Yeah my japanese is so bad that I didn't noticed that it is chinese. Go figure
i've download this ROM, I don't have major problem, but there's a small problem which bugs me:
I had to remove the battery if I turn on the machine while connected to computer, because it stucks at the startup screen before animation.
performance-rise, before applying one-click-lag-fix, the quadrant benchmark score was around 900. after that, it's still slightly shy of 2000.
I had been using the I9000XXJP3 ROM, but there wasn't a Chinese input so I downgraded back to an eclair ROM, until today. This ROM resembles mostly the XXJP3 ROM.
There's a couple of things which makes me feel that this Froyo ROM is not an official Hong Kong ROM.
1) I'm aware that some of the chinese in the sysyem was simplified characters instead of traditional.
2) There was no Hong Kong supplementary characters in the default input method, contrary to the Hong Kong official 2.1 ROMs.
Wow, I'm from HK so will definitely try this out when I get home

After all this wait myself and im sure others were hoping fora froyo build with JIT fully enabled thus giving us a benchmark of about 1400 without lag fix..

I got it from here: http://www.kingmobi.net/bbs/thread-140108-1-1.html
Members' only download with password protection though. you might as well find a login on BugMeNot.com
So far, I have no intention to downgrade back to 2.1, but I might do so if I find more bugs in addition to the boot bug.
This ROM can input both English and Simplified Chinese?

Available & working a treat! Upgraded my Voda Galaxy S to Froyo this morning using Keis.
No Longer have that awful Vodafone Splash Screen.
Seems to me Vodafone have done a good job with this froyo update & actually listened to their customers, with regards

I was hoping Richtofen to convert it to a mid package to be safer
This is not available thru Kies.
Latest version is I9000BUJM4.
Need to check the key tomorrow.
Dang, scanning service crash. Will upload request files (decrypted) in a few minutes.
So does this actually have a build date of 11/11 or is it just another variant of the JPO/JPA that we already have?
I have a Galaxy Ace Plus, GT S7500, and the rest of the details:
Android: 2.3.6
Baseband: S7500XXLC3
Kernel: 2.6.38.6
Build #: GINGERBREAD.XXLC3
Currently, the firmware is filled with Virgin Mobile crap, I want to install a stock rom that is BRANDLESS.
I went through all the steps yesterday using a rom of exactly the same PDA/Baseband, and unsurprisingly it was also Virgin branded also, so I went through the trouble of doing this and ended up with the same firmware...
According to Sammobile, my only UK choices are: VIR, VOD, BTU or VOP.
Vir is Virgin, Vod is Vodafone. What do the others mean? Does it matter if it's from another country?
I need a brandless firmware, and Sammobile don't tell me explicitly if they are so.
Ugh, so much that I am not entirely clear on.
I hate how confusing this is and how much guesswork is involved with these things. I'd just like some clear instructions that I can follow.
...Someone experienced - please go to Sammobile.com and recommend me a firmware.
Thanks.
Try this http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=8&view=5938
all firmwares on sammobile are branded that's why we use custom roms to get rid of these things shortly you have to install a custom rom
IMHO,
It's better to try some ROM in Android Development thread your device to know the best suit to you

Sorry, I don't like / trust custom firmware.
I don't believe it's impossible to acquire a brandless firmware. I've seen them! (as in I've seen a sim-free Galaxy Ace Plus which is un branded with Virgin, Vodafone etc.)
I will try installing the firmware suggested by monkeywithbanana.
I don't believe there isn't an obvious solution to this. I've seen guides online on how to install brand free firmware, this is surely something XDA users are familiar with...
Monkey. It worked!
I saw the samsung logo instead of my virgin logo and that made me happy
Then I saw what looked like hebrew glyphs and became worried. But then I changed the language and everything works fine
Thanks!
Q&A for [OFFICIAL] Firmware selection for SM-T700/SM-T800 Variants

Dude, Thanks for this!

Just one question... is there any changelog available for the updated firmwares?
Kinda want to know what the differences are between my current FW and the updated one.

Problem is, samsung never release any changelog, they just give numbers. Changelist called. Higher means later version and more changes, but what changes... that just knows samsung
All I know is that, the new update is always better than stock. It could be faster/optimised or it can be a surprise! The nov update seems to get better performance is what i know

With this firmware here?
Yes in caution I re download the firmware here and attempted both dirty and post wiping flashes, post wiping flash worked for me. The failure occurred at the loading of the hidden section
So I flashed the T700 firmware, coming from CWM and a CM12 ROM from this board, and now my tablet is completely stuck. It got past the first part of booting, but it's stuck at the final Samsung logo. Won't respond to any sort of button combination to restart it, even when I plug it in. Is there a way to restart it, or am I screwed?
Am looking for the Swiss t-700 firmware ANL1. It's showing on sammobile, but unable to download. This seems to be the latest version.
Update : using this now.

I have noticed a few Firmware variants for the SM-T800 which specifically states in the title they are for the 16gb version. Is there any reason that they shouldn't work on a 32gb model? I need to get rid of the bloat and speed up this nice piece of hardware.

Don't know.
I do not know how it behaves with other countries. I have changed with the German A70 of the Telekom to the free firmware. For Vodafone there is still no new firmware. You could try the PHN software for Netherlands. But if it does not work you can not go back until Vodafone releases a newer firmware than the current one. Everything at your own risk. Just look at sammobile.

Which free firmaware, and how do you flash (change) the firmware?
Don't expect regular monthly updates as the A series is only scheduled for quarterly updates
It came however in the free firmware without Branding already 2 new updates. while Vodafone and Telekom have not rolled out yet. In these updates, the camera and the fingerprint scanner has been improved.
You can load the firmware at Sammobile and flash with Odin.
However, at your own risk.
Somehow Samsung is strange anyway. There are newer firmware in India and Iraq than in Europe.
