bc of a crack at the light sensor I decided to get a complete new housing and I'd like to have it made of carbon.
Did anyone ever see something like this?
And I'm not talking about this fake carbon, which is printed plastic....

no there isnt anything like that i think the only way to get a carbon housing is to scase and have it made by carbon fiber if u can some1 to manifacrute it for ul...choose a And it will be quite expensive.

Your right.
New phone would cost about same amount as one carbon fiber housing.
You could buy some carbon fibre tape and cover your phone in that sure there's a video on youtube showing how to do it but can't remember what phone was used.

i am able to produce real carbon fiber battery covers...but i would like to know how many would be interested in purchasing them...i dont wanna put the time in for nothing...i can make ur common black carbon...red n black..yellow n black... blue n black...they would also b gel coated...not just plain carbon...

it will be $40 to $50...gotta c how long each will take... 100% as stated...im starting now makin mold from the xtra oem cover...b4 i get to involved in it i wanna c what kinda response i get...no plastic inserts...it be just like an oem fit

no..there is actually a phone...i believe its called LG SECRET...made with carbon fiber battery cover...n there are sone phone model that u can purchase aftermarket carbon fiber battery covers...google it

Are you sure about the carbon fiber not interfering with signal? I had a look at the LG Secret and it is a carbon fiber battery cover, but it does not cover the whole backside of the phone. There is a space at the top and bottom of it that isn't covered in carbon fiber, and for all we know that might be where the antennas reside.

im after a carbon fibre case for my phone and the only decent case ive found is the Zenus.
However i am looking at a cheaper alternative and wondering if there going to be as good?

more carbon, not sure if i am going to like a flip case or not, unsure about the finish of the outer section but that can be painted i guess lol

I don't have any recommendations for a carbon case because I am a fan of leather, but that first case looks pretty nice.
I like the first one too. My only concern is how tedious it would be when answering calls with the flip.
Yea the flip can be a pain.
The first case is very nice but im unsure if it sits further out then the screen like gel ones do. I might ask the seller if he can get a pic of it on an actual phone.
If this is real carbon fiber I would be concerned with reception as it conducts electricity.
I have orderd the 1st case last night. I shall let you all know what its like when it turns up.

If this was real carbon fiber, it'd be a lot more expensive.

I just purchased a role of this stuff then cut it with a razor blade and blow dryer to make the material more compliant.

No fair... you tell us you bought a roll of it and DIY'd it without saying where you picked up a roll. Also, is it true carbon fibre or some sort of embossed plastic? either way both colors look great... I vote yes!
Was going to do the same thing with red CF material! Happy to know it looks awesome. The guys that tinted my windows have a ton of this stuff, you guys asking might check places like that, or vinyl shops.
It looks better then the one from Phantom Skinz. Too bad I don't have enough time/patience to do it myself. I ended up picking up the whole carbon fiber skin for $17 shipped.

carbon fiber is black. if it was white fiber, it's probably fiberglass, though it'd probably end up clear after curing, or nylon/polyester.
Both are sexy as hell!

there shop is just expenensive, they always have discounts, than prices are okay, bought 2black carbon stickers 1white, amd a hard case to put a carbon sticker on, and a hd screen protector but feels like crap, and makes sensiblity of the touch bad... so toke it of. make tempered glass is good... not sure if i will lose some sensiblity of touch i hope not..
but bought it with 90% coupon, was okay couldnt find cheaper carbon stickers thats the only reason i biught from them
