4g icons for Maguro aokp - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I been looking for 4g icons instead of H for status bar, dies anyone know of any good ones, before I take the leap and make some? Thanks arcane

Just download an LTE ROM and unzip it, take the icons out. Name them as you want and replace the H icons with them. Or a little more advanced you could make a flashable zip to replace 'em.

You can unzip any other ics rom. The all have all the icons possible. You can just delete the H and rename 4G to h.

Yeah.. me too... any luck?
Could always just download a LTE ROM and unzip it and find the 4G icon from there. They're all in there.
Here you go guys

Not looking to theme the whole phone just those icons.

Try Jrummy's Rom Toolbox Pro. In the theme manager section there's an option to change individual icons

downloaded the toobox and dont really see any options to update the system icons that i want to update only.
Anyone know of a flash file to do this.. make the wifi, alarm, battery, data/signal white over the normal system ui grey?
Thanks.
Pull them from a theme and put them in your own zip will probably be the easiest. Just don't release to public calling it your build without credit and permission from the owner of the theme

Help Changing Signal Icons in Status Bar

I flash tons of roms and I love all of them. The only issue I have is when flashing some roms that are ported from other carriers (eg t-moble) I only get 3G and 4G icons showing in the status bar. I’m with Telus in Canada and I live in a LTE area. I know I’m getting LTE but I would just like to see that little LTE icon showing. Some roms I flash the LTE fix but that don’t always change the icons to show LTE either. Would there be a way for someone to make a flashable zip that would change these icons to 3G, 4G and LTE? A zip that could be used on any ported rom? Kinda like the stock icons. If someone could it would be great.

Sounds interesting... but it sounds like something that would have to be done with every individual Rom not a universal zip flash. You could also try going in and changing the file yourself in the filesystem.

Any tips on how or where?
Try starting by looking at the link in my signature. It was originally written with Captivate in mind, but should apply on nearly every android based Samsung device.

Thank you so much. Lol

I have a tmobile GS3. How can I implement or put the 4G icon from Verizon instead?

Any idea how I can do this? The verizon 4g icon is sweet. I wonder if this is possible. I see it on a few ROMs here and there just dont know if it will show up that way if Im running on tmobile because multicarrier etc..
For example there is the SynergyROM and i see that 4g icon.. just not sure if flashing that ROM will put me on that 4g icon too..
thanks
the only way to do it is using morphology check the thread
thanks so much man
You can decompile your systemui.apk and change the icons to whatever you want the recompile and there you go. Easy peasy.

Just open the systemui.apk in the 7-zip, replace your like image with the image inside [res/drawable-xhdpi] folder. Just make sure that your new image must be the same file size, file type, and file name.
The tmo 4.1.2 has a 4g icon not H+.
random easy fix haha
i just flashed jovy's darth stalker and he has it baked in! what a surprise.! lol

LTE signal icon in white?

I've been searching, and not having much luck. Now that I have LTE enabled on my N4, I'd like to have my 4G icon read LTE. The catch is that all my status bar icons are white, and I can't seem to find the icons I need. Anyone have a source?
I'm running Nova Launcher on SlimBean ROM, if that makes a difference.

Well u can either decompile the SysUi.apk and change the color of the icons or do it with 7zip. But if u are a not comfortable doing either of those try ROM toolbox in the play store it has a 4g LTE icon hope this helps
