Hello guys, since I've took a break from theming and have a new baby boy I don't have the time for theming right now...
What I do have the time for is Lockscreens and Home screens
Ive had a crazy number of PM's on how to make them, instructions ect ect so the dudes over at the desktop thread suggested a new thread just for this purpose..
So Lets get on to the first one (none of this is my work, my work (only some modded icons ect is detailed at the last part of this post. I take no credit for the Original concept or ideas..
A massive thanks to the guys over at My colorhomescreen........ you know who you are !..
Lets crack on.
Light ...
Dark
Dark 2...
ICS Version (I modded out the android)
And my super modded one
And my new modded white one
These are the instructions and downloads for the first dark one here ....and the widgetlocker theme for the lock screen
http://www.reddit.com/r/GalaxyNexus/comments/s1xsn/finally_customized_my_galaxy_nexus_home_screen/
Its for the galaxy nexus but the concept is the same... These instructions work for my modded version to a point..... I use snowstorm for the weather and minimulistic text for the battery...
I use ADW Launcher ex ....go launcher ex and others will work too ...
Here is my modded lockscreen too, works fine with the Galaxy S2
Feel free to post in the thread for any help..
Here are my finished working screens
Enjoy !
thanks ! it's so beautiful .
Thank you.
Congratulations my friend

No, the question is not about the ROM but the launcher, i managed to figure the things out on ADW Launcher, 7x7 grid layout, Hyperdroid as well.

Hi,
I am looking for some really good widgets to showcase info like current weather, current battery level, how long has the phone been up, which app is hogging the most battery power, etc, for the hone screen.
Would any of you have any suggestions?

Recast (My #1 right now), Fancy Widgets, Beautiful Widgets
Themes and apps. But yeah beautiful widgets or hd widgets are good
DO YOU JELLY?
Well, i did try out HD widgets. Did not really like their designs. I currently use a combination of Beautiful Widgets and BeWeather.
Any other suggestions?

Make your own clock widget. Supports battery, time, date and some others. For more battery specific info I use battery monitor widget alongside system tuner by 3c. Those two are hands down the best monitoring apps.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
I actually like Go Weather, but you can only use it with Go Launcher.
try UCCW. u can create ur own widgets.
Premium widgets
Thanks all. I'm currently using this Super Clock Live Wallpaper, and I am liking it.

Try One More Clock widget. Free and Paid version. Check out his Chrome Rings Theme!
Well since the sections have split, I figured I might as well kick off the new obligatory "show your home screen" thread. That said, here it is....now show your home screen

However, this mod from OP ONLY make the weather icon bigger, nothing more or less!

Yes sir, I did. I read the whole thread, and some guys are using apktools. There's a flashable zip, so I took the easy route...lol. No go on my end. Flashed the ROM clean....and still no go. Are u on 4.1.2 or 4.1.1?
Work fine on jedi 8x. Using v2
Sent from my SGH-T889
Hmmm, thats weird. I tried both and it worked out fine. Since you tried the zip it didn't work, why not try to copy those weather icons and see wassup. BTW, I'm on cmenard's 4.1.2 rom.

I could not get any of these LS Mods to work on Note 2 Tweaked v1.1. Not sure if it matters to be on Stock Note 2 Tweaked v1.1. Cause I do have the MotoMoto theme applied when I tried to use the mods.
Even tried on stock Tweaked v1.1 and v1.2 still same results. I must be doing something wrong.
Shows everything big of course but everything is offset. Everything is at the bottom of the LS and is unreadable. The time only shows the hours and not the minutes just a huge black box covering the minutes.
DashClock is a replacement lock screen clock widget for Android 4.2+

I'm using this for a week now but i still can't figure it how to remove that black transparent background.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Seen this on android central feed, I like it a lot but my only gripe is the fact that the stock LS collapses it. I would love if it can stay "open" all the time instead of having to swipe down to see missed calls or texts. And the damn settings button always shows as well.

Works very well, i like it.
May be more options will be included in the next upgrades.
i'm using it as well, you should try battery ext from play store.

Good question.

It uses Yahoo Weather, as stated, and apart from adding the extension it should just pick up your location. I didn't have to manually add it. Whether it is done by GPS or Mobile Network location, it just seemed to take for me.

This used to happen to me . Then i disabled the option to use home screen widgets in lock screen from my custom rom menu.
But now there is a new version from this app, that allows your homescreen widget to have full transparent background.
Yes i just updated recently, now how can i resize the overall icons and texts? They're so big... and i have to slide down to see the rest of the notifications.

I wish there was support for Whatsapp too.
Also,
I hate having to manually expand the widget when it's set to default.

There is one. Search for dashclock extensions on the play store.
I love the widget. Its fantastic. The only issue I've had is refresh time. I don't know if its there app or what, but I had a missed call yesterday morning. Even though I cleared the notification and even called them back it never went away from the widget. Hope he fixes it soon

Did you have a solution for this issue ? My LockScreen also take 2/3 from the Screen, so i cant see the full DashClock
Unless you have some sort of Lockscreen control built into the ROM, and enabled maximize lockscreen widgets or however it's worded, then there doesn't seem to be a way to force it to max size. Unless someone has found another method, which I am eagerly looking for.
I'm loving this, but the weather doesnt seem to show for me. Even tried defining a location in the default clock to see if it was connnected.
