth ordering any protection for the case or screen?

Nothing for screen but probably a case.
No screen protect because of Gorilla glass 2

I have ordered a screen protector and gel case. Despite what people might think, gorilla glass is strong and extremely resistant to breaking...but they still have a digitizer on the outside layer that will scratch. So do yourself a favor and buy a screen protector at the very least!

Just opened the box on mine that was delivered today.
Having bought it on the basis never even seeing it and just the hotuk deals deal and a few reviews to go on it looks like the right phone for me!.
It must be good, its just sent my Legendary HD2 to the scrap bin (well Mrs is gonna get it as soon as I remove WinPhone7 and put a decent GB rom on it!)
Sorry cant give any other info about the phone other than its cool looking and boots quickly!.

Make sure there is nothing protecting the camera. If there is some glass or plastic to protect it it will destroy you photography.
Didn't look into what case you posted but keep that in mind

Hi Jonas.
Yep HD2 = best phone I've ever owned thats for sure. 3 years old nearly now I think and its still as strong as ever.
I have a feeling this one x could be one of those phones that last as long. At least cpu wise it should be good for some time.

I saw this case on Ebay weeks ago but was very pricey £99 (WTH?) then I found other sites offering a pre order. Now I see it available on HTC website

Just ordered mine from Clove UK ..let's see how it turns out ..but one thing is for sure that it looks n feels premium unlike the cheap TPU cases n the Casemate tough case(super ugly)..

Yes I have had that case for 3 weeks on my hox, it is quality! I got the white one and its really really nice and functional I would really recommend it! Hope this helps and any questions just ask!

The hard shell that attachs to the back of the phone is very thin, much thinner than a case mate barely there case! Its plastic and kind of transparent with a bit of frosting! The flip part of the case is white leather or something very similar and the inside of the flip is slightly padded and is a light grey fine microfiber material which sits nicely on the screen when closed protecting it! The hard case part has a cut out for the speaker at the back and one for the volume rocker, the flip part has a cut out for the charger so you can charge the phone with the flip open or closed! I have dropped my phone 3 times and the case protected it perfectly no marks on the case or the phone! The hard back adds a mm in thickness and the flip adds maybe 3mm so overall still a slim profile! I will upload photos when I get home from work with the hox in the case!

It cost £17.99 + pp from HTC , eBay £99 wth!? In black or clear of course out of stock..I've a grey HOX and it would looks really bad with white case I guess :S

i know it was a long time ago but did you find one in the end? I have been having the same problem and tried google, ebay, amazon. Lots for all other models but not found for the htc one x.

I just randomly checked xda today after very long time, very lucky to see this but unfortunately I did not find any. Bought zagg, and while it fits great, it isn't durable at all and it's expensive.

Just a warning, I bought a tempered glass screen protector on Aliexpress, however I received a screen protector for a One S. I disputed with the seller and got a refund, but they stated that if this model didn`t fit then they didn`t have any that would. It`s unlikely there are any tempered glass screen protectors available for the One X at the present date.

Best Tempered Glass Screen Protector

What is the best one for the One?
I only want to spend around 12-15 GBP and would prefer it if it was within the UK.
Any suggestions and if you have one yourself?

I've ordered XtremeGuard with the 80% off code from this thread.

I got this for under $10. It's been great so far. Shipping was slow though.

Flat edged protectors are prone to chipping along the edges so look for one with tapered or rounded edges.
Have a look at the Mobile Fun website.... the cheapest is a liitle more than you need though.
I use the Spigen SGP HTC One GLAS.tR SLIM Tempered Glass Screen Protector which is superb but rather pricey.

So the chambered is round edges

I also didn't like the built in screen protector, because it ugly
but without the built in screen protector, do the phone loose on the case???

I love HTC one for it's Design , and i think this cases make it ugly , i but the phone to enjoy it

I used it for a while without the screen protector, case was snug against the phone. I'm not a huge fan of cases though so mine is now naked.
