thanks, Ive purchased this one for now, it has a long delivery date from HK though
i have bought from that seller before and it has actually been pretty fast shipping to sweden. tell us what you think of it when you get it
damn...
the armband i use for my hd2 cant fit the one x...!!!!
I paid extra for a quicker delivery, Ill be sure to get some pictures up of it when it comes!
Still looking for a named brand too! I go through these something awful!
Maybe you could try Armpocket?
http://www.armpocket.com/products/XTREME-30-LW.html
I'll be checking if they have it in retail shop here in Singapore by this week.
I also need a new armband for my HOX
Just purchased the ArmPocket, fits HOX perfectly!
There are two credit card Size neoprene pocket inside. Can slot your credit card in one, some folded notes and a key. With phone on there is still enough room for some other stuff.
My dislikes about the armband is:
1) headphone Ports are at the bottom.
2) If headphones plugged in I'm not able to fully zip it up.
3) you have to place the phone in between the inner inseams and the clear plastic to use the touch screen.
4) not one size fits all, comes in three sizes, so make sure you measure your arm flexed and relax if you order online, got mine from a retailer, so I tried it on before purchase
5) bulkier then the 2 other armbands i had previously.
Likes:
1) Thick memory foam between arms and phone.
2) water resistant.
3) plenty of space inside for other stuff.
4) no rough Velcro that would cause chaffing.
5) good build quality, have not tested so can't really say it's great.
6) can use the touch screen thru the clear plastic.
7) super comfortable, i don't feel like i have a phone strap to my arm. this is my 3rd sports armband
Some of the key features stated on the packaging:
1) Eco-Friendly Durable Fabric
2)Water resistant
3) dual zippers
4) earbud access
5) touch thru window
6) non slip memory foam (back)
7) moisture wicking (back)
8) patent pending v-strap (back)
9) permium sport velcro with vented strap (back)
10) Soft bamboo rayon fabric (back)
-Fits all smartphones, even large Droids and iPhone with cases
-3 interior pockets, securely carries keys, ID, credit cards, energy bars and more.. ( i only see 2 pocket, maybe the third is the empty space between the phone and back)

Back in the day (2yrs ago) I used the product from Griffin called the “window seat” for my Itouch and I loved it. It never fell, The support was firm meaning when I hit bumps (potholes and the occasional prostitute) the device wouldn’t move but I could easily move it with my hand. so here’s my idea, I am going to get another Window seat (comes with the mount kit/arms an Itouch bracket and an iphone bracket) and cut the mount case for the iphone so that just the back connector is left (basically cutting the case part off). Then I will gorilla glue the bracket to a chepo hard evo case which will serve as my new mount, best of all I can Qik my drives with it being mounted in the window (makes me feel like a celebrity…Now where’s my Bentley?)
My question to you: What hard case would be your first choice? (Think cheap and durable and has to be hard plastic)
Edit: saw this in the other custom mount thread and i think i will take his advice and go with the case from handhelditems.com
Here is a pic of the windows seat so you can get an idea of how it will work.

Great idea... I need something like this for my Evo to sit in my pop up nav compartment.. Any places that sell this Griffin product on the cheap?
I like your thinking on this. My dashboard, however is not a perfectly smooth surface (2000 Honda Civic), would this thing stick?

