I installed some ROMs but can find what the best. Anyone can help me
For most people AOSP Kang. It's the best supported and very stable. I'm sure there's others out there that are more experimental with cooler features.
What is the best car? Or the best Music? Different people have different needs so what the best ROM is for me, isn't for you. Just try some more and find out whuch one suits you the best. No harm is done in flashing some different ROMs and you might get addicted to flashing as some of us here are
You will get different answers from various people here.

As mentioned above its all about preference. A good way to see what will suit you is taking a look at the first post of every rom. It'll let you know which features it includes to help you decide. Also, read some posts by others to see if there are any widespread bugs that'll shy you away from it.
As of now AOKP is the most popular ROM. Customization is almost limitless and its loaded with with extra features. It all comes down to what'll make you most productive and happy with your phone.

FoxHound ROM 0.4.
If you want a highly customizable and very snappy ROM, try FoxHound ROM 0.4. I used it for several months and is definitely my favorite ROM for the G.N.
AOKP. maintained very well and updates about every week
just my opinion, but yeah look around and find what fits you. aokp is great because it has a lot of customization so you can make it the way YOU want it to be.
Another vote for aokp

Without a shadow of a doubt it's CodeName Android.
AOKP and Foxhound are good, but lack the a lot of the simplicity and features that I like on CNA.
Get it here
I have choosen the jack nexus rom, this mod rom created by vietnamese.

I am not rooted and unlocked and on 4.0.4. Now I want more. Does anyone know of a feature rich fast and stable rom featuring the newest TouchWiz? If not what is your suggestion for a ROM? What's the best? I'm very new so all information is great!
No Nexus rom will have TouchWiz. As for the best so far? That answer will vary from person to person. I, personally, enjoy BAMF Paradigm.

aokp + franco
If you're looking for TouchWiz, this is your best hope. However, nothing works right now. I personally doubt the ROM will ever be functional, as there are three of them and there's a lot of work involved to get it working at all, not to mention quirking out everything and updating the ROM. In addition, I guess very few are interested in TouchWiz ROMs for Galaxy Nexus. So don't get your hopes up.
if I were you, I'd go for a ROM which is working and has active developers. Check out the Galaxy Nexus Development forum, and you'll get a pretty good idea of what's out there.
Hi everyone, just a simple question. I am looking for the best overall ICS rom for the T989 right now. Is it worth flashing now or should I wait for Jelly Bean rom or any other rom? Thanks for the help everyone.

I'm using Darkside Evolution 3 v7 ICS rom and it works flawlessly. Best ICS rom I've ever used.

So far Aokp is my DD right now I like to the stock feeling of ICS and not touchwiz

Ah dissenting opinions! So there is no de facto rom?
That's like asking what the best car is. Its subjective.

Let the flashing begin...
Personally, I've stuck with Darkside Evolution 3 (v7) since its release. Although it looks very stock, it's very stable with an amazing kernel and battery life.
AOKP and cm9 are amazing (I'll be flashing cm9 again once we get our release candidate).
AOKP feels like cm based ROM with a little more to offer but with that being said, neither feel as stable as a stock based ROM for our phones at the present time.
You'll always get a biased opinion so I'd suggest flashing some of the more popular roms by checking each thread and good luck buddy!

I've been wondering the same. Reading through the forums, I determined Darkside Evolution 3 (v7) was the most popular. It took a few flashes before I was able to get it working right on my phone, but it runs similar to stock. The only way you'll be able to tell if you like it is if you give it a try.
aokp..... more tweaks.... less bloats, stable, fast.

Try ParanoidAndroid, this ROM is awesome.

I'm gonna say AOKP. I've tried all of the aforementioned ROMs and I have settled on AOKP because of the amazing battery life, customization and the AOSP theme it comes with. AOKP has also become very stable as of recently, rivaling the stability of Darkside. I used to run Darkside when it first came out, but now I can't get over the very stock feel/look. If you enjoy the tweaking, I would suggest AOKP. If not, then go with Darkside. If you want something in the middle, go with CM.
+1 on AOKP and link is in the sig. Darkside is also a great ROM just depends on your preference of touchwiz or stock. Both are the top ROMs imo.
Either AOKP or anything DARKSIDE.

I find it funny anytime I see one of these threads and find it even funnier when I see how many people answer. Its probably easier to say what not to use....LOL
Lets be honest thousands of people use this forum and if only 20 actually answer this thread I am quite sure all of the dozen or so roms will be mentioned... This question is like mentioned earlier is subjective and no way can you find a definitive answer in here....
I hate stock but there are some advantages to it, I love CM9 but also enjoy some of the tweaks of AOKP... I just load them all up get them to how I like it and nandroid them all... Problem solved
OP good luck but instead of reading our crazy posts get to flashing
AOKP
I am on AOKP Milestone 6. Was gonna try Darkside, but liked aokp and dont see any reason to switch.
There are few things that will not work with AOKP.
1) WIFI calling
2) Audio out via the car dock.
If those are not issues, try it out.
Hey there I just got my girlfriend a galaxy S3 and would like to know what is the most stable ROM for daily driving? I'm using CleanROM for the note 2 and it's amazing. Was wondering if there is something as simple as CLEANROM?

