[Q] No 3G

Hello!
I don't understand. Epic 4G has 3G. Activated Epic 4G Touch -- (same area) -- no 3G.
Is it only me so lucky? How to fix it?
Rom -- Stock EG30.
Help, please?

Did you go to mobile networks to activate the 3g?
Did you just get the phone today or what im lost.
Did you flash a kernel by any chance or any rooting perhaps etc?
Did you reboot the phone and try 3g again?
Does your 4g work?

I've bought the phone 3 days ago but today in the morning I've reactivated Epic 4g l. Then I decided to give it one more shot I activated Epic 4g Touch online.
3G. Isl Activated in the settings but not working
4g is working
Not installed any kernel, just stok and what was in the clockworkmod 5. But before I did it I checked. There was no 3g

Thank you! I did call them and 3g is working now.

[Q] Sprint Galaxy S2 flashed to Metro PCS

Hello,
I have a Sprint Galaxy S2 flashed to Metro PCS and everything works GREAT!
EXCEPT 4G... i get good 3G internet but when i try to use 4G it tries to connect to sprint. How can i get my phone to use Metro PCS 4G???

I'm pretty new at all this, but it sounds like a PRL issue...you should have a PRL file that includes the Metro 4G.

Metropcs uses LTE 4g and our phones are Wimax 4g, so sorry but no working 4g on your phone,

There is NO WAY you can get 4g to work...but I'm surprised you got mms working...i have been trying to get mine going...

[Q] HTC Evo 4G fully flashed to Metro PCS NO WEB

I recently bought a Sprint HTC Evo 4G fully flashed to Metro PCS, but I can't seem to connect to the internet unless I use wifi. It has MetroDroid v.4 running on the phone. I'm new to this, so if anyone can help, please feel free to comment. Thanks in advance!

Bloodykiller86 has full instructions on getting data working on metropcs. I used his guide on my evo and it worked like a charm. Try googling it

Question about Flashing to Straight Talk Verizon

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, But my question is I have been trying to port my SGH-L900 to straight talk, because in my area verizon is the best, and sprint is just crap when it comes to data and signal strength. I have everything working according to this guide, but for some reason the only data service I get is 1x and not 3g, I don't know if it is because of something with my data profiles, HA or AAA, or my DMU10 key? Any help would be appreciated, and Thanks in advance.

Confused...Straight Talk runs off AT&T & T-Mobile networks, depending on which SIM you order...they don't have anything to do with Verizon. Soooo...maybe not possible to get the Sprint Note2 flashed to Straight Talk with 3G?

if you want to use Straight Talk I would just but the International Unlocked version of the note2.

I used a LG220c witch does run on the verizon network, I had my galaxy S2 running fine on verizon, steps were to use a samsung fascinate donor phone, clone the lg220c esn and meid to the fascinate, then clone the fascinate to the S2. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1473141

Hi i have Galaxy s3 ATT i747 unlocked and every ROM i install give me 3G.. If i leave stock ROM it gives me 4G with know problems.. Is there any fix i can do that will give me 4G and modem i can install. Im on tmobile network

Can you see your IMEI number? I lost mine while flashing roms and the network couldn't recognize my phone, so it booted me down to 3g (but I'm on ATT).

Do your roms have the correct apn's?

I'm having connectivity challenges when trying 4.2.2 roms on Rogers w/ my i747m.
Tried most of the recommended modems on for i747m (complete modem list) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1831898
with CM10.1 and AOKP Task650.
The result, at worst little to no connectivity, at best intermittent connectivity. It doesn't seem to want to switch between towers and getting connectivity better than gprs or edge is pretty much non-existent
When I burn the rooted Rogers ROM - root66_RWC_I747MVLDLK4.tar.md5 I get good connectivity switching and 3G. I haven't seen LTE yet but it was only officially rolled out here 9 days ago so it's still crap and only partially out.
I'm about to roll back to the rooted ROM and apply the latest Canadian patch via KIES and give up on S3 mods. If some kind canadian has the time or inclination a faq/step by step on a S3 rogers install that actually works would be very appreciated. I've tried most of the recipes on XDA, task650, cyanomodgen and can't seem to come up with a working combination that gives me data/phone service that is at least as good as stock.

This may be correct. Do other ROMs switch between 3G and H+? Do you see 4G vice 4G LTE on stock rom? What download speeds are you getting on stock and other ROMs? With AT&T, HSPA was labeled 4G instead of H or H+. They had to add LTE to the 4G after LTE went online for them in order to differentiate a difference. The majority of places have HSPA labeled as H or H+ and LTE is considered true 4G. I have noticed that many ROMs will show 3G until data is received/sent and it switches to H+.
