Trexcell Extended Battery Case? - General Accessories

Got my 3800 mAh Trexcell battery and loving the extra power...but not loving the fact that I can't seem to find a case for it. Anyone seen anything that would fit? Trexcell makes one for the Epic 4G but I can't seem to find one for the Galaxy Nexus yet.
Thanks for any help.

Mugen 1800mAh battery

Is anyone using the mugen 1800mah extended battery? If so I was wondering how much time you got with it vs the stock battery. So far it is the strongest battery I could find that still uses the stock battery cover.
I'm using a different 1800mah battery off ebay, and I can say I'm very pleased with them. I don't know if I get a full 20% more battery life, but I'm sure that they last longer than the stock battery. Plus the matching red is a nice touch.
This is what I have:

He's raised the price $10 since I bought them two months ago.
not a Mugen but i tested a comparable battery bought from best buy here:
http://forum.androidcentral.com/evo-accessories/29856-best-buy-1750-mah-tested.html
additionally, there is a link in there to someone that tested an 1800mah bought off ebay.
my advice: results may vary. buy it, test it, if it doesnt work out, send it back.
So it sounds like the Mugen or the Seidio is worth the extra money over the generic chinese brand as far as getting extra performance. I think the mugen is a little less than the seidio. I had originally thought about picking up one of the 3500mah batteries from seidio but eventhough they have an innocase for it, there are no holsters that will hold it. I need some kind of belt clip holster. So unless anybody knows of a holster/clip that will work with the 3500mah battery installed I will be stuck with a couple of the 1800 batteries. Do you think something like this would work with the 3500 since the very top and the very bottom are the only thing in the holster?

One last question about the Mugen 1800 battery. I found a site and the Mugen 1800 for the Hero is $11 less than the Mugen 1800 they are selling for the Evo. It is essentially the same battery isn't it?

[Q] Any tough extended battery cases?

Hey Guys,
Has any found any phone cases which cover the phone when an extended battery is installed?
So far all of the cases I have seen are for a stock battery unit. I think the battery life on the stock battery sucks big time, so I purchased two 3500mah batteries. They should be here any day now, but I would like to find a sturdy case like the cyclops case which was posted earlier.
Did you ever find anything?

Sprint extended 2600 or seidio 3500?

I know the may belong in a question and answer thread but since its about accessories I figured id ask here. Has anyone done a real world comparison between the sprint extended battery and the seidio 3500? I bave the sprint battery and I am getting exellent battery time out of it but if the seidio which is suppose to be 900 mAh larger and doesnt add much more in height over the 2600 then that might be a way to go.... Every little bit helps.
I however will only get it if it last longer and will fit under the sprint extended battery door so any answers to any of my questions would be appreciated.
I have both and actually prefer the sprint. I personally dont think the seidio is a true 3500. It doesnt seem to last much longer, maybe 10-15% but some days seems to die faster. The sprint is solid and gives me consistent results. The seidio will fit under the sprint case but doesnt snap properly. Stick with the sprint, its not worth the extra money to have the seidio

I would say which ever one you can get cheapest at the time. But I don't have the 2600. You said you have both. Is it thicker than the seidio? What I was wondering is if the seidio extended battery back will fit with the sprint extended battery installed? That way one could still use the innocase extended with the sprint battery.

Using the sprint battery with the seidio back seems to be "ok". But there is a fraction of space so if the phone gets jarred it can lose connection to the battery causing a reset. Normal bumps dont seem to affect it but I have had mine reset testing it out.
The seidio is thicker than the 2600 just to be clear.

3800 Extended Battery -- anyone try this?

I am on the LTE version and I've been seeing these 3800 batteries on eBay from China for the Galaxy Nexus (Prime) -- comes with a backcover.
Wondering if anyone has tried this?
Probably doesn't come with NFC built in...or does it?
What sort of life are you getting with this battery?
Does it feel sturdy, what are your reviews?
I have an Otterbox Defender with the official extended battery from Verizon in there. Don't want to lose the case but if this 3800 case and battery are truly amazing -- I would get a screen protector and the 3800 battery instead.
What do you guys think?
OR does this battery just mean that in a month Verizon or Samsung will have the same official version?
I'd like to, but don't want to sign up on ebay or paypal. I will wait until I can get one elsewhere.
I purchased a couple of batteries off eBay last night, a 3800, two 1900 and one of the 2000 + door from Korea, only the 2000 comes with NFC, when they eventually get here, I'll let you know how they hold up!
Edit: Noticed you are on the cdma nexus, however I assume the life will be comparable!

Good case for extended batteries.

I ordered 2 of these for my E4GT and this for my Evo 3D. Was wondering if anyone has had any luck finding cases to fit around extended batteries. I was figuring since all of these batteries are similar in size and shape, that a Seidio case would work. Anybody ever give it a try? Oh and can anybody recommend a good external charger for extended batteries? I had been using my Epic 4G as a external charger to charge the replacement stock batteries that I had but the extended batteries wont fit now.
