[Q] Notification Bar Icons

Hi
I Have A Sense Rom On Desire Hd No Problems Yet, I Just Need To Change The Notification Bar Icons ( Battery, Wifi signal...) I Would Like Them To Look Like Cyanogenmod. I Just Need To Know Is It Possible And How To. Can Someone Help Me Please I Like Sense Rom But I Want To Change The Notification Bar Icons.

There are many Themes in the "Themes and Apps section" for most DHD roms. Or you go to http://uot.dakra.lt/ and make your self a nice theme there.
You can change everything you want on this site.
There is also an app in the market called "metamorph"
But you need to be rooted and have CWM recovery.
Always make a backup of your rom before you flash any theme because you can get into bootloop sometimes and so you aleay can go back to stock.

I Checked Up The Website That U Gave Me And Its Just What I Want But There Is One Problem When I Need To Upload The SystemUI.apk And The Framework-res.apk And Thr Com.htcresources.apk I Am A Root User And I Maneged To Locate Them But When I Press The Upload Button Automaticly Adobe Flash Player Opens And A Folder Named Upload Comes Out And Its Empty
The Problem Is I Cant Upload These Files.Should I Put Them In A Specific Folder? OR what Should I Do?

I do this from my PC. Open the downloaded Rom (.zip) with winrar or 7zip search for the files you need (use search button and copy & paste the filenames from browser) and copy them out of the .zip file. Then you go to the browser (on PC) and upload them. You will get a number and have to wait till it's finish (5min - 1hour). When it's finish you can download it as a .zip file and flash it in recovery.
I never tried to upload it from the phone.
It's very simple.

{REQUEST}ICS original or changed system icons(battery,vibrate..etc) for a noob

Hello all,
Because i messed up my system icons trying to change them i need new ones but i dont know where to get them. If anyone kind enough has a spare icon pack i can use them to make them ics blue or just keep them as a backup.

You can get them from a stock ROM zip by deompiling the apk they came from. (SystemUI/ framework-res, etc.)

Thanks but i have tried that i just open the rom and there is nothing there it says empty. Can u guide me how to decompile it??

Opening the ROM isn't the same as decompiling. If all you need are .png images, rename the .apk to .zip, open it, then navigate to /res/drawable or similar and select the icons you need and drag them to the desktop.

Thanks, i m downloadeing a new rom right now and i l tell u how its goes. I m gonna try to make some ICS blue system icons too.

[Q] How to replace statusbar icons with the icons from a theme?

Hi Everyone,
I got an other question.I'am using AOSP ICS mmb rom,currently.I want to change its statusbar icon with icons from a theme.I have bought CM10/CM9 Touchwiz theme,from it I want to replace stock icons.I have changed the icons once,but it was from another ROM.
Can anyone tell me which files I must have to copy from touchwiz.apk to systenUI.apk because Touchwiz.apk has all the icons for firmware-res.apk and systemUI.apk.
Can any one help me on that.......

I have learned how to change the icons from the theme(thanks to my mind ).But the problem is that the icons are way to big and doesn't fit on SG Gio's screen.
Can anyone help me out? plz help.

If you want an app to modify the icons, search for NinjaMorph app.

I know about NinjaMorph.I was asking that to change the lockscreen,changing icons do the trick or we have to do something else.

You can change the size of the file icon using Photoshop or AnyPicImageResize via computer

I don't know for exact size, but my advice to determine appropriate size enough extracted (using Winrar) apk file that you want to modify!
after apk file is extracted, check the res folder (the folder where the files are xml and icon files)

[Q] Bootanimation problem

Hello there
My team made bootanimation for xperia s , and convert it to photos with .jpg .
So when installing and rebooting for 3seconds the boot showing up then white screen show up !
Anybody can help me to fix it ?

You cant have too many frames in the loop part
You cant have files sizes too big
Also check grammar im desc.txt

Not working :/

Werid, i cant figure it out
Here is a list of posible problems
Files arent named properly
Desc.txt has a typo
Files are too many
Files are too big
File could be corrupt
If a its a white flash on the loop part, then you may have too many files in the loop
If its just a white screen, im not realy sure, ask a bootanim dev

need help for applying a farmework mod

hi all
as you see in my sig im working on a new rom but i have a big problem now
im trying to use this mod for porting xperia z lockscreen but its not working
i getting some problems when i wanna recompile setting.apk
can anyone help me?
here are my files (well my settings is a little different but don't worry make it with this one then i will theme the setting again)

Could you post the log containing errors you get when recompiling?
I don't have a pc to test it myself right now, but I should help knowing what errors you're facing

My skills are little rusty, but here is compiled settings.apk
If it's not working, post/upload framework-res.apk and i'll try it again

well this setting didnt work
but i made a working one myself :victory:
but now something else is not working(when i click on lockscreen in setting, setting will force close )
thanks for your help i gave me the idea that why mine wasn't getting compiled again

Oh, sorry, just now i see that you need it for cm9 (second post), not cm10 (first post on that guide). It was recompiled without errors, i assumed it worked.
But i couldn't recompile android-policy.jar
Too much differense in smali files or i used wrong ones