probably not if its a soft surface, that's why i stick it to the windshield and hang it right below my rear view, my dash wouldn't allow it to stick lol
I just picked up a case from Walmart for $16 that is made by SwissGear (aka Wenger) that comes with a lifetime warranty. It has a zippered enclosure for the tablet and a zippered front pouch. The Archos 101 fits very nicely in it and if you have a very thin keyboard, that fits in there too, but its pretty snug in this case. I have the Apple mini bluetooth keyboard. There is about an inch on top, but length wise it fits perfectly. So it won't really slide around.
The UPC is 092837762329 and the part number is GA-7623-02.
The computer/tablet pocket is 10.5" L x 1.25" W x 7.75" H
The exterior size is 12" L x 1.5" W x 9" H
Anyway, just thought you all might like another good option.
I got the same case for Christmas. I used the foam insert to make two perfectly sized spacers to put in the bottom of the case, so the 101 fits perfectly.
Pics please?
Yes,pics plz
http://www.walmart.com/ip/SwissGear-Lunar-10.2-Sleeve-Black/14964986
That has pics for those of you wanting them.
To hijack the thread for a brief sec, I did something similar with the foam insert of a netbook case. Target was selling (is selling?) a hard honeycomb style 10" netbook case that is obviously slightly too thick and tall, so I cut the styrofoam packing that was inside, glued each one to hard cardboard, and covered them in felt. Now the top has one half felted up and the bottom has the other; end result is a hard case i can throw in a backpack or toss around the house and the tablet is hugged in cushiony feltness. For $18 bucks and some time it beat paying some of the prices for the flimsy cases designed for the archos that are out there now - although the $25 folio case floating around ebay is tempting.
In case anyone is still interested, here's the pics of my "mod" to the Swiss Army Knife case to fit the Archos 101.
Note: the foam was inside the case when I bought it.
First, I laid the tablet on the foam aligned with the top of it drew a line across the foam using the bottom of the Archos as a guide. I then cut out the piece and duplicated it.

See how the 2 pieces of foam will fill up the extra inch or two at the bottom of the case.
Shove the foam pieces into the bottom of the case and it now fits like a glove.

Hi XDA,
Time for another case review, again courtesy of the lovely people over at Noreve. In total this will be my 9th Noreve case review, so I am pretty familiar with their quality and style by now.
Noreve are known for their high quality leather cases, and what's even better is that they come with a ton of customization options a lot of other companies simply do not offer, especially with genuine leather.
As always, the case comes in a very nice box :
{

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
And once you open the box, you are greeted with a very handsome, velvety cloth pouch, to protect the case. Inside that of course is the case itself. I have always loved this touch and attention to detail from Noreve.
Once out of the pouch, you are greeted with that unmistakable smell of premium, genuine leather. This is what the case looks like :
And here is a shot just below installation, side by side with the Nexus 5 :
Installation is very simple, it just snaps into place very easily. However it's also very secure, I've never had one of these cases where the grip failed the phone and accidentally came off. In fact, a friend of mine dropped his Galaxy S3 while he was riding on his motorcycle and the case was still gripping the phone tightly. The case got a few scruffs, but the phone was unharmed.
Here is the case in it's open state, where you can see the Noreve branding on the inside. The case also has a magnetic closure which is very nice and works well :
Here are a few shots of the sides. There are easy access to all the ports and buttons, such as the volume rocker, power button, micro USB connector and headphone jack.
Here is a shot of the back of the case. The camera cutout is perfect.
And finally, a casual picture with the Nexus 5 installed and ready for action.
My one gripe about the case is that the LED indicator cutout is not aligned perfectly with the LED, it's a bit off. Noreve should look out for things like this in the future and make sure it's exact, as I'm sure a lot of people (including myself) care about small details such as this.
Overall, I am very pleased with the case. It provides great protection against just about anything, and it just looks fantastic. For those of you who are sick of cheap plastic cases which feel like, well, cheap plastic, then this may be a good alternative. There is just something about leather that makes me keep coming back to Noreve, and they never disappoint.
The cases are a bit on the expensive side. This one in particular retails for 46 Euros, and prices vary depending on which finish and stitching options you order one with. They offer free worldwide shipping with DHL though, so that's a major plus. I got my case in about 3 days, which is excellent.
All in all, I would say that it's well worth the money as you get what you pay for.
Here is a link to their product page for those of you who are interested. If anyone has any suggestions or feedback, just let me know and I will be happy to direct them to the Noreve team.
Also, Noreve is looking for people to review the cases they will be making for the Galaxy S5 and Sony Z2 once they are released. If any of you would be interested in reviewing those cases, just send me a private message and I will hook you up.
Cheers.
Trying my best to switch from Note 2 to OPO through this trial period and here is one of the many hangups I'm reaching.
Does anyone know if there is a case that has a pocket for ID / credit card that fits OPO? Much more convenient than taking your wallet out bar hopping.
This is the case I currently use for Note 2: http://www.zoarah.com/foxjail-air-pocket-case-for-galaxy-note-2.html
bump
There is some variants of adhesive card holders.. ie like this Can be hound at amazon too.
none that are one piece

