This may have been mention before but nevertheless,
I'm going to guess that most of you use drop box, Box, or other as your usual place for cloud storage; I think there's better alternative, it's called "Minus." I find that Minus is ALOT better than dropbox or box. It's also like a social site, you can follow other people and get updated on what they post (provided it's public) or simply go to the explore tab and browse at what other people have posted. The only con I can think of at the moment is that there's a slight learning curve in the way you can do stuff, but it's not that bad.
You get more storage capacity by clicking this link
http://min.us/rbf8SIuu
you'll be able to register and get 11gb for free! Initially, if you sign up from the site itself you usually get 10gb. Another plus is that you can share you're own personal sign up links (provided in the site) with your friends and you both get an additional gb, the more the merrier.
,Happy sharing

Just on the off chance...
Would any person know of a good class for handling BeginWaitCursor / EndWaitCursor. Which is:
- External to any one form.
- Holds a count of calls, so that cancels at correct place.
- Can be interupted, say to display a message, then shown as before.
- Works with a multi-thread application.
- If possible, locks user input when active. (like a model wait cursor)
- (etc)
Ben.
You may want to ask CharlyV in this forum - specifically this thread..

We've been creating neat little system wait icons in there...

Like the idea of changing the wait cursor. (The word 'wait' seems slightly superfluous, since it's the only cursor...) Nice site, I look forward to seeing what response I get.

Ben
I work in the creative industry and as such would love to use my n7 for work
things i typically do are web design
html coding
seo
spreadsheet work
note taking
wireframing
id also love someone to recomend a good doodle app where i could anote a design tho is there anything better ?
anyone got any recomendations? got my £15 to psend in the g store too lol
I think the note taking app to mark up screenshots of designs is an easy one. Skitch by evernote (on the market) is good for that stuff.
In terms of web dev stuf I search recently and downloaded a bunch of apps but can't speak to how good they are, here's a screenshot though. Maybe you'll be able to look them up on the market and see if they are what you are after.

Some are reference apps but I guess the useful ones are andftp, silveredit etc.

I've seen some pretty advance graphing in widget. Wondering how these were made, whether with very advanced mathematical statements and Zooper code, or some other way.
I understand how the line graph could possibly be done, but the smooth curved line is baffling.
Anybody know or have done it?

Wow thanks!! I'll have to really take a look at that and/or download it, etc.
Got to be some pretty advanced math going on there. Not rocket science type but not something I'd want to hack my way through either lol.

Hi Guys! I have recently downloaden and installed a official LineageOS ROM on my phone. It was all pretty new andere overwhelming, but now I feel like I got the hang of it. I like it alot!
I have been playing around with the interface and came across something I don't fully understand. It's called "Dump SysUI Heap" (see attached image). I have searched the internet fort an answer but couldnt find anything about it. Can someone explain tot me what it is and what it does? What does the "pss: 92M / 250M" stand for?

Same here, I want to know as well.
I too am curious about it
I'm curious too
Bump, Is it the memory used by the system and apps maybe?
What are your first 5 apps you on LineageOS to get started on a brand new phone? I got slightly inspired by this thread:
What are the first five apps you install on Windows?
Even though I despise Windows that thread is a very good idea and has many nice things covered... just it's not android and it lacks an overview, a poll. Unlike politics, your vote really matters here - so tell us:
What are the first five apps you install on LOS in 2022?
Over time we should get a nice collection that should cover your basics (like a Swiss Army Knife Top Ten for apps). Perhaps you will get to know even new ones...

Yes, Neil is right, and you know it!
PS: I will start off with my own first three apps to get started and will add more choices, just drop a line here - keep it coming
