Uninstalling Google+ from Bionic Cow v7 - Samsung Galaxy W I8150

I've recently started to use Bionic Cow v7. I noticed that, compared to the stock rom, the Google+ app is installed by default.
I tried to remove it from Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications
but it doesn't seem possible.
How can I remove it since I don't use it?

Use titanium backup to do it~

done, thank you
hopefully the application isn't necessary. I don't understand why it has been included in the system applications.

It is simply because of android is owned by Google. So whatever google apps they think are useful will be added as system apps.

Titanium Backup - how to use

Hello,
I like to flash new roms but I hate having to add all my accounts (Google, Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, etc) after.
Can someone please tell me where I can find instructions to use Titanium? I would like to backup apps, settings (including ring tone, notifications) accounts.
I am rooted on CNA nightly rom.
Thanks,
Anything system should never be restored.

Could be just me, but I personally backup/restore few system "apps", such as data manager and SMS and Google stuff and never had problems... Should I not do that? I personally never had any issue with doing that..
I never use tib to restore system apps either, just user apps. I think with jelly bean, it restores all of my wireless networks, background image and "some" system settings like my owner info. All of the other stuff (email accounts, Google permissions) I have to redo over again.

Thanks for your replies. A couple questions:
1) In developer options do I enable adb bugging and select it as a debug app?
2) Do I enable installation from unknown sources?

1. Yes to debugging, no to add it as an app
2. Yes enable unknown sources. Although I don't think it is absolutely needed anymore. Won't hurt anything thoigh. TB will tell you if you need it.

This is only for installation of a non-market app, you don't need this checked to allow TiBU to do its job.
For what it's worth, I haven't been able to get tb to actually backup the accounts section like I used to in 2.1/2.2/2.3/4.0. It just hasn't worked so I just manually setup accounts stuff again.
But I do backup WiFi settings, data manager, call log, and dictionary and haven't had any issues, but YMMV.

I don't back up accounts, I just re-enter it manually. And the other stuff I mentioned, I use tb.

You could always try experimenting, but the risk you take is if the rom developer (or different Gapps version) makes some type of change that might cause a problem.

Are LG G4 stock apps available for DL?

I went a little too far with removing some of the default LG apps after rooting and I'm getting odd issues now. I'd like to reinstall apps vs. reimage the stock setup if possible.
Does anyone know where I can grab all the stock apps for the G4?
If you install LG Smartworld, you can download all the LG apps again.
it's also accessible here: http://www.lgappstv.com/
Thanks for the suggestion but it looks like the applications I need aren't in this store. So far it looks like I need to reinstall LG Lifetracker, LG Backup and LG Air drive.

There is somewhere you can download them. I thought it was that app. it must be another LG app somewhere, because I had to use it to download and install the FM Radio app.
Found it!
Settings - About Phone - Update Centre - Software Update.
Your missing apps are in there for download
It claims all apps are installed. I wonder if I didn't fully delete the apps with Tibu so it thinks I still have them.

Why don't you just reapply the rooted system.IMG you used while rooting. That will give you all your apps back
I tried that and it didn't for whatever reason.

I almost wonder if perhaps you had frozen the apps at some point prior to uninstalling them cause if you did, when you reinstall stuff tibu would pick up that you want them frozen and they would be gone again. Flashing the system installs all the crap that's included in stock so this is the only logical reason I can think of that would be causing your issue

I have the LGUSMms.apk installed, I see it in folders, in app drawer, but when I click it, it says app not installed, won't open. I redid the rooted image, still the same. Any ideas?
VS986 (LG G4)

Rooted: Managing users apps from main owner's account?

I've rooted my Tab S 8.5 and have installed SU, Root Explorer and Titanium Pro. I was able to easily freeze and remove a bunch of the samsung garbage that came stock but I'm not sure where to find the apps for ALL users. Is there a way for my admin account to dive into the root for the entire OS and remove/freeze apps and processes? I'm a little rusty around here. I haven't rooted since my Droid Incredible.
Also, I installed SU on both users, so that should keep the other user from root access. I'm hoping to avoid buying another copy of Titanium for the other user. Am I able to simply copy it from my user data to the other?
Why don't you just use system app remover, it's free.

You mean the built-in android app remover? Even though it's rooted, it won't remove apps that were baked into the stock ROM. Only gives me the option to uninstall updates like it did stock.

A debloater for OnePlus 5 (really any OxygenOS, but I only have OP5 now). Allows for removal of a lot of pre-installed apps. All apps are user selected. Can trim down and remove unused apps.
Hi,
I tried it with new OOS 4.57 and did not delete any Gapp
For system apps related to Oneplus like logskit and so on, it was ok and working like a charm.

Interesting comment as my long time debloat app System app remover (ROOT) wasn't able to remove Gapps apps (Google Music, Google Movie/TV) either. I'm trying to make /system room for installing V4ARISE but after this latest OTA there is not enough /system space left.
In fact that's why I'm looking at this debloat method. I wonder if the issue you observed is why the app I'd previously used no longer works. Unless I find something better I'll likely try Titanium Backup's uninstall method but I was looking for a way to batch clean up which I suspect would need to get done after every OTA.
EDIT: Using Titanium Backup to backup then uninstall worked. I removed Duo (~20Mg) to recovery the space I needed.

I am using also Titanium Backup for Gapps but freezing them rather than un-install.
Today, I tried deeper aroma script and I can uninstall every bloatware less Gapps (Chrome, Gmail,...)

@physwizz
You don't need even root to debloat. It can be done by running an elevated command and disabling the applications.
I've been using Package Disabler for years.
Very valuable for troubleshooting. It can also completely clear system app data that you can't normally completely delete in app settings.

Yes.
This can be done quite easily but it can be a long and difficult process for less experienced users.
Firstly you need to make a list of which apps can be safely deleted (I found 72)
Then spend an hour or more deleting them manually.

The problem with doing that is there are some apps you'll want to be able to toggle on/off easily on the fly.
Most don't even know exactly what all they're disabling... what could go wrong?

Yeah.
Most of the apps I delete are hidden system apps that are not needed at all.
They're not in the apps drawer so I wouldn't be turning then on and off.

A sample of some of mine. Some are worthless, some just resting.
This app also allows direct internet searches for the app in question. I play around here when bored sometimes.
Disabled the wrong package and a boot loop could be the reward. There's a couple apps I never touch.
Lol, little Bixby is the first to go
