Advance power menu for Sense Gingerbread 2.3.5 EU
I reversed engineer salsa port rom smali's and patch some codes in wildfire s gb rom, took me 2 days to complete studying the blueprints.
Requirements:
-ROM should be deodexed
DOWNLOAD
How to install:
Flash zip in Recovery - takes time to boot
I also made a new ROM with these feature it is also deodexed see in my Custom ROM thread.
DON'T FORGET THE THANKS BUTTON

Edit: works perfectly. If you don't mind, I'll have insink71 throw this in his next build.

Nice work. There a guy on glacier's forum that has built the wifi calling into the kernel from salsa. This dev stuff gets better and better. Nice kernel; nice mod. Mind if I use and credit you?

Can't you please provide this power menu for the odexed rom?
Had no advantage in terms of speed by changing to deodexed because Data2SD doesn't like my phone/memory card.
I use your odexed rom with kernel from 12/01/12, Link2SD, AGPS-fix patch, MMS language patch and I love it.
I saw the power menu working and would really appreciate if you could provide an odexed version. Thanks for your roms. I praise your reverse engineering skills and all the work you've done.
Would be happy to buy you some beers... I'm serious!

Well, all these great mods require to be deodexed.
This mod is applied to android.policy.jar, an odex rom contains this file and also the same odex file. Modding the first file would result in a not booting rom.
So deodexed rom or nothing.

hey m cooking a rom in dsixda's kitchen.. just for my need and not for people..
when i deodex my rom i cooked then it takes hell lot of time to boot..
so can you just tell me which files are needed to be deodexed for this ?

Hi, my wildfire currently is running flash with the kwbr custom rom but I don't like the original htc wildfire lockscreen. I try to use the UOT Kitchen to change the lockscreen style but the lockscreen does not change.
Could anybody please help. Thanks !!

Hey guys I want to know which kernel is best with cm7.2 nightlys and which is best custom 3.5 sense rom available for wfs. Please provide download links. Thank you.

Cm7.2 has its own kernel built in.
Sense kernel, one of the jikanturu depending which android version eg. 2.3.5

I want with sense 3.5 android version 2.3.5 or higher. Nightlys cm7.2 zip size is only 89.5 mb it includes kernel?

I would sure recommend .sense (see pat da punk's post) as soon as Beta 2.0.1 comes out. Beta 2.0 still needs lots of bugfixes, which Benjamin is busy on right now. He said it would be done either tonight or tomorrow.
CyanogenMod doesn't have Sense, in case you didn't yet know that. Both of the aforementioned ROMs come with their own kernels.

Basically CM7 can't work with a sense kernel and sense can't work with a CM7 kernel

Dont install apk you must copy
and paste to system/app then
change permissions to rw r r
then reboot phone

i have installed the apk in /system/app , changed permission , reboot ....still no change.

What do I need to change, so I can copy it from my sd card to system/app?
I use Astro file manager.
Android version 2.3.5

You are only allowed to read the system files. Install root explorer or es file explorer and check in the settings: Root, mount system as writeable or something like that. Then try again.

nice work man! i really loved the clock widget.. ive searched a lot for sense 4 clock widget but none of them is as decent as yours.. is it possible that u would extract and make just a widget out of it... cuz dat would be totally great.

its possible to edit HtcClockWidget.apk but you would have to push apk to
system/app via adb and fastboot

[Q]How to remove HTC Sense ?

Hi everyone. Is it possible to remove HTC Sense from stock ROM when Iam using ADWLauncher or LauncherPRO ? Which apk files I have to uninstall when I want to remove HTC Sense ?

Yes. I want to remove Sense launcher. I found RosieUtility.apk in titanium backup. It is only this one ? And of course I will remove HTC widgets too. Thanks much.
