Jelly bean tease. - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

I didn't get to it quick enough and that makes me sad. :-(
Any one got the leak?
Or any word on if anyone is working on a aosp type build of the leak?

Anyone know when its coming officially?
Everyone knows and we decided to keep it a secret from you

TORO: Who knows. Verizon decides. Literally ANYONE who says otherwise is just pulling guesses out of thin air.
TOROPLUS: Same Story.
MAGURO: Flash Takju/Yakju and have it now.
I could care less about official. I have a pure stock build of the newest 4.1.1 release running completely bug free on my ToroPlus.

Better radios? I am on toro+ and never have had better or faster 3g connection or speeds with any other device than my gnex on the fg01 radios. Also had a brief connection to lte which was amazing and apparently it's going live next month in my area.

Verizon will take a while to release it as usual. Google has released it for galaxy nexus devices though. Just gotta wait for the carrier now.

You know they'll release it as soon as you get another phone.

cmon sprint!

Just got my nexus

Was looking around for an answer but I couldn't find one via Google search. But I just got a notification that said I should update to jelly bean. Is it wise to update like that? Sometimes AT&T tires to trap you and I don't wanna take the bait.

Yakju /Takju GSM gNex updates come direct from Google, no AT&T involvement. I'd update.
Yea man just update. They are always from google

Okay sweet thanks! Just booted up on jelly bean and oh my its so much better than the ported jelly bean the s 2 had.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
Gotta remember that on the GSM Nexus you can get the OTA just fine without a SIM even in the phone. The carrier isn't involved.

All of the ROMs are the best for somebody. You just have to find out which one is best for you. It's a DIY project by nature.

well, yeah, that's what I feel like writing, because it's such a pointless question. you want to know what people use more? check number of pages of every rom thread and you'll know what most people are using. same with kernels. then read those threads, get the device, and enjoy flashing from day 1 you get the device, already knowing before hand what is it that you can expect (approximately, since, most of all, every device is different) from X release of X rom or kernel.
not to mention that must be there like lot's of threads on this theme, and that's it's a rather subjective/personal one.

How much more I have to wait for JB 4.2 Update?

Hello! I have Galaxy Nexus phone purchased from France. So it has yakjuxw filmware. I haven't revived 4.2 JB update even its out one and half months ago. When I look in about it shows 4.1.1 version. How much more I have to wait?
As long as it takes u to flash it manually

I have no idea when will it be available but maybe you would like to check this thread. I think everyone will suggest on you to switch to yakju to receive your OTA much faster
^^BUMP
Ask Samsung. Because nobody has any idea when it's coming.

If you would read, he is on yakjuxw, which is not updated by Google. It does not have 4.2 so that trick will not work.
So no I am not smoking crack, you just can't read

I wouldn't be in a rush to get the 4.2.1 update, it's quite buggy
