Need help with drivers ;/ - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

hey guys, i want to change build from yakjuxw to pure google, but phone is being not detected in my win 7 x64. i tried every single driver (pdanet, naked drivers, samsung universal usb, even drivers from kies) and all the time i get "Fastboot command read error -2147483647" on my phone, wtf guys ?

thats not a problem with your USB drivers. its something to do with your fastboot/adb environment that is set up incorrectly causing that.

Anyone had similar problem?

Galaxy Nexus USB connection problem

I have 2 Galaxy Nexus phones. One is rooted and recognized by my W7 64bit PC. The other one I got today and it's brand new, locked bootloader and I can't get the computer to recognize it. I tried installing Samsung USB drivers, PDANet for Android, Universal Naked Driver and whatnot but they don't seem to install correctly. I read somewhere that old HTC drivers might stand on the way of the Samsung drivers but I don't seem to find any installed. Also why is a rooted device recognized and not rooted isn't?
I'm running 4.0.4 build IMM76K.I9250XWLD2
Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dex

Well that guide does nothing to me. I have NO problem installing drivers, i have problems getting them to work.. I have the signed ones and they work fine to install BUT i have issues with the phone.
This time unpluging and re pluging it it was identified as a modem in fastboot which means there is some other issue then just installing my drivers..
Some other issue? Sure, the operating system.

[Q] Note 2 usb problem

Hi all,
heres my first post on xda and I just wanna to explain my problem.
I am in possession of a GT-N7105, just bought the USB connection worked perfectly but when I tried to install the CF-ROOT and CWM RECOVERY me no more, the PC recognized the phone.
I state that I had installed windows 8.
First of all I installed Samsung KIES and did not recognize him. I uninstalled Kies and installed the drivers using the NOTE 2 TOOLKIT. Even so, nothing to do. The computer can not find the driver for QUALCOMM CDMA TECHNOLOGIES MSM.
I thought it was an error of Windows 8, maybe a bug, so I formatted the system by installing Windows 7 Professional, downloaded NOTE 2 TOOLKIT and installed the drivers without having the phone connected to the PC. When the TOOLKIT required me to connect to the pc NOTE2, I did. But even here, unfortunately, can not find drivers for QUALCOMM CDMA TECHNOLOGIES MSM.
P.S. The phone in DOWNLOAD MODE is recognized by ODIN and I got it back to the SERVICE FIRMWARE but even so the problem is not resolved.
I also tried to change the usb port but nothing.
I tried to install other versions of firmware via odin but nothing. I do not know what to do. Google can not give me a solution and not XDA.
So I decided to write here publicly to expose my problem. I hope someone of you can help me solve this problem that prevents me from installing the CM10.1!
In advance thank you all.

I have the same pb My N7105 with Qualcomm CDMA...
hello
i have the same pb , Win 7 64 dont find qualcomm cdma technologies msm driver
where find it for WIN 7 X64?
thx by advance.
I have windows 8 as well and couldn't get my computer to recognize it no matter how much I updated the drivers and such. But I ended up going into control panel and clicking on devices and hardware or whatever it's called. Go to the note 2 icon (not sure exactly what it will be called but something like Samsung device), right click and hot troubleshoot. This actually solved the problem for me and hopefully helps you.

Guys try this,
On your PC >Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services
Start "Windows Installer" service
connect your device with USB
Kiss your girl, drink a beer, make a little jig and hit my thank button lol
Make sure that there is no other conflicting drivers installed if u hv delete those uninstall samsung drivers restart pc. Install samsung latest drivers restart connect the cable to phn thn to pc it will start installing drivers just cancel the updates and you r good to go it will detect fine

The best driver are already installed

Hello guys,
When trying to flash the recovery, I had an issue with the drivers. I have already successfully unlock the Flo, and installed the right Google Drivers.
When I try to "fastboot flash recovery recovery-twrp.img", it says <waiting for device> and nothing happen.
The problem is : i didn't succeed to replace the drivers Google instead of the old driver USB MTP.
When I try to change by my self it says : "The best driver is already installed".
I have done sooo many researches on Internet...
Have you some ideas pleaase ?
Thank you,
ChargementEnCours
Try using the tool by wugfresh for installing drivers. I had the same issue with drivers, but I don't remember exactly what I did to fix it.

This is what I use and it works with all versions of Android that I have used..
Its a universal driver for most Android devices.. It has never failed me

Install this driver in Your Device Manager.. First Uninstall the old or current one your using..
then install the driver.. it also works on my Windows 10 test machine...
Edit: You might want to disable Device Driver Signing.. In case the driver refuses to install.

I had exactly the same problem even after re-installing drivers etc nothing appeared to work. Prior to updating to Lollipop I did a factory reset (set up from new) and since then my PC has no problems seeing the Nexus 7. So as painful as it is you could always try a factory reset.
Sounds like you may have the wrong drivers in Windows.
The WUG toolkit has a script that you can follow that will walk you through manually removing all the drivers in Windows. That usually will get you straightened out.