Ya that really a loaded question and can get you a lot of fanboy answers. You best bet would be to show her some of the diffrent roms there are and the features they have. Then let her test drive it and see what she likes best. Thats what it alwasy boils down too. Not so much the best ROM but the best ROM for you as the user.
look around in the Android Development section if she's more into the stock S3 look and feel. some great options in there like i747z and CSROM

Definitely a matter of personal choice. Whether you go with my Intergalactic ROM, enewman17's, upndwn4par, or even more that I have not mentioned, chances are that you will receive a good quality experience on this phone. We all work together to make it better as a matter of fact. Take a look at each thread, flash a ROM, make a nandroid backup of your settings if you like it, try another, come back if you preferred the last one. We are fortunate to have many talented devs here who dedicate themselves to making this phone the best it can be. Good luck and regards.
I can't say "most" since I haven't tried them all, but these have been my favorites - simple, very stable, great battery life, de-bloated, no BS, just work great:
ICS - KyanROM
JB - Ultimatum S3
i like cyanogen mod but I am currently on Liquid Smooth RC2 4.2.2 rom and so far so good
I'm not going to ask the dreaded "what's the best custom rom" question but I'd like some opinions on some users.
I'm looking for something that's stock based, debloated, optimized kernel for batter or possible options to oc/uv, things like that.
All responses will be appreciated.

friggin gettin' it done, buddy. love it
who is your service provider? in the android developer section there are stock based roms that are debloated. ignore the above link for most part. just a sausage measuring thread really. go to the source of roms and find one. you can always change it. personally I use wicked v8 which sure looks stock and I get better battery. but go out and experiment. if there was a best rom it would be the only rom
you need to do the research yourself and decide what you like. not that hard, just a bit of reading, maybe a bit of flashing.

Personally the 2 best ones I've used so far are the XperiaZ rom and LiquidSmooth RC2..
LS being very Nexus-ish and is JB 4.2.2
Fastest and smoothest I've tested so far (out of about 8 or so)
The Xperia rom is like a modified stock TW with some cool features like the Sony home screen customizations and has the option to have the Note 2 cam and gallery, features intact.
Both roms last about 20+ hrs with pretty heavy use..
But they all have their different perks and strengths, weaknesses, etc..
Basically up to you to flash multiples until you find a good stable daily driver that suits all your needs
Be sure to follow instructions meticulously and read read read!
Make sure also to hit "thanks" to people that help you and consider a donation to a rom dev that's spent their hard earned time to cook up these cool options for us!
Happy Flashing!

op said something stock based. and you throw out an aosp rom. if you like touchwiz, like me, aosp will probably annoy you. and as for add-ons. well you can tinker a bit. like my rom didnt have nexus cam with the sphere cam so I just flashed it in a separate zip file. you can just debloat what you already have after you root and get a new kernal. kernals will improve your battery life on their own. but yea. read stuff

My Spring Note 2 is currently stock rooted, and I'm thinking of beginning to start downloading and exploring some of the rom's out there. But before doing so, I'm wondering is anyone has any advice a pros and con's of each one, or maybe interested in starting one? Not looking for what the 'best' may be, as that's a personal choice, but more of a feature list, etc of each rom.
I would really like to test the Jedi rom, but unfortunately it is not available for the sprint note 2.
I have use lots of aokp roms as well as touchwiz and my experiences are that aokp roms losses signal a lot % 20 percent of areas I have use cm, carbon, pacman, paranoid, stock aokp and all of them seems to be the same but paranoid and pacman have a bit better signal, now on touchwiz roms you will not see that I recommend macks rom or lab rat rom for me this 2 roms are stable I have try many more but some of them have to much theme. I hope this help you if you have any question let me know as I have try lots of roms Thanks

Or u could do what I do, which theres probably many like me. I am stock rooted well almost I flash many mods from this site or found in other roms so its like building your own rom things such as themes, kernels mods like the bravia engine.

If you want the latest version of android use a AOSP rom. I highly recommend it. Carbon ROM is super fast, smooth and has great features. Good benchmark scores paired with plasma kernel too.

All roms have pros and cons, but only the individual user can make those determinations as all users are different.
Threads like these get closed as the always spiral into arguments about which rom is best, members are expected to do their own research and reading to determine what it is they want.
