Not many I think there is only ROM by pvyparts look in Dev section

I think any stock based rom but i'm not sure.You have to try.

As far as I'm aware, only two roms can be used with locked bootloader. I think it's the aniking ice cream rom and the fastyv1. Both in development section though the second Roms dev no longer has an Arc.

T E A M ROM is a modded stock rom which can be used via cwm no need for bootloader to be unlocked

Good question. Well unlocking your bootloader opens many opportunites, main one being you can flash custom kernels and then flash custom roms such as ICS and other roms that require unlocked bootloaders. Although you can flash custom roms on an unlocked bootloader, it's a lot longer and you can't flash kernels and therefore flash any roms that require custom kernels.
If you want to try custom roms, ICS and just experiment with your phone then go for it, otherwise just leave it. It's up to you really but since I unlocked mine I've never looked back...

Simple answer, yes.
Yes. I when you overclock your phone you need a custom kernel to do that. Also a custom kernel is usually smoother then stock. Lastly, if you want ICS you need a custom kernel so.....

You want to know why you should unlock bootloader? Well here is a reason, Sony decided to scrap ICS for Xperia Play. While other Xperia devices get to have ICS.
