[Q] What are Call Mom 1.00 and Coin?

I'm in Titanium Backup, I see these two applications listed:
Call mom 1.00 which is actually pname: "com.htc.rosiewidgets.callmom"
Coin: pname: "com.htc.rosiewidgets.coinflip"
But what are they besides being part of rosiewidgets?
AND, are they necessary? Meaning can they be removed without worrying about it causing problems?

Yeah, just uninstall, they're not system apps.

Coin Flip is just that. There's a similar app in the market. Call Mom is a call reminder of some sort.

Thank you again, but how does one invoke/run them? I can't seem to figure that out, can't add them to my homescreen as widgets or anything else. It's just very odd.
I googled them and found nothing except the same posting that rosiewidgets now has 7 new widgets but that only 5 are available.
I'm just really curious as to how to run them, yes, thanks, I'd like to see how they work.

Ok, thank you mr. junior member smarty pants.
I "tried" adding them to my homescreen and they aren't showing up under the list of widgets.
"HOW" did you add them to my homescreen? Why did your response not show up?

lol ok hold your finger down on the screen to add a widget. click add widget. The very very very first line of text says more widgets or something like that and it shows a down arrow. click it and 7 more widgets will show up. coin flip is in there and several other widgets as well, there all crap lol.

Dude, I don't know what you're running, but the whole "more widgets" doesn't show up in Fresh.
Mine says:
Shortcuts
Widgets
LauncherPro Widgets
Folders
Wallpapers

They're not available to you...you're running launcher pro...htc widgets are only available if you're using the sense launcher.
They do show up in fresh, but you have to revert to the stock sense launcher.

I think Call Mom does just that. You set it to specific number and when press the widget it calls that person. I could just be blowin' smoke out my ass though...

[Q] App drawer scrolling on touch wiz

Hi All!
I really love the new TouchWiz but one thing that is annoying is the scrolling on app drawer. it to much iphone and not so comfortable.
so I wonder, is there a way to change the app drawer so it will be scrolling down and has 3D like the stock android/adw?

Switching to an alternative launcher like ADW Launcher EX is probably the easiest solution.
Try the "Nexus"-preset & "Vertical new" for the app drawer!

I think you didn't understood me properly(or maybe I didn't explain myself clear):
I really like what samsung did with the TouchWiz 4. So I want to keep it.
I want just to change the AppDrawer to be vertical scrolling(prefer with 3d).
Is theres a way to do that?

Im used to app drawers with the apps sorted in alfabetic order.
Is there an easy way of doing this in TW4?

In the app drawer, hit menu and then 'List view'. A reboot will default to the original.
No 3d I'm afraid.

Touchwiz app sorter in market. Need to be rooted.

yes it does.. prior versions didnt work but latest works.

it has annoying "3D" logo on center of dock that u cant remove but that is for looking screens

it has some useful apps and games you can download as well. found plants vs zombies...
just the 3d icon in the middle of the dock is sometimes annoying. but the app drawer looks amazing...

Oh yes this 3d icon is reallly annoying ...
This launcher is also consuming a lot of RAM men! it is always between 35-65mb!
Is it just me or do you guys have the same?

Cool, what do you like about the Launcher?
If it's the slide effect you like, you will find it in several different launchers these days. Im pretty sure ADW and Apex launcher has them. Maybe even GoLauncher?
The rest is just a live wallpaper and icon setup
Edit: OOPs... a wallpaper and a widget. I don't know how he got it on the lock screen though.

There's always an "on & off switch" for features you don't like.

[Q] Launcher help!

I am trying to find a launcher with no desktop grid, so i can place apps anywhere i want. And also to have stackable widgets, so i can place apps over widgets, but im not having any luck. So i came here to the pros in hopes that someone knew of a launcher that has both of those features in 1. I love customizing my phone
Edit: I forgot to mention that the launcher should also support custom icon packs!

I don't know, not spending $15 on a launcher. Those are the two that came to mind when I read your post, though.

There was a video I saw on YouTube that was something like : top 15 launchers for android. You should check that out I don't have the link to it right now sorry.