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-busines...Cell_Phone_PDA_Cases&var=&hash=item1c42adc272
Use this one !
I purchase this one and it works flawlessly. Not only is it cheap but looks nice and has a few colors to pick from. I chose black and i love it.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L3FZ4YI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Price: $6.40 + $1.90 shipping
Cons:
Took me almost 3 weeks to receive if you live in the US like i do.
Makes the phone a bit bulkier because of the hinge the flaps open but not that big of a deal
Pros:
Keeps my screen safe from scratches
holds my credit cards decently
EDIT: I forgot to mention it doesn't come with any screen protectors although you can find one that does but its a bit more $. Also this case comes with a cheap very small micro fiber screen wipe.

I just ordered this case, with a red interior which has a card on the front (£13 / $20) delivered from Latvia. Good reviews on Etsy and on XDA for the shop.

Definitely would buy one of these. I had one for my iPhone and I really miss it.
Sorry to bump an old thread, I just realized how much I truly miss my credit card case for my Note 2.... :crying:
These others may be great for some people but I cannot use a "flip case" or whatever you'd like to call it, I just need something attached to the back of my phone.

I wouldn't recommend this case to anyone. The quality is very poor. The thread frays, and the fabric that separates your cards rips and makes it useless, the cards also slide down the length of your phone making them very hard to get to

I ordered a case from Otterbox after a chat session. They told me it would fit this newer version of the Razr. Well guess what..... it didn't fit. Trying to find a case for this phone is impossible. Motorola has as very expensive leather one on their website but its not available to buy anyplace. Anyone find a case for this phone?
I just got the phone myself over 36 hours ago. Give Spigen time to come up with a case

I tried to order that clear case, but it said it would take about a month to get, so I went with the casemate case that T-Mobile is selling direct from their website and got it in 2 days.
I ordered one of the leather cases that come up on amazon(not pouch), the casemate from t-mo, and the evutec s-series. All ordered on thursday 10/15 so far amazon says its getting shipped, tmo has bee completely silent, and evutec has a tracking link which makes me nervous considering the site said its a pre order... will update with whichever one shows up and when.
Downshift mind adding pics of phone in the case?
How's the Case-Mate fitting for everyone? I got a black one from T-Mobile and it comes off half the time I open my phone.
same here...

I ended up getting the CASE-Mate clear one direct from Case-Mate, and have the same problem. I contacted Case-Mate about it, they asked me to email them a picture of the case fitment. They offered a refund or replacement. I took the former.
I find the case to "dense" thick on the phone, more than it needs to be. What I would improve on it, is to thin out the entire case by approximately half, and leave the "impact" prone areas the thickness that is on there now (the nose of the phone).
The part of the case that covers the smaller display relies on the volume control buttons as a source of retention, and the plastic is weak in that area and gives way. I have not used other cases to date to see what other case manufacturers are doing to keep that part of the case in place. *That is the flaw of the front case cover design, and I think Case-Mate knows about this.
The only 'case' I'd be interested in putting on this phone is maybe a rubbery vinyl skin to protect from surface scratches and keep it from sliding off smooth surfaces.
Everything else seems too bulky... Not that there are many options. Nor are there any skin options anyway.
Well, got the evutec case, here's a pic, I'll start a separate thread to fully discuss it, but the basics are probably don't bother it leaves the bottom of the chin completely exposed not just the usb c port/sim slot the whole thing.
Just got the Evutec case. It has double-stick tape to hold the case on. It isn't too bulky, fits nicely, and stays on the phone. Should be a $20 not $60 case.
