Just make a nandroid backup of your stock ROM and try as many as you want. That's what I did with my Sprint GNex a few weekends ago since I wasn't 100% sure what I was looking for. You can always restore back to stock should you not like a ROM for any reason.
I decided on AOKP b37 and Franco Milestone 3 (now running Milestone 4)--this setup has been flawless for me with no crashes or hangs at all. In addition to my stock nandroid backup I also have four backups of other ROMs as well, should I want to try out the different functionality each one offers.
Rascream and liquid smooth are probably the two best roms.
Rascream doesn't have many options but is built from aosp and is the fastest rom out there and liquid has more options and is pretty smooth.
Thanks guys

Say hello to all my friends in XDA Family!
I'm looking for The TabMod of AOKP B40 or M6. I remember that there was a thread about TabMod for AOKP that stopped at B38,maybe but I dont know why now I can't find out it. And I'm using AOKP B40 and very satisfied with it,and I love TabMod so much too. I hope one of you - Developers can help me and the others.
Many thanks for your help and reading with upping the thread.

Yeah. It's also a good idea, but I prefer AOKP to Cyanogen Mod.
Any chances to have Mod only for AOKP

Just lower the dpi to 160, which will automatically trigger tablet mode, then increase text size in settings - accessibility.

Doesn't that goof up the Play Store?
I'm just curious, I've never used tablet mode.

Yes, it does cause some incompatibility issues with the play store. I used to use LCD Density Modder to fix it, spoofing it that my phone is actually 320 dpi, but it's incompatible with JB, and judging by the silence, thr developer jas no intention of updating it. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Would like see this as well, like AOKP as well
These Nighltys are built from AOKP source with afew cherry picks.
I take NO credit for this, just want to share my builds.
AOKP is still in development at the moment, things are added everyday, when something new and intresting is added i will make new builds.
I want to take the time to thank the AOKP team, Cyanogenmod and the Android community.
Enjoy the builds and please report the bugs in this thread.

3-Lockscreen targets were removed on test 2 but will be back, didn't add it because of framework compatability issues.

Mind if I ask what's the difference between official and non official? I accidentally flashed snugly version, but other than more features, not noticing much

Official is when the team as a whole decide to post an new rom update, not just "nightlys" with stuff that isn't merged yet.
Also some people say that its not official if its not posted by a team member, which I'm am not
Its basically the same rom, just with afew more features or different "cherrypicks" if you will.

Well, answer is no. All you need is a custom recovery (Clockworkmod or TWRP). If you're completely stock, then sadly no

A lot of these build.prop edits are in most of your custom roms anyway and a lot of them have options to enable the init.d stuff no need for a script to do it twice.

Just a warning to you, threads like this are no longer allowed on xda. My suggestion is do a little reading through the roms your interested in and then do a little bit of trial and error until you find what your looking for.

I would agree with this. CNA with jellybean has been the most stable jellybean rom I have used for the galaxy nexus.
Best ROM is the ROM that suits YOU. Just try all out and stock with the one that you like. I would recommend starting with something popular, like cm or AOKP.
