Guys, I want to unroot this phone back to stock ics, is there a way? I found the sght989unroot_ROM_zedomax.zip file but I'm not sure that it is compatible to ics with stock ics ROM and kernel. Any help will be greatly appreciated from this noob.
thnx!

You need to use Odin to the lde update then update to ics via kies.

AFAIK the lde update has driver updates the ics img requires that aren't in the ics img.

Nope.
If you can get ahold of the Kies temp file:
673,433,674 T989UVLE1_T989TMBLE1_T989UVLE1_HOME.tar.md5
That's all you need to flash. It's the whole enchilada.
My Odin file in the dev section is all you need.

What about recovery and counter and custom rom. Kernel and recovery aren't tied as in s2 man.

You don't understand what UtkarshGupta replied you in previous msg?
When senior member already correcting you, why are you misleading.
This is not note1 and only flashing stock kernel won't unroot.

Hello there.
I'm hoping someone will help me. I'm trying to downgrade the android version on my T999 from 4.1.2 To 4.1.1 please help.

If you never did the 4.3 official update then you can just Odin to 4.1.1, or if you have custom recovery you can flash a 4.1.1 ROM as well.. Pretty sure there's threads on this subject
