Galaxy S2 Bootlogo

Bootlogo, shutdown & battery charging logo from SGS2. Enjoy!
CWM package, apply via Recovery.

I installed Goatrip's ROM which includes the new boot and shutdown from the SGS2. If I flash this, will that screw anything up? I would like to get the new battery charging thing but just want to make sure I won't encounter any problems installing it.

Before install please take a look into your ROM, if you have the same files inside your ROM then this would simply replace it with new ones, nothing to lose

Can you post screenshots please? I would like to be certain what it is exactly.

I checked it already, looks really nice. First a space scene with stars then this forms into the Samsung logo. Don't know how else to describe it. Had 1 FC on start and eventually restored back to my normal setup with nandroid.

How about bootsound and turn-off sound? Also, can you make a CWM package to restore the original? (or a link if there's already).

Install as stated in O.P just as you would on Version 1...

So it don't need to be ported, just metamorph... Ummm aboutto try in well report in a couple.

All you have to do is FLASH IT!!! Its UNIVERSAL...You also have the option to MetaMorph if you dont want the WHOLE THEME!! Just BITS and PIECES!! I recommend Scrolling down to the "Universal Theme Download" and Flash the HELL out of it...WORKS PERFECT for me...I'm using "EpicAOSPMod V-1...It is SUPER SMOOTH and in my opinion the best COLORS this PHONE has SEEN!!! I DONT LIE!!! Flash it and YOU BE THE JUDGE!!! It looks EXACTLY like "EYE CANDY THEME" I used to run on the CYANOGEN ROMS for all my other phones...LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK???

Did you wipe?

Try and wipe cache and dalvik...It worked for me...Im using EpicAOSPMod v-1..You shouldn't have any problems with it as it is UNIVERSAL...Try again...Let me know if it worked out...I still want to try your theme but I'm gonna wait till you have it a little more developed..I know it looks AMAZING right now but this theme is gonna hold me over till yours is closer to final...I hope your able to use the dialer from this one cause its the nicest one I've seen yet..

Did you wipe cache and Dalvik first..Are you using CWM to flash and I would try flashing again..I've only tried it with EpicAOSPMod V-1 rom and stock kernel...It is"Universal"so I would think it should work for all others...Try it again wiping cache and Dalvik and let me know how you make out!!

I think ROMS with NO CIQ is CAUSING ALL THE F.C'S!!
Guys..I think it may be ROMS that have NO CIQ that is causing all the Force closes..I just remembered...I tried installing a similar theme on my AEMOD and had recieved the same PROBLEMS...That has to be the PROBLEM... Sorry guys...I will change the O.P and state to look out for that...There is a member who installed it also and had NO PROBLEMS...I wil lPM him and ask which Rom he is using..

I install this on I fresh flash (Wiped 3x ) on StarBurst ROM[10/9/11] [v1.5]
without any problems besides gmail FC. I just remove it and put the old on back in.

The screenshots are sick. I want to flash it but I am on a noCIQ ROM and don't want to screw it up. Plus, I'm using Launcher Pro instead of TW. Is this going to be workable for my situation, later?

I am on midnight rom 2.1 with no ciq and have no probems with thise theme . I am really loving this theme only close second to watermarked theme we used to have for droid og.

you say to wipe data + cache + dalvik 3 times, wont that delete profile and everything on my phone which has starburst 10/8 nightly installed?
if i wipe data? that sometimes causes phone to freeze because I would not be installing a rom afterwards?
if i want to install the newest version of starburst (v1.5) and this theme, what are the best steps to take to do it?

Hello buddies ! I made this bootanimation with a friend. It's supposed to be a fake factory reset. So whenever you start your phone it will appear as it is going into recovery, scroll down to wipe data/factory reset. It will fake a factory reset.
Requirements:
Root
Custom recovery image
A non-stock rom
Optional: Backup of current bootanimation
Downloads:
Clockworkmod fake factory reset
PX recovery fake factory reset
RZ recovery fake factory reset
Ramscript prank
Installation:
Reboot into recovery
Choose install zip from sdcard
Navigate and pick "CWMfakefactory", RZFakefactory, Ramscript_v1.3 or "PXfakefactory"
Install it
Reboot and enjoy
How to prank friends:
Make sure they have an MDPI device
Send them the link to "Ramscript_v1.3"
If they don't belive you, send them link to this post
Tell them flashing instructions (flash in recovery)
Let them reboot and watch their reactions XD

Yeah, it would be easier, but it's not that hard. The only problem is that root explorer is a payd app, however, some people that won't pay; use es file explorer and check in setting 'root' options on. Maybe it will help some people!

What to expect in next release:
-Much easier applying, flash through recovery (managed to get it work, I just have to ask for a permission or 2 before I can release)
-Fix bugs in PX bootanimation.
-remove the screamer.
Expect in a few days

[WIP]Bootanimation Pure Android

WEll, i'm back with another boot animation!
This time it is like, pure android, but i have to say, part0 can be made smoother and part1 is probably getting a complete new look (thats why WIP), but for now; is it this. Look in the atrachment for a screenshot, but there happens alot more I don't know what is on the screenshots right now, bcuz I picked them random, so dont blaim me if there's a black screen as screenshot
How to install:
Use file explorer with root acces:
1. Copy bootanimation.zip to your sd
2. Copy it from SD to /system/media
3. Replace it with original bootanimation.zip
4. Reboot and enjoy
Small update is out: just add and removed some frames and maked it faster

[BOOTANIMATION] SGS2 CM9 Cid Boot animation

I created a boot animation with the new CyanogenMod mascot 'Cid' to use on your SGS2 until the new CM9 boot animation is finished.

I should precise that I am on CM9 (latest build),using Siyah and with Black infinitum and Gapps inverted.This gapps zip have changed the boot logo and perphaps it's causing the issue
Any idea or advise about this ?

It's not a CWM flashable zip, you can install it by placing it in /system/media/bootanimation.zip to do this you should remount /system/ as writable (or use a root explorer).

Dude, just put the file in /data/local/bootanimation.zip, and it'll override the default one! Note that a factory reset will also delete the custom boot animation.

could someone provide a proper dl-mirror? that'll be dayum nice :-D
