I just installed desire z gingerbread rom and I found out the mms size really tiny and I flashed rmk_mms fix.zip in recovery menu. The mms size was increase to 3600k but when i sent the picture message it's still tiny. What should i do to fix this problem?
One thing to check is to see if ur friend sent you a small picture or something bigger. My friend sent me a 7kb pic the last time and didnt tell me that. Try have someone send a pic that is close to the mms max size and see if the pic is still tiny.

Spastic909 - The op's were several days apart so I guess the solution was found and its something else.
I can only guess the MMS fix fixes the OUTGOING messages. Incomming messages are resized if your operator (eg. O2 UK for me) doesn't recognise your phone. Gingerbread probably changed the string.
Look for modifying the user agent string in the MMS app and change it to something like the Nokia N95. You'll find the string on Google somewhere.

Hi everyone.
I have a "feature" on my GN that i want to fix somehow.
When I set a picture to any of my contact, the picture is getting blurry and ugly. This was present in the earlier versions of android when synced to google account.
To somehow manage the problem I've tried turning off the google sync but I wasn't lucky at all. Pictures are still buggy and ugly.
If anybody knows how to fix this issue, please comment below. I would really appreciate it.
C'mon Google, with this gorgeous screen you wan't us to look at those ugly contact pictures? It's awful! Fix this, please!
Google confirmed a change to the google contacts thumbnail is in the works.

They said they were working on it a few months ago on a Google+ topic. But haven't offered any update regarding the progress. They need to change the gmail contacts photos to a higher resolution. There are 3rd party apps that offer temporary solutions or you can locally assign photos to contacts but none of these are permanent solutions.
You could use haxsync to sync HQ Facebook pics. It works well

I am not having this problem since a long time...
I have added (sort-of) hi-res contact pictures on my phone manually (720x240 pixels, ok not really hi-res but still better than 96x96) and synced with google, and pics on the phone stay at hi-res
We need to put some pressure on Google to fix the Low resolution contact images that are synced with using GMail.
Please +1 the following post: https://plus.google.com/109941711245...ts/PwRx3SHNbjR and try to get #AndroidLowResContactPics trending.

Tell your friends
Hi guys,
As you may be know, MIUI has Facebook synchronization that can provide Contact photos using your friends profile pictures. These contact photos appear on the upper left corner of the screen when someone calls you or when you call somebody. On the other side MIUI provides caller photos which can be chosen from your Gallery and appear on full screen when someone calls you.(* Take a look at the attached picture)
My question is as follows: Is there any option MIUI to use facebook profile pictures of my friends as Caller photos not just Contact photos.
Thank you very much!
You could try sync my pix. It's in the market and it's free.

Hi, I've tried using Syncmypix but it synchronizes only my contact photos, I really want to synchronize my caller photos with the facebook ones..

Moving to Q&A
I'm having the same issue.
It's a pretty basic scenario: You sync your Facebook contacts with any of the so-many-available apps (that also allows to save very high-resolution photos), and now you want the photos to display fullscreen when the contact calls you... but, you can't. It will only display "caller" photos that are manually chosen from the local gallery. Why? because... just like that.
Anyone found a solution?
Thanks
hd contact photo maybe?
or this?

Hey Wildfire Users,
i just get a problem, while using ErwinPs newest ICS Version for the Wildfire (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1473344&page=91).
If i want to look up pictures and go into the "app" "Gallery" there a now folders or albums. There is black in the whole screen.
But (!) if i want to switch to another page, by pushing the screen with my finger, there are my picture folders. And if i let my finger off the screen, there is only black.
And if i click on a picture, i can't see them on the screen.
Funny, isn't it?
So could anybody help me please?
Thanks

That is a well known bug of CM9 at the moment.
The only way to fix it is to download a third party gallery app (Quickpic is a good one)
Oh man thanks!
I read so many pages in Erwins Thread, but i didn't found anything like that.
Tank you
try looking at first post, also called OP there is listed what works, few things that dont and some tips to fix them..
after few attempts i found that you can view pics in standard gallery, but you need to zoom after opening a photo...anyway quickpic works perfectly,as stated before...

hi guys! my app Phorganizer has systemic problems with HTC ONE X and others HTC devices. I wanted to ask if someone could help me figure out what errors involves the app. unfortunately the only feedback that I have are the negative comments from the market, but these are not very useful to solve the problem, also because these feedback do not explains these errors.
Isn't there someone that could download and test Phorganizer? I unfortunately do not have a HTC ONE X and do not know anyone that has one.
eventually, here is the official thread : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1533263
