I didnt turned it on yet to get the maximum out of the battery. Will charge it to 100%.
Buyed it for 579€ in Germany.
well done, congrats!
please do post some HDR pictures and short 1080p video samples when you get the chance.
great photo
Congrats
Glad I changed to white, it's simply been made with more love by HTC
I'm quite surprised by the innovative and attractive packaging design, it looks incredibly wonderful. "I'm the one you've been waiting for" looks like One epic marketing campaign.
Congrats bro!
Congrats!
Is there any point in not turning it on while it's charging? Don't see how that would affect battery life
Austria
just arrived also, onex white...
..definatly suggest to all to get it in white. white one looks really sexy =D, and the grey one, well a bit boring, imo.
Well, in the manual of my HTC Flyer, which got also a none removable battery it was clearly stated not to turn on the Flyer, before its fully charged. otherwise you can lose some of the capacity of the battery.
...wasn't stated in the manual of the HTC One X..but, well, save is save =D
Congrats -

You know that's an outdated instruction based on the old Ni-Cad and Ni-MH battery technologies.
Lithium Ion/Lithium Polymer batteries have no "memory" which is why they come from the factory mostly/fully charged.
I understand you erring on the side of caution but thought I'd let you know
In fact, best care of Li-Ion/Li-Pol batteries is to do half-cycle recharges, or "top-ups" rather than full drain charging cycles.
EDIT: http://batteryuniversity.com/learn/article/how_to_prolong_lithium_based_batteries Have a look here for some more info.

what kind of run time are you getting compared to your previous battery? Can you do some tests to compare whether or not its just a fake label?
Im really starting to consider buying two of these with a wall charger. At first I was all about the seidio 3000mah at $70 but I cant justify spending $70 on a battery, granted they are a reputable company. At $10 per this seems to make more sense.

I bought the pack of 2 batteries and a charger for $7. It works great, only issue is that I can't charge the non-OEM batteries past 100% on the phone or it will shut off.

7:25am - Phone powered on after full night charge with the phone off. Should be using a good amount of wifi today. Battery voltage says 4163mV.
I'm running oc'd 1200mhz & uv settings 100x5 75 with Perception" Creepy Eye" wallpaper.

So Ive made it down to 9% battery, but its been at that level for the past hour and half. Used wifi heavily today and watched a few youtube videos, played a few games and been on the internet most of the day. Battey says 3686mV. Local time is 5:45pm.
I think another full charge and battery reset should show longer run times. Will report tomorrow. Going to also try to find a scale this weekend.

1900mAh Battery x2 + Main Wall Charger for Samsung i9250 Galaxy Nexus
They fit perfectly in my O2 UK version of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus
One in my phone right now, the other in the wall charger.
So they aren't NFC's... but I am thinking a tenner for two batteries and a charger, cant be bad. I'll keep an eye on the charger so it doesn't burn my house down.
I am running a calibration using Battery Left PRO, to see how it compares with my stock battery. My stock has 25hrs full life

Thanks for sharing this find! Does the battery fit into the GSM version as-is or does one need a special cover? I am asking as the normal battery only hold 1,750mAh.

Will do... I am using one now, and as I said, calibrating it so I can see how much they hold compared to my original
Thanks, for the post, I'm interested in knowing if they hold as long as the stock battery or if they just printed a 1900mah on it. There's another ebay ad for a 2300mah which looks exactly the same as the battery here. I'd be surprised if they can get that capacity without increasing the size of the battery.
Of course for the price, I'd just be happy if it had the same capacity as stock.
Definitely need something like this, I couldn't care less about NFC at this point.
early rough calibration, is telling me it has at least as much at the stock.
I plan to calibrate them both, and i do it thoroughly until "accurate" so it'll take several days.
but i shall report back
defo this it was a wise investment at just a tenner
Wonder if they will work on the USA LTE version

Solar
But this technology is possible by capturing ambient light from both manmade sources and the sun and converting it into energy that can be used to recharge a device's central battery unit.
Hmmm...

...and furthermore it takes much more energy to manufacture a photovoltaic cell than it will ever reproduce in it's effective working life time. Plus the damage to the environment involved in the processing of the chemicals used to make these cells is something the solar panel industry doesn't want you to know. It's one of the reasons the world isn't solar powered yet.
The other one being that even the high-end (expensive) ones that only drop 1% efficiency per year, will see you wait approx 10 years before they've paid for themselves. Few people take the risk of needing to be in one place for that long just to see a return on their investment.
I love the reviews on that Solar Charger app. I got one of my mates with it (he just got his first smartphone). He complained it dropped the battery. I told him he needed to be facing south!

A few weeks ago I purchased one of these Polarcell 2700mAh batteries.
It took a few cycles but now the battery life is amazing. Yesterday I had been texting and chatting on skype pretty much all day and I was surprised my battery wasn't empty yet so I went into the settings to check my screen on time.
My screen brightness was on auto and I don't have any apps like noled that keep the screen technically on but don't consume a lot of battery. All I did was use Skype and Gosmspro.
So if anyone is looking for a replacement battery, I can recommend the Polarcell 2700mAh..
Bravo. Although a stock battery can be as good as new.

Could you please post screen shot of your About Phone with details of Rom/Kernel you're on? Thanks
Does it lose its charge in the next few weeks?
are these batteries the same dimension as the stock one? I mean, do I have to use a different back cover(bulky phone)?
@Octhellio which rom and kernel do you use ?
Been using a polarcell 2700 for a few months - and no matter what rom/kernel(both TW based or CM/PA/AOKP) I have been using - it holds its charge extremely well Worth the $$$
Great topic!

Are you using an AOSP based ROM or TW based? That's quite impressive is AOSP. I have 3 batteries and have my cellular signal off with brightness often at the lowest and get 4.5h maximum (batteries not too old).

I'm charging the battery! How many hours must be under load?
After 42 days, finally my batteries has come! (It´s sadly live in Brazil because of dollar conversion and time to receive Ebay things)
I put it on my phone and tried to use the 58% of charge that is inside.
I played 3 games and really feel that the battery discharge much more slower than my older one.
After 2h18m of screen time, it has 28% left!
I used 2h18m games/internet/youtube and it only discharge 30% (it´s a record on my phone)
Buuuuuuuuuuuut, it´s only the first impression...
Today I will fully charge the phone and do some tests...
I come back soon with my impressions.
Best regards

The battery comes in a nice bubble wrap with a good quality sticker protecting the battery pins. Really can not understand still how something like this can be this high quality yet this inexpensive. Gives my $29.99 Original battery a HUGE run for its money

Used this battery for almost 2 weeks, so far so good. :good:
thanx for the info on the battery.. will get one for me and one for my wife..
i bought this battery a month ago nothing special
just a cheap second battery and in no way 1950 mah
don't get me wrong for 3 euro it is awesome
The only fear is from explosion or something like that with replaced battery.
Just bought 2 from a seller on fleabay uk at £3 each, difference is mine dont have the samsung brand but instead have smaller "For Galaxy S2" printed on both sides, maybe samsung is finally doing something about all the fake sammy batteries being sold and genuine buyers getting stung, i fully understand that oem batteries are in most cases cheaper and can be as good as the original but if it says samsung it should mean genuine samsung and not have a half truth half way down a sellers listing saying packed in bubble wrap not a genuine product and no mention of any warranty whatsoever, still fleabay wont enforce the "genuine non genuine" listings because they claim they cannot police every seller !doesnt stop them taking their fees from every seller though.
haha awesome
yap, its cheap ,
I buy some different brand for S2,
but stock bat. usually have more cycle life than other :cyclops:
Huh! Going to order this..
