handcent is what I use it's awesome but you have to disable the stock under notifications status bar
Samsung galaxy s2 almost ics lol

look at the description of this app. It will give you the font needed to view emoji everywhere in the system.

Does emoji allow iphone users to see the same thing? And vice versa?

No notifcation missed texts or calls ?

Curious, just got the Nexus, running the ROM Android Revolution to start with, but I am not sure if it's the ROM or the phone overall, but when I get a text, it does not show the red little number in the corner of text icon in the bottom launcher. Is that an add on or different launcher I need ?
That feature is only available on custom launchers.

Thanks, what is the recommended launcher for ICS ?

emoji color font

Hi,
I know there is a solution to display emoji on android like "emoji font updater (root)" but that one is only in black and white.
Is there another way to see and type emoji icons on Android in Color? Or is this impossible?
I'm running 4.0.3 AOPK build 18 on my Galaxy Nexus.
thanks,
Bump
Nobody has anything on this?

If you use third party messenger apps like handcent or chomp, emoji icons can be shown with the right plugins..
I hope this is helpfull.

Search for "black exodus" theme...I would but I am on the phone. Its a sick theme
Not looking to theme the whole phone just those icons.

Try Jrummy's Rom Toolbox Pro. In the theme manager section there's an option to change individual icons

downloaded the toobox and dont really see any options to update the system icons that i want to update only.
Anyone know of a flash file to do this.. make the wifi, alarm, battery, data/signal white over the normal system ui grey?
Thanks.
Pull them from a theme and put them in your own zip will probably be the easiest. Just don't release to public calling it your build without credit and permission from the owner of the theme

I would try Thousand Clocks or Ultimate Custom Clock in the Play Store. I haven't used either since I am satisfied with my current widget, but I have heard good things about the former and its customization abilities. The latter seems to be highly customizable too, and judging from the Play Store description, it seems like you can use any font on your phone, so if you can import a cursive font onto your phone (I think the Play Store description tells you the directory), then you should be set. I hope this helped and good luck

IOS 6 Emojis
I have the ios 5 emoji keyboard installed on my note 2. Also I know you can get ios 6 emojis with GOSMS Pro Premium and they are color but only work inside the app.
The IOS 5 keyboard works throughout the whole system but is only in black and whit and does not include the newer emojis. The keyboard can be found here

That is not an iOS 5 keyboard. It's the emoji keyboard from JellyBean 4.2. It has the latest emoji, including iOS6 uses.
My bad Smiley, should have read your post more carefully. Great keyboard by the way, never realized it had the iOS 6 emojis
