so each time i made a selection instead of going to the screen, the phone actually turn black, and nothing else
for example, in the clockworkmod home if i select wipe data with the power button, instead of seeing the other screen which will show wiping data , my screen just goes black and nothing else happens

Haha, I remember when I first rooted my phone I wanted to download a ROM and see what the big deal was. So I get into ROM Manager, select a rom, and start the process of flashing it. Halfway through flashing, I accidentally hit the power button. Lol, the screen went blank, but I was too afraid to touch it for fear of making it worse. Finally, when it didn't do anything for like 3 hours, I hit the power button again and it just resumed.
I felt SO stupid. Specially since it was around 3 in the morning, and I was tired.

It was in the leak for the Epic 4G for Gingerbread Value Pack not the 4G Touch. As datajosh said we will be getting it for ICS no point in them wasting time on writing the feature or porting it for ours its coming.

You guys are funny! I can't wait to try that out with ICS, seems like a neat feature
So I was just messing around with my phone and I found this cool way to change your brightness settings without having to go into settings. So besically all you have to do is slide across the top bar of the phone (where the time, battery, and data signal notifiers are). But do not pull down the notification bar just slide across the bar sliding to the right turns up the brightness sliding it left turns down the brightness. It works on GB and ICS. I dont know if this is a known feature or if samsung put it in there or if its just a glitch but i just wanted to share it.

I get them automatically as well, but some don't like my brother who has the same exact phone as me. I release them as they get pushed so that people who don't get the update can update.

Interesting was I the only one who didnt have any issues with 4G downloading on the store? Initial setup of the phone I always had an issue but then it goes away.

Either way, a logcat and directing it to the right people may help more people. And as Garwynn said in the other thread, reflashing really isn't the fix if the dev doesn't know what's broken.
